A
A
Thank
you
very
much
at
this
point.
We're
going
to
start
with
our
recognitions
and
proclamations
in
the
first
is
a
proclamation
recognizing
the
100th
anniversary
of
the
National
Easter
Seals
organization,
as
well
as
that,
of
course,
of
Easter,
Seals,
central
Illinois
and
I.
Believe
Kathy
Olsen
is
here
to
receive
the
approximation.
If
you
come
forward.
A
Welcome
everybody
good
to
see
you
this
proclamation
recognizing
the
100th
anniversary
of
the
National
Easter
Seals
organization,
as
well
as
that
of
Easter
Seals
central
Illinois,
whereas
in
1919
a
group
of
dedicated
volunteers
in
central
illinois
gathered
together
to
meet
the
needs
of
children
in
our
community
with
disabilities
and
whereas
in
1948
the
easter
seals
expanded
its
child.
Children's
focused
mission
by
offering
residential
camp
for
children
with
disabilities
at
calf
Heffernan
on
Lake
Bloomington
and
whereas,
since
in
its
in
it.
Since
its
inception.
Excuse
me.
Easter.
A
Excuse
me,
corporations,
foundations
and
other
sectors
to
provide
or
connect
individuals
and
families
to
early
intervention
and
childhood
education
services,
autism,
spectrum
disorders,
services,
mental
health
services,
respite
camping
and
recreation
and
caregiving
supports,
and
whereas
Easter
Seals
continues.
The
mission
and
commitment
to
service
envisioned
by
its
founder,
who
concluded
that
quote
your
life
and
mine,
shall
be
valued
not
by
what
we
take,
but
by
what
we
give
unquote.
A
Now,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
that
the
city
of
Bloomington
recognizes
Easter
Seals
and
its
impact
over
the
last
100
years
in
the
lives
of
families
in
and
around
Bloomington
and
central
Illinois,
for
its
commitment
to
expanding
possibilities
for
children
with
disabilities
to
ensure
that
every
one
of
us
can
live,
learn,
work
and
play
in
our
communities
and
embraces
a
vision
that
all
people
with
disabilities
and
their
caregivers
and
families
will
be
100%
included
and
100%
empowered.
Thank
you
very
much.
C
Thank
you,
Mary
mayor
runner
and
the
Bloomington
City
Council,
for
recognizing
this
momentous
milestone
and
in
the
history
of
Easter
Seals
central
Illinois,
as
well
as
our
national
organization
and
I,
would
just
love
to
invite
everyone
here
in
the
room
to
join
us
on
Saturday
July
13th.
We
have
one
of
our
Easter
Seals
champions
here
and
we
will
be
celebrating
a
walk
with
champions
at
is
use
Hancock
stadium
at
8:30
a.m.
on
Saturday,
July,
13th
and
we'd
love
to
see
you
out
there
to
see
what
we're
all
about.
Thank
you
very
much.
A
A
Some
two
and
a
half
years
to
June
19
1865
in
reaching
authorities
and
african-americans
in
the
south
and
southwestern
states,
and
whereas
Emancipation
Day
observations
are
held
in
different
days
in
different
states
in
the
south
and
southwest
and
in
other
parts
of
the
nation.
And
whereas
June
19th
has
a
special
meaning
to
African
Americans
and
is
called
Juneteenth,
combining
the
words
June
and
19th
and
has
been
celebrated
by
our
the
African
American
community
for
over
150
years.
A
And
whereas
the
annual
Juneteenth
celebration
in
the
city
of
Manhattan
will
take
place
in
Miller
Park
on
June
22nd
2019.
Now,
therefore,
I
terror
in
mayor
of
the
city
of
Bloomington
do
hereby
issue
this
Proclamation
in
celebration
of
Juneteenth
in
the
city
of
Bloomington
and
urge
all
citizens
to
become
more
aware
of
its
significance.
Of
this
celebration
in
african-american
history
and
the
entire
heritage
of
our
nation
and
our
city,
thank
you
so
much.
Congratulations!.
D
We
want
to
thank
the
city
of
Bloomington
to
the
mayor
and
to
all
the
members
of
the
council
and
to
the
community
of
bloomington-normal.
We
want
to
invite
you
to
the
celebration
that
would
be
held
on
Saturday
June,
the
22nd
from
11:30
to
4:30,
and
it
be
held
in
Miller
Park
I
do
want
to
share
that.
We
have
people
coming
from
all
over
mid
Illinois
and
to
really
Kansas
many
states
that
were
becoming
to
celebrate
in
song,
dance
speeches,
african-american
art.
We
want
the
entire
community
to
come
out
and
celebrate
with
us.
D
They
took
a
time
that
would
be
shocking.
If
you
found
out
that
two
and
a
half
years
you
could
have
been
free
and
all
of
a
sudden
to
find
out
that
you
were
free,
they
took
that
experience
instead
of
instead
of
reflecting
negatively
on
it.
They've
made
it
a
celebration,
a
celebration
of
heritage
and
of
joy,
and
we
started
this
here
in
Bloomington
Normal
area
back
in
1993
and
somehow
it
kind
of
fell
off
the
map.
D
Well,
the
McClain
County
Historical
Society
Bloomington
Normal
Black
History
project
brought
it
back
to
life
this
year
and
it
is
our
hope
and
our
desire
that
this
will
not
ever
again
die
off
I
prepared
packets
for
each
of
you
to
review
we're
hoping
that
you
will
consider
this
year.
The
community
have
donated
and
made
a
large
amount
of
donations
financially
to
ensure
that
this
would
take
place,
but
we're
hoping
for
the
next
few
years.
We
want
to
keep
it
going
for
2020
and
especially
2021,
because
it
would
actually
be
on
June
19.
D
So
if
you
will
consider
it
the
pavilion
right
now,
we
at
Miller
Park,
but
if
it
rains
we
might
be
in
a
little
trouble,
but
we're
hoping
that
you
will
allow
us
they
have
the
pavilion
and
would
make
that
thousand
dollars
are
going
towards
that
and
to
waive
the
fee.
I
think
we
had
talked
about
that,
so
we
can
least
hold
that
date
and
would
not
be
taken
by
someone
else.
So
with
that,
we
thank
you
for
your
consideration
and
we
hope
to
see
you
all
out
there.
A
A
We
led
the
Midwest
in
the
country
by
the
way,
just
as
an
editorial
comment,
whereas
local
members
of
the
LGBTQIA
community
and
their
supporters
have
openly
worked
toward
making
the
Bloomington
Normal
community
a
more
welcoming,
inclusive
and
safe
environment
for
everyone,
regardless
of
their
sexual
orientation
or
gender
identity,
and
whereas
this
work
has
enabled
members
of
the
local
society
I'll
pull
it
back.
