From YouTube: Saenger gift
Description
The City of Biloxi received a generous gift today. Retired Air Force Col. Jack Moelmann of O'Fallon, Ill., near St. Louis, Mo., was involved in the restoration of the Saenger Theater in 1978, and now he's interested in seeing the downtown Biloxi theater returned to its original grandeur.

Gwen
Gallatin
somewhere,
and
she
says
you
need
to
get
involved
in
the
Saenger
theater
I'd
seen
the
sanger
theater
didn't
know
too
much
about
it,
and
so
I
got
involved
with
her
about
1976
I,
guess
I
was
on
their
board
of
directors
and
I
emptied
trash
and
I.
Don't
know,
I
did
almost
everything
and
got
the
lighting
up
and
and
because
I
I'm
a
organist
as
a
hobby
and
the
theater
organist
and
I've
seen
a
lot
of
the
great
theaters
across
the
country
and
I
knew
this.

B
We
raised
money
we
had
shows
and
everything
the
last
my
going
away
in
1978
I
had
open
to
the
people
free
concert
here.
I
had
to
bring
in
my
organ
into
the
theater,
but
we
filled
the
place
two
nights
and
an
afternoon
they
had
the
air
force
band
here,
as
well
as
the
piece
of
male
chorus.
Silent
movie,
sing-along
words
on
the
screen
two
and
a
half
hour
show
with
to
a
full
theater
and
fact
I've
got
the
recordings
of
that.
C
No,
this
is
tremendous
for
us
and
it
will
bring
to
bring
the
attention
that
you
know
the
love
that
you
have
for
the
Sanger,
and
you
know,
especially
from
a
musician's
standpoint.
This
is
a
great
place
and
we're
looking
forward
to
to
you
know
many
more
years
of
this
as
a
as
a
true
part
of
Biloxi.
Thank.
