Our
program
this
morning
will
begin
I'm
going
to
do
a
quick
review
of
the
programme
for
you
begin
with
the
national
anthem,
followed
by
a
welcome
by
the
mayor
opening
remarks
from
Bishop
Roger
Maureen
prayer,
Vic
prayer
for
the
victims
by
Reverend,
Eric
Dickey.
Reading
of
the
names
of
the
victims
of
Katrina
in
Biloxi
will
be
done
by
students
from
Biloxi
high
and
st.
Patrick
will
have
the
prayer
for
the
volunteers
from
Ashley
Austin
an
associate
pastor
at
First
Baptist
Church,
a
closing
prayer
by
John,
Jennings,
chaplain
and
deputy
chief
of
the
Biloxi
fire
department.
A
Then
we're
going
to
have
a
special
closing
song
by
Ronnie
Broussard.
It's
never
been
heard
before
in
public,
it's
written
after
he
left
this
ceremony
last
year.
He
was
moved
to
to
write
the
song
so
to
begin
the
program,
I
would
ask
everyone
to
stand
when
Ronnie
Broussard
moves
forward
to
seeing
the
national
anthem.

C
We
gather
here
today
to
remember
what
we
have
been
through,
how
far
we've
come
and
most
of
all,
I
fall.
We
gather
to
remember
those
who
were
lost
in
Katrina.
We
must
never
forget.
May
God
continue
to
bless
all
of
you
unless
the
people
of
blocks
and
a
Pacific
Gulf
Coast
and
may
all
the
victims
in
Katrina
rest
in
peace.
D
Blessed
are
You
Heavenly,
Lord,
King
of
the
universe,
the
source
of
every
good
gift.
We
give
you
thanks
for
the
gift
of
life
for
the
gift
of
this
day
and
the
gift
of
this
time
together
in
prayer,
we
gather
to
remember
a
time
of
fear,
loss
and
sadness,
but
still
we
come
together
to
praise
you
Lord,
we
memorialize
those
who
lost
their
lives
in
Hurricane
Katrina,
and
we
plead
for
those
who
still
labor
under
the
stress
and
strain
of
that
disaster.
D
E
E
Heavenly
Father,
we
with
falls
at
this
hour
to
reflect
upon
the
gift
of
life
father,
as
we
have
embraced
and
embarked
upon
this
moment.
We
exalt
your
name
because
you
spared
us
even
another
year
for
linen
storms,
thus
far
such
as
Katrina
and
father.
Right
now,
we
ask
that
you
were
strengthened
the
families,
the
loved
ones
who
life
has
been
invaded
by
the
ranks
of
death,
calls
them
to
be
lost
through
this
travesty
of
a
storm
such
as
Katrina
father.
E
We
pause
to
tell
you
that
these
are
our
unsung
heroes,
that
their
lives
were
not
death
caused
in
vain.
We
I
so
God
that
you
would
lift
this
up
right
now,
bridges
closer
together
that
one
will
not
fall
without
the
other.
One
bless
this
community
Lord
as
we
go
forward
to
commemorate
six
years
of
life
that
has
been
invaded
by
Norma,
see
we
pray
Lord
that,
as
we
regain,
knew
Norma
see
that
our
minds,
our
hearts,
will
reflect
upon
those
on
the
northeast
coast
that
also
have
lost
lives.
E
A
F
G
H
I
J
Let's
pray
together,
father
God
in
the
midst
of
great
destruction,
in
the
midst
of
great
despair,
you've
been
a
God
of
restoration
and
you've
been
a
god,
who's
been
restoring
all
things
and
father.
We
want
to
thank
you
for
the
volunteers
that
you
have
sent
to
our
community
father.
We
know
men
and
women
have
come
from
from
all
over
our
our
great
country
and
literally
all
over
the
world
that
make
great
sacrifices
to
come
alongside
us
and
and
help
us
rebuild
homes
and
help
us
rebuild
lives
and
help
us
rebuild
our
community
other.
J
They
came
because
you
called
them.
They
came
because
there
are
people
of
great
love
and
great
compassion
and
father.
We
want
to
thank
you
for
them
and
father
as
you
continue
to
bring
volunteers
this
way.
We
want
to
thank
you
for
the
ones
that
continue
to
come
and
father.
We
pray
that
you'd
continue
to
provide
the
resources,
the
manpower
of
the
financial
resources,
the
vision,
the
leadership,
the
direction
that's
necessary
for
our
community
to
be
the
best
community
that
it
can
be
father.
J
A
K
Father
is
good
that
we
pause
again
to
give
you
glory
and
thanks.
We
thank
you
for
all
the
many
blessing
us
pisode
on
each
of
us,
especially
as
we
take
time
out
of
our
day
on
this
anniversary
to
remember
to
reflect.
We
thank
you
for
the
blessings
used
to
stow
upon
us,
as
we
look
forward
to
the
future
we
heck
and
help,
but
know
that
people
are
still
recovering
financially,
spiritually
and
mentally
bless
your
blessing
upon
each
of
them
and
their
families.
We
ask
your
blessing,
is
constant
blessing
upon
all
of
our
emergency
services.
K
Workers
we're
brother
and
sister.
Firefighters
are
police
officers
in
all
EMS
and
public
servants
who
worked
so
hard
and
diligently
to
do.
Your
will
help
us
never
to
forget
how
truly
privileged
we
are
to
earn
our
living
by
serving
you
through
our
service
to
others.
We
love
you
lord,
and
we
hope
they
would
never
disappoint
you.
Can
we
ask
your
praise
and
glory
always
and
your
heavenly
name?
We
pray,
amen.
A
Thank
You
chief
before
I
call
forward
Ronnie
Broussard,
with
his
closing
song
I
wanted
to
acknowledge
a
couple
other
people
that
I
overlooked
earlier:
first
Macklin
Holloway's
first
lady
of
Biloxi
good
morning
also
joining
us.
This
morning,
a
state
senator
tom
king,
the
king
of
the
road
and
councilman
Bill
Stallworth,
is
joined
us
mornin
councilman
and
to
close
our
program
this
morning.
I
would
now
call
forward
mr.
A
L
Thank
you
before
I
sing,
the
song
and
I'd
like
to
cough.
So
that's
done.
I'd
also
like
to
dedicate
this
song,
if
I
could
to
all
the
citizens
of
Biloxi,
past
and
present
and
future
and
to
Mayor,
AJ
Holloway
and
your
lovely
wife
and
family,
and
to
everybody
in
your
office.
Brenda
and
Bill
and
I
cannot
forget
Vincent
krill,
who
has
always
been
so
very
nice
to
me
and
one
of
the
last
times
I
spoke
to
Vincent
on
the
phone.
I
thanked
him
for
inviting
me
to
this
event
and
vincent
said:
ronnie.
We
thank
you.