For
you
excuse
me,
whereas
this
work
has
enabled
members
of
the
local
LGTBQ
IA
community
to
live
openly
in
bloomington-normal
as
their
authentic
selves.
A
Therefore,
I
mayor
Tara,
vender
city
of
the
book
of
the
mayor
of
the
city
of
Bloomington
issue,
this
Proclamation
to
commemorate
the
50th
anniversary
of
the
Stonewall
riots
and
the
resultant
modern
gay
rights
movement
that
has
about
greater
equality
for
the
LGBTQ
ia
communities.
I
congratulate
the
Prairie
pride
coalition
and
the
local
LGTBQ
ia
community
for
its
efforts
and
encourage
all
of
us
to
support
the
work
that
has
made
our
community
a
better
place
to
live
for
all.
Thank
you.
So
much.
E
This
picnic
originated
in
1997
as
a
place
for
people
to
go,
who
could
not
go
happily
to
their
own
biological
family
reunions?
We
would
also
like
to
invite
you
to
the
big
celebration
later
on
in
the
end
of
July
that
will
be
in
downtown
Bloomington
as
well.
Just
like
last
year,
where
we
had
over
a
thousand
people
there
and
the
policeman
I
talked
to
said
it
was
one
of
the
best
behaved
crowds
he'd
ever
worked.
F
A
A
A
Recognition,
central
Illinois
amateur
radio
field,
day,
June,
22nd
and
23rd,
whereas
amateur
radio
operators
are
celebrating
over
a
quarters
or
seating
over
a
century
of
the
miracle
of
the
human
voice
broadcast
over
the
airwaves
and
whereas
amateur
radio
has
continued
to
provide
a
bridge
between
people's
societies
in
countries
by
creating
friendships
and
the
sharing
of
ideas.
And
whereas
amateur
radio
operators
have
also
brought
provided
countless
hours
of
community
services,
both
in
emergencies
and
to
local
organizations
throughout
the
decades.
A
And
whereas
these
amateur
radio
services
are
provided
wholly
uncompensated
and
whereas
the
state
also
recognizes
the
services.
Amateur
radios.
People
have
provided
too
many
emergency
response
organizations,
including
the
Red
Cross
of
the
Heartland
and
McLean
County
Emergency
Management
Association,
and
whereas
these
same
individuals
have
further
demonstrated
their
value
in
public
assistance
by
providing
free
radio
communications
for
local
parades,
bicth,
ons,
walkathons
fairs
and
other
charitable
public
events.
And
whereas
the
state
of
illinois
recognizes
and
appreciates
the
diligence
of
these
hams,
who
also
serve
as
weather
spotters
in
Skywarn.
A
G
G
The
main
purpose
of
field
day
is
to
practice
setting
up
and
operating
in
the
event
of
an
emergency.
An
estimated
40,000
people
in
the
US
and
Canada
will
participate.
It
is
also
a
contest
to
make
as
many
contacts
as
possible
in
a
24
hour
period,
the
central
Illinois
Radio
Club
will
be
setting
up
and
operating.
During
this
event,
the
public
is
invited
to
come
out
and
see
how
we
set
up
and
operate
in
the
event
of
an
emergency
situation.
G
Central
Illinois
radio
Club
will
be
setting
up
at
the
old
Town
Township
Hall
north
of
downs.
That's
just
off
from
Chaney
Grove
Road
about
three
miles:
east
of
Towanda
barns.
All
of
you
on
the
City
Council
are
invited
to
come
out
and
check
out
what
we
do
as
well
as
general
public
in
as
well,
and
to
see
how
we
set
up
and
operate
and
communicate
with
the
rest
of
the
country,
and
we
also
get
an
extra
of
extra
bonus
for
elected
officials
that
come
out
and
sign
in
our
book.
Thank
you
all
very
much.
H
A
A
I
Thank
You
mayor
Renner
and
City
Council
and
Jim
for
affording
me
the
opportunity
to
go
to
this
training
I
just
want
to
say
that
all
the
training
you
receive
wouldn't
be
wouldn't
be
useful.
If
you
didn't
have
the
people
in
your
ploys
to
accept
it
and
willing
to
change
it,
so
our
public
works
department
has
a
great
set
of
employees
and
just
really
want
to
give
them
credit
for
accepting
the
new
ideas
did
I
bring
back
from
this
training.
So
thank
you.
Thank.
A
Next,
we
have
Bloomington
101
graduates
in
Bloomington,
101
I,
see
you
quite
a
few
of
you
here
and
I
know
that
some
of
you,
as
I,
see
from
my
list
are
not
going
to
be
able
to
be
here,
but
I
will
go
ahead
and
read
your
names
anyway,
and
these
are
in
alphabetical
order.
So
there
are
no
particular
order
and
I
do
apologize
in
advance.
I
know,
I
have
read
your
names
before
and
I
know.
In
a
couple
cases,
I
have
butchered
them
in
the
past,
so
I
apologize
in
advance.
A
For
that
and
please
correct
me
as
you
come
to
the
microphone
if
I
mispronounce
your
name,
if
you're
not
here,
to
hear
me
mispronounce
your
name,
that's:
okay,
okay!
So
we're
gonna
start
with
Jessica
Ackley
Jessica!
Are
you
come
on
down?
The
price
might
not
be
right,
but
I
have
a
proclamation
Jessica.
Okay,
thank
you.
Jessica
will
hold
the
collective
applause.
If
it's
okay
to
the
very
end,
edie
bright,
Weiser,
I,
understand
it's
not
going
to
be
able
to
be
with
us.
A
F
A
A
A
If
you
will
of
a
brain
trust,
I
suppose
for
our
possible
boards
and
commissions,
people
who
have
learned
a
fair
amount
about
our
city,
and
so
we
very
much
appreciate
that
and
appreciate
your
all
of
your
participation.
Thank
you
again
at
this
point.
We
have
public
comment
and
I'm
going
to
grab
my
I
think
we
I,
because
we
have
more
than
10
individuals
I'm
going
to
ask
that
you
I'm,
going
to
read
these
in
groups
of
three
and
I'm
going
to
ask
that
you
come
up
and
if
you're
repeating
something
that
someone
has
said.
A
If
you
could
make
your
points
as
succinctly
as
possible,
if
you
want
to
get
direct
answers
from
public
officials,
you
can
there's
often
an
ultimate
or
along
with
me,
and
certainly
one
of
the
members
of
the
staff
at
the
mayor's
open
house,
which
is
typically
4:30
to
5:30
on
Friday
before
a
regular,
City
Council
meeting.
