D
C
Thank
you,
mr
president,
I
would
like
to
make
a
motion
to
approve
the
minutes
from
the
july
6
2022
business
meeting
and
the
july
11
2022
special
business
meeting.
A
President,
all
in
favor
aye
aye
anyone
opposed
okay.
Thank
you
for
that.
We
now
need
to
set
a
public
hearing
for
our
next
business
meeting.
Mr
clerk,
could
you
read
that
into
the
record
and
give
people
that
information.
D
This
public
hearing
will
take
place
during
the
next
regular
city
council
business
meeting
at
6
p.m.
On
wednesday
august
3rd
2022,
virtually
via
zoom
residents
wishing
to
submit
comments,
may
do
so
electronically
by
emailing
their
comments
prior
to
1pm
on
the
day
of
the
meeting
to
clerk
at
cityofbinghamton.com
or
virtually
via
zoom.
During
the
meeting
for
any
questions,
please
contact
the
city,
clerk's
office.
A
Okay,
thank
you
for
that.
That
will
be
the
next
meeting.
We
will
now
move
into
our
public
comments
section
of
our
meeting
and
I've
already
talked
to
the
clerk's
office
and
they
did
not
receive
any
electronic
communication
as
of
one
o'clock
today
or
or
even
before
the
meeting.
So
we
will
go
to
public
comment,
mr
clerk,
to
tell
people
they
can
participate.
Please.
D
A
Okay,
I
do
not
see
any
attendees
in
the
meeting
or
anybody
with
their
hand
up,
so
we
will
we'll
end
public
comment
and
we'll
move
on
in
our
agenda.
A
D
D
D
C
E
F
A
Okay,
moving
right
along,
we
will
go
to
our
communication
from
our
from
our
colleagues
each
other
second
meeting
of
july.
We
will
start
in
district
two
and
council
one
thank.
C
You
so
much,
I
don't
really
have
any
comments.
I
just
want
to
say:
please
stay
warm
or
not
warm
stay
cool
in
this
crazy
heat
that
we're
having
and
just
a
quick
shout
out
to
dpw
for
all
the
work
that
they're
doing
in
this
heat,
so
they're
out
there
just
taking
care
of
the
streets.
Thank
you
for
that.
Have
a
good
night.
A
Thank
you,
councilwoman
riley
is
absent.
I
will
say
that
my
understanding
is
that
it's
her
birthday.
So
in
her
absence
I
would
like
to
wish
councilwoman
riley
a
happy
birthday
for
the
record,
so
we
will
now
go
to
district
4
and
council
member
friedman.
E
Thank
you
president.
I
I
also
don't
have
too
much
to
report.
I
don't
think
I
have
yet
mentioned
officially
on
the
record
or
commented
on
the
record
about
the
binghamton
plaza,
which
it
was
mayor.
Kram
recently
announced
that
we
are
going
to
try
to
move
forward
with.
E
I
forget
the
exact
language,
but
basically
the
the
not
we're,
not
quite
the
at
the
eminent
domain
portion,
but
we're
moving
forward
toward
making
sure
that
that
plaza
is
no
longer
the
the
eyesore
that
it
has
been
for
so
long,
and
the
other
thing
I
wanted
to
mention
was
that
national
night
out
happens
and
the
first
tuesday
in
august,
which
I
believe
is
august
2nd.
E
So
there
are
some
community
members,
organizing
that
there's
going
to
be
organizations
tabling
probably
free
food
and
drinks
and
snacks
and
things
so
I
will
not
be
able
to
attend,
but
I
wanted
to
give
a
shout
out
because
one
of
the
locations
is
sherry
lindsey
park,
which
is
in
the
fourth
district
and
yeah
stay
cool.
That's
all
I've
got.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you.
We
now
go
to
district
5
and
councilman
burns.
F
Aldridge
street
is
completed,
that
was
very
nice
and
now
they're
working
on
pennsylvania
avenue
by
weiss
all
the
way
up
to
the
city
line.
It
looks
like
so
it's
everybody,
I
hope,
is
patient
with
all
the
work
going
on
mary
street
has
begun,
they've
delivered
all
of
the
equipment
for
the
new
storm
drains,
etc.
F
People
had
a
lot
of
questions
for
him
and
he
he
had
all
the
answers,
and
so
it
went
very
well
and
we
had
talked
to
him
about.
We
have
a
concert
once
a
month
over
at
the
commons
on
south
washington
street
there
and
we'd
been
having
some
problems
and
before
the
concerts
when
we
were
trying
to
get
ready,
and
he
made
sure
that
there
was
a
police
presence
there
and
help
us
get
to
get
the
thing
ready.
F
F
B
A
Okay,
thank
you.
I
don't
have
much
either
stay
cool.
I
will
just
mention
if
anybody's
out
there
listening,
councilman
birds
mentioned
mary
street
they're,
doing
it
spanning
the
fifth
and
sixth
district.
But
if
you
happen
to
be
coming
off,
434
on
the
mary
street
be
careful
because
it's
sometimes
it's
totally
closed.
Sometimes
it's
open,
but
there's
a
backhoe
there
and
really
it's
only
one
lane
when
it
is
open
right
now,
so
just
be
careful
if
you're
in
that
area
of
the
numerabido
down
at
the
bottom
of
of
mary
street.
A
It's
navigable
sometimes
and
not
others,
but
it
looks
like
they're
doing
a
great
job
and
we
look
forward
to
that
work
being
done.
So
with
that,
I
will
take
a
motion
to
adjourn.
