today,
the
city
has
completed
more
than
249
million
of
the
more
than
355
million
dollar
infrastructure
program,
and
currently
the
city
has
25
million
under
active
construction
in
the
project
area,
south
of
the
csx
railroad
from
holly
street
to
point
cadet,
an
additional
32
million
in
awarded
construction
adjacent
to
highway
90
between
the
bees,
road
and
veterans
avenue
in
the
south
contract
area.

michael's
project
under
general
contractor
nikkei
brothers.
Construction
company
continues
with
placement
of
sanitary
sewer
on
howard
avenue,
beginning
at
oak
street,
and
going
west
towards
rossetti
and
due
course.

The
contractor
is
installing
curb
and
gutter
on
myrtle
street,
between
howard
avenue
and
first
street,
and
also
on
oak
street,
between
howard
avenue
and
first
street.
In
anticipation,
a
placing
base
asphalt
pavement
beginning
the
week
of
july
5th
myrtle
street
remains
closed
at
this
time.
Until
the
placement
of
the
asphalt,
however,
trafficking
detoured
to
the
palace
casino,
the
point
cadet
plaza
the
maritime
and
seafood
industry,
museum
in
a
salt
grass
restaurant
by
taking
cedar
street
to
howard,
avenue
and
then
going
east
on
howard.

businesses
is
also
available
from
highway
90..
This
42
million
900
day
project
is
located
between
holly
street
and
point
cadet.
The
contractor
has
completed
17
million
of
the
42
million
dollar
project,
with
work
scheduled
to
finish
in
december
2023
on
the
west
side
of
biloxi.
The
city
received
bids
for
the
project
areas
adjacent
to
u.s,
90
from
the
bees
road
to
veterans
avenue.
The
city
awarded
the
contract
to
nikkei
brothers
construction
company
for
32
million.

project
has
a
duration
of
1080
calendar
days
and
a
notice
to
proceed
with
construction
is
scheduled
for
july
5th,
and
please

traveling
near
these
construction
areas,
reduce
your
speed
and
be
alert
for
changing
conditions
to
find
out
what
lanes
and
roads
are
closed.