So
essentially
we
have
the
equivalent
of
a
town-hall
meeting
every
two
weeks.
A
A
J
So
I
just
want
to
get
to
the
point
of
the
matter
at
hand.
What
occurred
on
the
digital
landscape
not
that
long
ago,
and
how
alderman
coreos
actions
are
setting
up
a
dangerous
precedent
for
the
future
of
Bloomington
and
especially
in
the
businesses
in
Bloomington
as
a
whole.
For
those
who
were
unaware,
alderman
Correa
took
it
upon
herself
to
begin
an
online
harassment
campaign
against
the
freshly
announced
new
business
venture
in
the
downtown
Bloomington
area,
which
lies
in
her
ward.
The
question
at
hand
was
the
appropriateness
of
the
business
name.
J
The
establishment,
formerly
known
as
the
gypsy
room,
received
a
wonderful
right
upon
the
Bloomington
Normal
restaurant
scene,
Facebook
page
and
from
personal
experience.
I
know
that
it
is
a
boon
to
any
new
business
to
get
the
attention
of
20
K
plus
followers
of
that
page.
Instead,
what
happened
was
the
the
most
inappropriate
behavior
from
a
public
official.
J
We
have
seen
in
some
time
an
online
harassment
campaign
led
by
alderman
Carillo,
with
a
hashtag
boycott
of
the
establishment
ensued
in
no
way
shape
or
form
are
the
small
business
owners
of
Bloomington
and,
in
particular,
Ward
6,
going
to
stand
by
and
allow
this
behavior
from
their
own
representative.
You
are
in
public
server
to
down,
and
your
activist
past
is
no
longer
appropriate
to
bring
into
your
position.
You
represent
all
the
people
in
your
ward
and
frankly
in
the
city
as
well,
and
that
includes
the
business
owners
too.
J
It
is
absolutely
shameful
and
very
telling
of
your
inexperience
that
you
so
willingly
attack
the
business
owned
by
two
women,
especially
one
in
the
hospitality
industry
in
which
women
struggle
to
make
their
mark
and
take
their
place.
This
is
why
your
intersectional
and
identitarian
politics
will
never
work
in
the
end.
There
are
too
many
boxes
to
defend
and
they
begin
to
conflict
with
each
other
and
eat
each
other
alive
when
you
try
to
shove
them
all
together
forcefully.
J
When
you
use
a
fist
to
convince
people
of
your
beliefs
and
ideas
over
an
open
hand,
you
will
never
succeed.
All
you
will
do
is
join
the
heap
of
oppressive
individuals
who
always
get
taken
down
in
the
end
right
now,
alderman
Carillo,
you
are
the
fist
and
you
need
to
be
held
accountable
for
your
actions
and
you
will
hear
more
of
the
downtown
business
owners
demands
and
our
meeting
with
you
tomorrow.
I
also
would
like
to
extend
the
invitation
to
anyone
on
the
council
to
participate
in
the
meeting
tomorrow
night
at
6
p.m.
J
it
will
be
hosted
by
Jan
Lancaster
at
the
Bistro
downtown.
I
would
like
to
preface
that
at
this
point
no
other
members
of
the
city,
government,
chamber,
commerce
or
any
of
the
other
entities
that
I
have
informed
about
this
situation
are
being
held
in
the
same
light
as
alderman
Carrillo
and
her
actions.
But
if
you
choose
to
ignore
this,
how
can
you
blame
the
citizens,
and
especially
the
small
business
owners
of
Bloomington,
for
seeing
you
as
a
danger
to
the
community
as
well?
K
K
Well,
they
found
who
it
was,
and
that
has
now
been
well
closed
until
and
I
mean
something
could
happen
that
they
did
find
the
people
that
did
it
I'm
sure
it's
closure
for
Trayvon's
mother,
who
is
also
very
active,
that
I
want
to
give
the
police
department
and
police
chief
wheeler
a
lot
of
kudos.
It's
not
easy
being
police,
but
if
they
do
the
job
and
I
think
Sharon
Bloomington,
they
do
a
very
good
job
of
it.
K
We
welcome
anyone
that
wants
to
come
there
and
wants
to
come
there
to
help
who
wants
to
come
there
and
be
included
in
the
decision.
We
do
not
need
some
of
the
things
that
have
been
going
on.
The
last
few
weeks
we
need
help
and
we
need
everyone
to
have
a
voice,
and
he
had
asked
city
manager,
chief
wheeler
and
mr.
Taylor,
the
president
of
our
board,
to
come
with
three
words
and
those
three
words
are:
what
do
you
want
to
see?
What's
important
to
you
in
that
choice,
going
forward.
K
It's
at
the
City
of
Refuge
Church
at
six
o'clock.
It's
on
the
city
website
and
we've
been
lucky
most
of
the
stakeholders
that
originally
helped
to
get
this
set
up
have
been
coming
and
what
they
have
come
up
with
and
suggestions
we
have
implemented.
But
this
is
a
big
step.
We've
been
very
lucky
with
our
last
two
police
chase,
very
lucky,
hopefully
going
forward
we'll
have
the
same
luck,
but
this
is
also
your
chance
and
your
chance
to
have
something
to
say
about
it.
A
I'm
sorry,
it's
reading
your
time
is:
oh
okay!
Thank
you
very
much.
Next
Leon
cabe
and
then
D
urban
and
Bailey
Pontius.
L
L
Quite
hyperventilating
people
from
the
left
or
Center
left
all
across
the
nation
continually
to
just
get
really
frustrated
with
our
President
Trump,
but
the
things
that
he
tweets
and
talks
about
and
like
there's,
no
like
it's
so
brainless
but
seems
like
there's
more
than
one
person
of
mr.
Trump
around
this
world.
Unfortunately
I
think
we
have
one
in
the
community
mariner
I
want
to.
L
I
also
want
to
say
that
what
what
causes
me
I
guess,
the
great
displeasure
you
know,
there's
a
wise
saying,
someone
wrote
consider
what
a
great
force
to
set
on
fire
by
a
small
spark.
The
tongue
also
is
a
fire,
a
world
of
evil
among
the
parts
of
the
body
no
human
being
can
tame
the
tongue.
It
is
a
restless,
evil,
full
of
deadly
poison,
and
it
seems,
like
you
know,
I'm
guilty
of
it
at
times
too
I
miss
speaking.
L
But
when
you
have
a
mayor
position
or
a
leadership
position,
it's
got
to
come
with
accountability
and
I.
