A
A
Thank
you
yeah.
We
have
public
comment
time.
Is
there
anyone
who
would
like
to
address
the
council
for
up
to
three
minutes?
Okay,
seeing
none
we'll
move
right
to
the
change
order.
Number
two
are
one
for
the
pepsi
iced
center
and
just
as
a
as
you
may
have
gathered
from
the
information
you've
had
as
we
started
to
get
into
the
project.
We
have
had
more
and
better
information
and
we
continue
as
we
continue
to
learn
more.
C
You
mayor
and
once
again
it
we
just
want
to
appreciate
you
coming.
We
know
that
we've
got
other
activities
come
Friday
and
media
next
money,
but
time
truly
is
of
the
essence.
You
know
I
just
want
to
give
some
some
compliments.
Structural
preservation
systems
has
been
they
mobilized.
They've
got
crews.
There
they've
been
doing
a
lot
of
work
to
move
this
project
along
in
a
very
expeditious
manner.
They've
also
brought
to
our
attention
very
significant
potential,
cost-saving
recommendation.
C
As
you
read
through
the
material
it
deals
with
trying
to
shore
up
strengthen
the
existing
TT,
rather
than
remove
that
and
install
a
new
and
next
spring.
As
the
original
plan,
we've
had
not
only
Alex
McElroy,
as
well
as
john
johnston
from
our
staff,
and
then
oldham
lay
with
Kyle
Spanish,
with
Walker
restoration
review.
C
This
proposal
bet
it
make
sure
that
is
this,
something
that
they
would
recommend,
and
especially
we
definitely
wanted
Kyle
here
tonight,
but
both
Walker
restoration
recommends
this
as
a
very
feasible
way
to
not
only
shorten
the
time
frame
to
complete
the
project,
but
also
to
save
approximately
fifty
seven
thousand
dollars
with
this
measure.
As
you
will
note,
though,
in
the
change
order,
it
is
partially
being
offset
with
about
thirty
nine
thousand
dollars
of
epoxy
injection.
This
was
work
that
had
to
be
done
once
they
identified
and
discovered
it.
C
So
it
is
something
we
can
talk
about
tonight,
but,
like
I
say
we
we
are
recommending
this
change
order
it.
Ultimately
it
still
is
a
net
savings.
If
you
were
to
approve
this,
but
we
have
Kyle
Standish
from
Walker
restoration
here,
structural
engineer,
as
well
as
any
of
our
staff.
That
could
also
answer
any
aspects
of
this
change
orders.
So
with
that
Mayor
I'll
turn
it
back
to
you
and
the
council
for
any.
E
E
Structural
capacity
we
I
will
I
will
and
have
four
tuned
to
review
the
plan
that
they
put
together
make
sure
it's
designed
to
take
the
loads
that
the
architecture
is
designed
for,
so
it
will
meet
the
code,
require
the
code
requirement,
so
it
from
a
structural
viewpoint.
It's
not
an
issue.
Structural
preservation
system
is
a
contractor's,
a
experienced
contractor
and
they
brought
some
things
to
it.
E
That
can
show
me
that
it'll
take
the
it'll
match
the
life
of
the
remaining
the
other
parts
of
the
structure,
so
it
will
be
a
long-lasting
repair
and
there
should
be
nothing
else
that
needed
to
that
you've
done
to
it.
Besides
what
we
normal
maintenance
for
the
parks
and
structure
you
would
expect
for
over
the
life
of
destruction
can.
C
E
E
E
However,
again
after
work
working
through
some
of
the
issues,
some
things
that
structural
brought
to
it
because
of
their
experience
with
similar
types
of
projects,
those
concerns
were
I,
was
able
to
work
parcels
concern,
so
it
was
something
that
was
yet
considered
from
the
beginning
as
a
possibility.
It's
not
a
completely
new
approach,
but
it
is
something
that
you
know
when
we
brought
in
structural
has
expertise
and
their
experience,
combined
with
mine,
was
able
to
come
up
with
a
good
long,
lasting
solution.
Okay,.
A
A
Motion
to
approve
the
change
orders
presented,
move
by
alderman
black.
Is
there
a
second
second
second
by
all
the
woman
Schmidt
any
further
discussion
or
questions?
Oh,
and
thank
you
actually
again
to
our
staff
and
mr.
Standish
and
to
city
manager,
David
Hales.
Obviously
we
make
sure
that
we're
not
protecting
the
public,
but
at
this
point
we're
pretty
able
to
protect
the
public,
we're
going
to
get
it
done
more
quickly
and
we're
going
to
save
money.
It's
kind
of
like
win-win-win
right
so
mayor.
C
If
I
could
also
say
to
it,
I
think
you
can
have
some
comfort.
Kyle
does
come
down
on
a
regular
basis,
accompanied
with
some
of
our
staff
and
making
inspections
evaluating
the
work.
So
we
have
some
very
great
construction
observation
inspection
going
on
yet
to
review
the
work
being
done
by
structural.
So
and
as
mayor
as
you
mentioned
it
with
approval
of
this,
we
should
be
able
to
open
the
entire
parking
garage
by
December
December
twentieth
of
the
latest
at
very
latest,
maybe
even
sooner
than
that.
So
we.
