Project superintendent John Cowart with Oscar Renda Contracting, the firm rebuilding and replacing infrastructure covering 55 miles of streets north of the CSX railway in east Biloxi, provided this update on the project.

I'm
here
today
to
give
a
progress
update
on
the
east
end
of
the
project.
We
have
completed
the
installation
of
the
gravity,
sewer
main,
which
runs
along
division
street
from
Oak
Street
to
Nixon
street.
We
are
not
working
to
install
the
new
sewer
on
all
the
side
streets
on
the
east.
End
of
the
project
was
connected
division
street
from
Nixon
Street
back
to
Keller
street.

We
are
working
to
complete
the
second
of
three
sewer
boards,
which
will
allow
us
to
bring
the
sewer
from
the
west
end
of
the
project
to
the
east
end
of
the
project.
We
anticipate
this
work
to
be
complete
sometime
in
the
mid
summer
on
Grand
Avenue,
we
have
a
crew
that
is
working
to
complete
both
the
sewer
and
storm
drain,
with
a
goal
of
being
complete
by
the
end
of
march
on
still
have
any
south
of
division.
We
are
working
to
complete
the
drainage
structures.