Guess
I
would
ask
the
council
here.
I
mean
it
really
doesn't
matter
here
what
we
say,
mr.
mayor
but
I'm
sure.
If
this
council
comes
in
an
executive,
commission
or
executive
order
and
tries
to
censor
and
again
sparks
will
fly
and
I
would
even
encourage
the
councilor
do
that
because
very
distasteful?
What
you
spoke
up
for
a
high
high
position
like
Clarence
Thomas.
Thank
you.
M
Thank
You
mayor
good
evening,
everyone
I,
am
D
Orban
and
I
live
over
in
Bloomington's
West
Side
I'm
a
very
happy
homeowner.
Now,
of
course,
we
all
know
what
that's
like
when
you
buy
a
house
and
you
have
to
fix
it,
any
of
you've
got
skills
and
electricity
come
on
and
I'll.
Let
you
take
some
practice.
We
need
to
get
that
working.
Needless
to
say,
my
heart
tonight
wants
to
reach
out
and
say:
Nora
duck
awaits
and
all
of
the
staff
from
the
city
of
Bloomington
that
put
together
the
Bloomington
101
for
us.
M
Ten
very
great
weeks
of
my
life,
I
learned
more
about
this
city
than
I
could
have
possibly
imagined.
I
came
away
from
Bloomington
101,
with
a
fresh
new
attitude
about
my
community
and
the
people
that
I
seek
to
serve.
What
you
might
not
know
is
I'm
actually
on
the
board
for
the
West
Bloomington
revitalization
project,
commonly
known
as
wbr
P,
so
I'm
already
doing
that
wonderful
thing
called
serving
on
board
and
what
I
would
like
to
make
sure
you're,
aware
of
is
that
our
West
Fest,
which
is
a
big
celebration
of
the
West
Side?
M
It's
coming
up
very
soon
on
June
29th
and
certainly
like
to
personally
invite
all
of
you
in
city
staff
to
come
out
and
join
us
see
what
Westside
is
about
and
why
we
put
our
hearts
into
the
West
Side
community.
Why?
Why
we
enjoy
our
lives
so
absolutely
invite
you
all
to
come
and
join
us.
Probably
get
you
a
little
free
something
while
you're
there
and
as
well
as
the
community
at
a
whole,
so
come
and
give
us
a
shout,
come
and
say
hello
to
us
and
see
what
we're
all
about.
M
And
then
you
can
check
out
the
Tool
Library
while
you're
there,
where
I
volunteer
two
hours
a
week
for
my
community.
So
thank
you
so
much
for
Bloomington
101
for
the
opportunity
to
serve
and
I
appreciate
everything
that
you
guys
do
as
well,
because
it's
not
easy
to
sit
in
your
position
and
that's
all
I
had
thanks.
A
N
Hi,
my
name
is
Bailey
I'm,
a
Kinect
mobility
writer
I
wanted
to
talk
about
the
service
and
why
I
feel
it
is
so
important
that
individuals
with
disabilities
be
on
the
connect
transit
board,
nothing
against
those
without
disabilities,
but
so
many
see
things
differently
than
those
with
disabilities.
Have
you
ever
boarded
a
bus
in
a
wheelchair?
N
What
do
you
think
would
happen
if
I
tried
to
board
one
of
those
buses
like
that
on
the
fixed
routes,
I'd
crash,
trying
to
get
get
off
the
curb,
so
a
few
accessible
stops.
I
can't
take
a
chance
on
riding
a
fixed
route.
Bus
I
rely
on
connect
to
mobility,
due
to
my
being
in
a
rehab
facility
for
up
to
two
years
for
physical
and
occupational
therapy.
My
SSI,
which
is
my
only
income,
has
dropped
to
$30
a
month.
A
bus
passes
$65
a
month,
I'm
sure
you
can
do
that.
N
Math
I
don't
have
enough
income
to
even
afford
a
bus
pass
if
it
weren't
for
my
mom
and
dad
and
help
from
friends
and
family
I
wouldn't
be
able
to
do
it.
I
don't
want
to
have
to
rely
on
their
help.
I
shouldn't
have
to
this.
Is
public
transportation
we're
talking
about?
If
you
don't
use
a
wheelchair,
you
can
only
guess
or
imagine
the
difficulty.
N
Someone
in
a
wheelchair,
someone
with
other
disabilities
needs
to
be
a
voice
on
the
board
again,
nothing
against
those
who
are
able-bodied
but
I
want
someone
with
disabilities
to
be
the
one
to
speak
for
those
of
us
with
disabilities.
They
know
the
struggle
and
believe
me,
the
struggle
is
real
about
raising
the
price
of
a
bus
pass.
Please
don't
there
are
so
many
who
are
also
only
getting
$30
a
month
out
of
the
disability.
How
do
you
expect
everyone
to
afford
it?
I,
don't
know
how
it
is
thought
the
number
of
riders
will
increase.
N
I,
don't
know
how
it
it
is,
thought
that
your
writers
at
the
lowest
income
levels
will
be
able
to
afford
a
pass.
Please
help
me
understand
to
best
serve
the
bloomington-normal
community
to
best
serve
those
who
don't
have
a
vehicle
driver's
license
or
the
ability
to
walk
or
ride
a
bicycle
to
serve
those
in
need.
Please
strongly
consider
a
no
fare
needed
free
public
transportation
system,
don't
take
away
routes
and
appoint
board
members
who
have
disabilities.
Thank
you.
Thank.
O
Hi,
my
name
is
Angie
bridge
I
have
emailed
all
of
you
this
past
week,
I've
heard
from
two
of
you,
so
thank
you,
I'm,
going
to
give
an
abbreviated
version
of
that.
So
we
can
have
it
on
record
for
everyone.
The
proposed
changes
to
connect,
transit
routes
and
fares
will
negatively
affect
our
community.
O
Riders
are
counted
each
time
they
board
a
bus
not
for
each
trip.
This
is
a
very
unfair
way
to
count
writers
who
use
the
olive
route.
The
majority
of
their
trips
can
be
reached
without
a
transfer.
Other
routes
require
up
to
three
transfers,
meaning
one
route
can
count
as
six
riders.
Also
ridership
numbers
that
are
being
used
in
the
recent
reports
were
taken
when
many
of
our
elderly
and
disabled
were
not
venturing
out
as
much
October
through
February.
Due
to
the
weather
alone,
ridership
will
generally
be
down.
O
What
would
the
numbers
look
like
if
you
do
them
from
spring?
To
fall?
I
am
a
mom
of
a
child
who
has
an
ID
with
the
disabled
designation,
which
would
obviously
be
very
cost-effective
for
us
to
use
a
fixed
route
bus.
However,
my
son
Bailey,
who
you
met,
is
paralyzed
and
wheelchair-bound
due
to
the
severe
lack
of
accessible
stops
on
fixed-route
and
due
to
the
transit
time
being
capped
by
the
ad.
A
multiple
transfers
are
not
feasible
for
him.
This
leaves
us
with
connect
mobility
service.
A
Monthly
Pass
is
currently
$65.
O
O
Baily
is
one
of
the
80
at
this
current
facility,
where
he's
at
for
rehab
being
out
in
the
community
gives
them
all
a
sense
of
inclusion
and
normalcy.
You
all
may
feel
that
two
dollars
is
reasonable
to
them
with
a
monthly
income
of
30
dollars.
Two
dollars
is
a
lot.
Our
us
veterans
are
also
among
the
writers.
Many
of
them
suffer
from
service-connected
disabilities
and
receive
a
monthly
disability
check.
My
husband
being
one
he's
currently
at
93
percent
disability
within
the
next
six
weeks,
he's
expected
to
go
over
100.
O
Why
don't
we
offer
free
transportation
to
those
most
in
need
within
our
community?
Why
don't
we
have
writers
with
different
abilities
with
mental
physical
and
developmental
disabilities,
serving
on
our
board?
Can
we
increase
the
board
size
to
add
these
people
so
that
we
have
a
voice
for
them
in
closing,
please
save
the
Oliver
out,
say
no
to
fare,
increases,
diversify
the
board
and
please
work
to
dramatically
increase
the
number
of
a.da
accessible
stops.
Thank
you.
Thank.
P
P
It
was
a
wonderful
program,
nor
did
a
great
job
and
you
get
to
see
and
do
so
many
things
that
the
public
rarely
gets
to
participate
in
or
see
and
I
encourage
anyone
to
go
and
take
this
program
if
they
can
sign
up
and
and
it's
10
weeks,
one
night
a
week
and
it's
great
as
a
bonus
I
met.
A
lot
of
great
new
people
met
most
of
the
department
heads
and
made
some
new
friends.
I
highly
recommend
it.
P
However,
as
we
finished
up
the
program
a
couple
weeks
ago,
the
very
next
day
mayor
Renner
made
what
I
found
a
very
insulting
and
offensive
racial
comment
during
his
mayoral
open
house
as
a
new
resident
of
this
community.
For
the
past
few
years,
I've
been
shocked
by
the
derogatory
remarks,
personal
attacks
and
general
lack
of
respect
coming
not
only
from
Mayor
Renner,
but
also
from
others
who
sit
on
the
other
side
of
that
political
table.
P
I
simply
find
this
conduct
appalling
I,
don't
care
who
it's
from
their
political
views
or
anything
else,
there's
simply
no
excuse
for
it
from
anyone.
I
was
hoping
the
mayor
would
retract
his
comments
and
apologize,
and
that
didn't
happen.
I
was
fully
expecting
the
council
to
rebuke
the
mayor's
comments
at
the
following
council
meeting
and
that
didn't
happen
either,
even
while
some
of
the
council
publicly
threatened
to
harm
a
new
local
business,
asking
the
public
to
join
her
and
boycotting
that
business
and
using
a
what
she
considered
a
derogatory
term
in
the
business
name.
P
She
and
this
council
remained
obediently
silent
after
the
mayor
basically
said
that
some
people
in
America
don't
act
like
their
own
race.
I
found
this
comment
disgraceful
and
as
a
new
resident
of
Bloomington
I'm
embarrassed
beyond
words.
The
mayor
blames
others
for
his
own
words.
The
council
remains
silent
and
even
the
not
in
our
town
groups.
Lack
of
any
type
of
action
shows
that
they
fully
support
this
type
of
sickening
racism
in
our.
P
However
I
don't
I
struggled
with
tonight,
but
for
me
it
came
down
to
a
personal
conviction
that
I
won't
participate
or
associate
with
anyone
who
creates,
allows
or
sanctions
racism.
In
any
way.
Therefore,
I
respectfully
refuse
to
accept
my
Bloomington
101
certificate
from
the
mayor
tonight.
I
expect
better
from
our
community
leaders.
I
can
only
speak
for
myself,
but
I
believe
there
are
a
lot
of
others
who
expect
better
from
all
of
you
as
well.
Bloomington
is
now
my
home.
I
want
to
be
proud
of
Bloomington
I
hope
all
of
you
do
too
Thank
You.
Q
Q
We
are
very,
very
grateful
for
the
opportunity
to
have
connect
mobility.
I
am
extremely
grateful
for
the
expanded
hours
for
connectability
and
for
the
regular
bus
as
well.
So
we've
done
you've
done
some
many
wonderful
things
but,
as
was
eloquently
stated
before,
those
of
us
who
have
disabilities
see
things
differently
than
those
of
you
who
do
not
have
disabilities,
and
we
would
like
to
be
a
part
of
a
conversation.
We
need
to
know
why
you
make
the
decisions
you
do
so.
Q
One
of
the
things
that
we've
been
taught
from
the
beginning
of
our
disabilities
is
not
nothing
about
us
without
us,
and
that's
true.
If
you're
in
a
nursing
home
and
there's
a
family
consultation,
the
patient
is
there
as
well
as
all
of
the
other
people.
The
same
is
true
for
special
education.
We
would
like
to
see
this
as
part
of
the
connect
transit
board
as
well.
Q
Can
you
get
out
and
that
dispatcher
stayed
on
the
line
past
his
quitting
time
to
make
sure
that
she
was
safe
and
the
bus
driver
came
back
and
picked
her
up
again
beyond
their
quitting
time,
so
connect
transit
does
some
wonderful
things.
You
need
to
know
those
things
and
you
won't
know
them
unless
you
have
someone
on
the
board,
who
can
tell
you
so
please
consider
having
someone
who
uses
connect,
mobility
or
who
uses
connect
transit
on
your
board.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
R
R
R
Route,
taking
away
that
and
as
I
said
before,
and
to
comment
with
you,
what
you
said
was
that
how
are
we
people,
you
start
taking
bus
routes
away,
you're
one
they're
going
to
force
people
to
make
decisions
that
they
cannot
be
able
to
do
there?
Wasn't
everyone
to
make
them,
have
decisions
to
either
go
to
church
or
do
I?
Take
my
kids
to
camp
or
whatever
or
do
I
need
to
buy
him,
not
to
kind
of
split?
R
Can
I
buy
Rush's
this
week
and
you
know
my
kids
need
school
supplies
coming
up,
but
these
choices
should
not
be
forced
onto
them
and
that's
exactly
what's
going
to
be
everything's
gonna,
be
you
know
everything
you
learn,
you're
going
to
hurt
more
people
and
the
transit,
or
no
can
that's
gonna
hurt
more
people
doing
this.
That's
not
fair,
not
fair
to
me
for
anybody
here.
R
S
That's
timely,
Ward,
5,
I
guess
what
you've
heard
tonight
is
the
fact
that
the
sidewalks
in
this
town,
a
lot
of
them,
are
not
ADA
accessible.
Then
that
went
into
effect
in
1990
I,
wonder
if
personally
29
years
late
and
paying
their
property
taxes
if
their
property
would
still
be
there.
You
know
good
and
well
it
wouldn't
the
city.
The
higher
the
tax
rates
go,
the
better
they
like
and
the
more
they
spend
Terry.
S
Let's
see
everybody
up
on
that
council,
including
yourself,
take
and
it's
connected
transit
for
one
week,
and
you
know
you
couldn't
do
it
probably
expect
them
to
walk
in
when
it's
ten
below
zero
expect
them
to
walk
to
the
bus?
Stop
if
it's
not
right
out
in
front
of
their
house
and
the
bus
stop
where
they
get
off
is
nothing
right
in
front
of
the
building.
You're
gonna
have
a
long
hike
and
I've
seen
the
roads
in
this
town
go
to
pot
because
the
City
Council
cannot
control
their
spending.
S
S
You
know
that,
with
the
condition
of
the
roads
in
this
town
and
they'll
say
we
won't
control
spending
will
raise
taxes,
and
that
seems
to
be
the
answer
to
everything.
You'll
raise
taxes,
not
control
spending,
maybe
Terry.
Maybe
you
need
to
put
yourself
in
some
of
these
people's
shoes
and
see
how
you
like
it.
Let's
get
all
the
sidewalks
ADA
accessible,
there
are
around
City
Hall,
but
they're,
not
around
the
city
of
the
entire
city.
S
A
You
all
right
at
this
point
we're
gonna
move
right
along
to
our
consent
agenda.
We
do
have
some
amendments
to
the
consent.
Agenda
and
I
would
be
asking
for
a
motion
to
approve
the
consent
agenda,
as
presented
unless
there's
some
specific
items
that
members
of
the
council
would
like
to
remove,
and
that
is
that
is
a
motion
to
approve
the
consent
agenda,
as
presented
including
a
correction
to
the
minutes
in
7a,
in
an
update
to
add
date
to
a
contract
in
item
7d.
A
M
F
A
Okay
could
I,
have
a
motion
then
to
approve
the
consent
agenda,
as
presented
with
the
exception
of
item
7
K,
including
the
correction
of
the
minutes
in
7a,
and
an
update
to
add
dates
to
a
contract
on
item
7d,
so
moved
by
alderman
krehbiel.
Is
there
a
second
second
second
by
all
the
woman
cata
you
any
further
discussion?
Oh.
A
Oh
god.
Don't
start
conspiracy
theories.
Okay,
alright,
at
this
point
any
further
discussion
on
this
and
then
I
can
do
this
by
vote
on
the
okay
I.
Guess
it's
a
Township,
I
gotta
get
my
magic
of
all.
Just
takes
a
while.
Okay,
all
right,
I
think
I
still
have
one
person
Julie
yeah
there
we
go.
Okay,
the
motion
carries
8
to
0.
There
are
no
names
to
announce.
Madam
clerk,
we'll
move
right
along
to
all
the
woman
emic
and
you
had
pulled
item
7
k.
Oh.
U
A
A
A
All
right,
we
move
right
along
then
to
our
regular
items
on
a
regular
agenda
and
we
have
item
8a
and
I'm
going
to
that
is
a
consideration
action
to
ratify
a
contract
with
Labor's
local
362
inspectors,
as
requested
by
the
human
resources,
community
development
in
police
departments-
and
I,
as
you
will
probably
notice,
not
just
on
the
council
but
of
course,
for
the
public
items.
Eight
eight
and
a
b
and
c
are
quite
similar.
But
I'm
going
to
turn
this
over
to
our
distinguished
deputy
city
manager,
who
is
acting
city
manager
right
now.
Thank.
V
You
mayor
members
of
council,
actually,
the
the
next
three
items
are
separate
but
really
related.
The
agreements
have
approved
would
ratify
contracts
with
local
three
sixty
two,
which
is
a
bargaining
unit
that
represents
inspectors
in
our
community
development
department,
crime,
data
in
crime,
intelligence,
analysts
in
our
police
department,
parking
enforcement
staff
and
also
support
staff
in
total.
V
It's
about
sixty
three
employees
and
the
three-year
agreements
with
wage
increases
of
two
and
a
half
percent,
three
percent
in
two
and
a
half
percent
over
the
next
three
years,
which
is
in
line
with
what
we've
approved
recently
again,
as
we
said
before,
they've
been
amicable
discussions
really
good
give-and-take
amongst
the
city
and
the
bargaining
units
and
we're
excited
about
the
relationship
that
we
have.
We
know
it's
been
a
council
priority
to
address
sickly
buyback
and
the
spiking
in
pensions
and
the
related
pension
related
cost
that
could
come
to
the
city
again.
V
These
agreements,
if
approved,
would
address
sick
leave
buyback
in
the
same
manner
as
the
recent
recently
approved
agreements.
I
think
it's
important
to
note
that,
for
the
first
time
in
what
I
hear
is
a
long
time,
we
have
agreements
with
all
of
our
local
bargaining
units
and
again
I
think
that's
something
to
be
proud
of.
We've
had
a
lot
of
staff
work
really
really
hard
on
these
agreements.
V
V
V
W
A
A
A
A
A
A
Yeah,
hey
I,
just
need
to
put
my
mind
on
reset.
Okay,
any
further
questions.
Everyone
will
go
ahead
and
vote.
Then
sorry
changing
your
name.
Johnny!
That's
right!
The
motion
carries
8
to
0.
There
are
no
names
to
announce.
Madam
clerk.
Thank
you
and
now
we
move
to
item.
Let's
see
there,
we
go
item
8c
and
again
nothing
new
that
okay,
any
questions
specifically
to
item
8c.
Okay,
if
not,
is
there
a
motion?
I'll.
A
A
V
It
is
usually
the
case
you
can
see
the
calendar
on
the
screens
behind
you
and
I
have
a
couple
items
to
add.
Actually,
as
mentioned
earlier
by
mrs.
fish
she's
still
here,
we
want
to
encourage
people
to
attend
the
the
next
PSCR
be
meeting.
That's
going
to
be
held
at
6
p.m.
Wednesday,
June
12th
at
the
City
of
Refuge
Church,
located
at
401
East
Jefferson
here
in
Bloomington
and
again
we're
encouraging
people
to
attend
the
meeting.
V
Second,
we
talked
earlier
about
the
need
to
be
transparent,
as
it
relates
to
the
recently
enacted
local
motor
fuel
tax
and
street
work.
As
we
go
forward.
We
talked
about
the
creation
of
a
website,
Bloomington
streets,
comm
and
that
website
is
actually
live
as
of
now
so
I
want
to.
Let
you
know
that
as
well.
We
did
sort
of
a
soft
launch
just
to
start
to
work,
some
of
the
kinks
out
if
they
if
they
do
exist,
but
our
goal
is
to
have
that
be
a
central
repository
for
all
things
related
to
street
work.
V
V
I
do
also,
as
happened
earlier,
want
to
want
to
come
in
several
people
as
part
of
putting
this
website
together.
No
I'll
do
NOAA
dukkha,
which
was
heavily
involved
in
the
process
of
doing
this,
as
was
Michael
Hill
from
our
public
works
department
and
Craig
McBee
from
our
is
Department
again
they
did
the
heavy
lifting
and,
as
we
go
forward,
it
will
be
our
goal
to
have
a
central
site
where
people
can
get
information
as
it
relates
to
roadwork
going
forward.
A
Okay,
that's
it!
Thank
you
very
much.
First
of
all,
I
wanted
to
point
out
that
we
had
a
steampunk
festival
in
the
heart
of
Bloomington,
downtown
Bloomington,
our
cultural
history
core,
and
we
had
judges,
three
judges
and
just
like
all
our
council
votes
tonight,
all
three
judges
all
agreed
and
the
best
of
show
was
a
Gatling
gun
which
was
like
really
really
cool.
Not
didn't
really
function,
of
course,
but
it
was,
it
was
really
cool.
A
We
also
had
downtown
on
Saturday
the
GG
LT
concert,
which
was
really
very
well
attended
and
by
special
ordinance
of
the
city
of
Bloomington.
The
rain
remained
at
bay.
The
other
thing,
of
course,
on
Sunday
we
had
was
the
mural.
That
really
is
just
an
incredible
job
and
I
want
to
thank
you
Billy
for
your
particular
work
on
that
and
Joe
Bergner
a
world-renowned
artist
who's.
You
know
right
here
from
right
here
in
Bloomington
and
Angelique
rocky
and
others
who
worked
with
the
youth
to
make
that
really
an
important
project.
A
It
shows
their
heart
and
or
soul
of
that
part
of
that
of
our
community,
and
it
happens
to
be
in
our
friendly
neighborhood
Millennials,
Ward,
Scott,
blacks,
Ward,
but
two
blocks
from
all
of
woman,
caudillos
Ward,
but
it
but
for
all
of
us
it's
it's
a
gateway
to
people
coming
into
our
community
and
I.
Think
that
that
says
a
lot
too
for
us
and
you
know
going
forward
and
as
a
promise
that
I've
made
many
times
to
anybody.
A
T
Y
Radio
state
on
the
consent
budget
but-
and
this
is
gonna-
be
a
stuff
way
over
my
head,
so
I
can't
speak
intelligently,
but
if
you
want
to
come
back
and
try
to
get
Darrin
sit
down
with
you,
but
basically
in
frontiers
equipment
in
their
main
office.
Here
in
Bloomington
there
was
some
kind
of
relay
switch
or
something
that
wasn't
properly
communicating
and
it
was
intermittent.
Y
Y
A
T
Everything
else
on
the
record
right,
so
I
recently
submitted
an
initiative
that
will
be
heard
at
the
June
17th
meeting
next
week.
Just
to
briefly
explain
the
initiative
process
for
an
older
person
to
put
something
on
the
agenda
that
is,
is
not
otherwise
put
on
the
agenda
by
the
city
manager.
Pursuant
to
city
code.
A
This
actually
at
this
point,
I
think
they
have
to
ever
raise
a
point
of
order,
you're
actually
going
into
you.
You
will
have
an
opportunity
a
week
from
today
to
explain
why,
but
so.
In
other
words,
if
anything
I
mean
I
can
talk
to
my
legal
counsel,
isn't
this
the
equivalent
of
what
and
all
the
one
other
person
would
do
a
week
from
today.
F
A
T
Sure
and
I
was
just
simply
stating
what
as
part
of
the
initiative,
but
I
will
simply
add
to
that.
You
know
people
in
the
community
continue
to
make
your
voices
known
reach
out
your
representatives
come
speak
at
the
next
council
meeting
and
I
will
be
moving
to
expand
time
for
public
comment.
So
please
come
and
speak
for
those
that
these
changes
will
impact
I
agree
with
the
statement,
nothing
about
you
without
you.
Thank
you.
Thank.
A
X
Thank
You,
mayor
and
I
just
wanted
to
make
comment
about
the
amazing
weekend.
We
had
in
Bloomington
this
weekend,
I
I'm,
still
a
little
breathless
and
and
frankly
kind
of
tired
trying
to
keep
up
with
all
of
you
and
all
the
amazing
things
you're
doing
in
the
community
and
appreciate
so
much
all
the
invitations
that
are
coming,
keep
them
coming,
because
we
have
a
very
engaged
council
and
we're
getting
out
there
and
we
want
to
meet
and
hear
what
you
have
to
say.
X
But
it
was
just
so
exciting
to
see
others
come
into
the
community
for
the
steampunk
festival
and
we
had
an
opportunity
to
kind
of
meet
and
greet
folks
and
launch
that
on
Friday
night
and
then,
as
you
mentioned,
the
glt
concert
was
extraordinary,
just
great
a
lot
of
talent,
a
lot
of
folks
were
out
and
then
gosh
I
can't
even
say.
Finally,
because
there
was
just
so
many
other
things
going
on.
X
We
were
celebrating
some
businesses
with
some
anniversaries
going
on
and
it's
a
it's
a
great
place
to
be
in
Bloomington
and
and
yeah
the
you
know,
things
aren't
perfect,
they're,
not
perfect,
anywhere
and
and
I
think
what
you'll
see
us
do
here
is
we'll
have
conversations
in
in
public
and
we'll
we'll
talk
about
it
and
and
sometimes
it
it's
not
pretty.
But
that's
what
open
meetings
are
about.
So
we
we
talk
about
it
and
we
get
it
out
and
we
get
the
best
I
bring
the
best
ideas
forward.
X
W
So
I
just
really
want
to
take
a
moment
to
thank
Billy
and
staff
for
the
wonderful
work
that
they've
done
in
relation
to
the
West
Side
mural
Billy.
This
is
the
first
project
that
we've
worked
together
on
and
you
know
you
blew
me
away
with
how
responsive
how
creative
solving
problems
you
know
last
minute
with
a
lot
of
folks-
and
you
know
it
sometimes.
W
You
know
you'll
hear
that
you
can't
fight
city
hall,
but
we
mean
I,
don't
think
anybody
was
saying
that
I
mean
we,
you
guys
did
wonderful,
pulling
trucks
up,
making
sure
the
kids
were
safe
as
they
were,
painting
the
mural,
and
then
we
had
about
200
or
so
people
show
up
to
the
mural
unveiling
dance
performances.
I
mean
this
is
why
I
love
West
Bloomington.
You
see
that
neighborhood
I
mean
even
people
who
just
kind
of
saw
some
folks
milling
about
came
over
to
see
what
was
going
on
great
event.
W
It's
a
great
location
for
a
beautiful
mural
that
the
kids
did
a
fantastic
job
and
I
even
loved
the
nod
to
the
Train,
the
old
mural
that
they
put
on
on
the
new
one.
So
it's
it's
kind
of
the
past
present
and
future,
which
is
what
the
kids
were
going
for.
So
big
win
for
our
community
wouldn't
have
happened
without
billion
staff,
Parks
and
Rec.
So
thank
you
very
much.
W
I
wanted
to
publicly
acknowledge
that,
because
you
went
above
and
beyond
in
this
case,
and
and
you
know,
we
we
often
tend
to
focus
a
lot
on
some
of
the
things
that
don't
go
great,
so
I
think
it's
incumbent
upon
us
as
a
group
to
focus
on
things
that
are
going
well
and
and
Kim's
right.
You
know
we're
not
perfect.
W
Sometimes
it
can
be
unpleasant
in
public,
but
you
know
we
want
to
do
the
best
we
can-
and
you
know
this
weekend
we
focus
on
a
couple
of
events,
but
I
mean
think
of
the
downtown
farmer's
market.
We've
seen
so
many
new
businesses
open
up
in
downtown
Bloomington.
You
know
I'm
very
concerned
about
how
frequently
I'll
be
at
that
ice.
Cream
shop
can't
be
shreddin
for
the
weddin
if
I'm
at
getting
ice
cream
all
the
time.
W
But
those
are
the
types
of
things
that
we
want
to
see
here
in
our
community,
and
this
is
why
people
choose
to
live
in
bloomington-normal
and
I.
Think
it's
incumbent
upon
us
to
be
highlighting
that,
and
you
know,
I
want
to
be
our
community's
cheerleader
and
I'm
really
excited
about
the
things
that
are
happening
and
will
be
happening
in
a
new
future.
So
thanks
to
everybody
who
invited
us
to
various
events
throughout
the
community,
we'll
do
our
best
to
get
there
and
we'll
see
you
out
there.
Thank.
Z
I
would
like
to
echo
some
of
the
comments
that
were
made.
I
love
this
community
been
here
26
years.
As
most
of
you
know,
I
also
attended
that
mural
and
the
clogs
VIP
thing
lots.
Fun.
I
also
did
a
financial
contribution
to
the
mural,
because
I
think
that
that
is
where
the
support
should
come
from
is
from
the
private
sector.
I
do
believe
that
art
touches
the
soul
and
it
lifts
the
spirits.
Z
It's
been
part
of
the
human
experience
since
for
historic
time
when
people
painted
their
life
on
the
walls
of
caves,
so
I
understand
all
that
and
I
appreciate
that
a
lot
many
people
were
recognized
at
the
unveiling
and
applauded
and
I
would
like
to
also
applaud
the
young
people
did
a
great
job.
They
shared
their
talents,
which
I
think
it's
very
important.
Z
The
city
staff
that
spent
countless
hours,
Public
Works,
setting
up
all
the
barricades
and
everything
there
are
even
a
couple
men
out
there
Sunday
afternoon,
gave
up
their
time
standing
in
the
Sun
waiting
to
take
down
the
barriers.
So
I
appreciate
that
too
Public
Safety
officers
were
there
and
I
also
think
that
we
should
thank
the
corporate
authority
of
the
city
who
made
this
project
possible
by
providing
ten
thousand
dollars
for
the
artist,
because
the
organizations
that
were
in
charge
and
promised
to
privately
fund
us
did
not
follow
through
on
their
commitment.
A
U
F
No
I'm,
just
gonna,
do
what
everything
everything
that's
been
said.
There
was
indeed
there
were
quite
a
few
events
this
weekend.
It
was
hard
to
get
to
everything
which
is
very
true:
I
I
missed
a
the
mural
dedication
and
an
unveiling
but
I
drove
by
it
and
I
actually
got
a
chance
to
take
a
peek
at
it.
With
my
daughter,
my
daughter's
a
16
year
old
who's
really
into
art.
She
does
a
lot
of
drawings
and
painting
and
she
was
very
impressed
very
impressed,
so
she
gave
her.
You
know
her
thumbs
up
she's
like
wow.
F
This
is
pretty
cool,
then
I
could
tell
a
little
bit
of
envy
on
her
part
because,
like
wow
I
should
have
been
involved
in
this
thing.
You
know
so
I
told
her
about
you
know
our
station
and
and
and
the
web
site
and
I
also
wanted
to.
Since
we
have
really
held
her
here.
I
wanted
to
to
mention
that
on
Saturday
afternoon,
I
I
attended
a
ceremony
celebration
of
all
of
the
graduates.
You
know
who
applied
for
for
scholarships
here
in
town
and
they
were
supported
by
a
number
of
organizations.
F
F
It
was
a
wonderful,
wonderful
event
to
be
able
to
see
all
of
these
high
achieving
students
with
really
high
GPAs
and
I'm,
not
gonna,
admit
that
my
GPA
was
not
as
good
as
these
high
school
students,
but
I
just
did
so
that
that
was
a
really
wonderful,
wonderful
and
it
was
a
nice
article
in
the
pantograph.
Yes,
exactly
almost
seventy,
seventy
six
thousand
dollars
actually
was
given
out
by
all
of
those
organizations.
F
So
to
repeat
one
of
the
things
that
was
said
there
you
know
anytime,
you
see
some
of
these
organizations
organize
a
fundraiser
and
things
like
that.
You
know
it's
important
to
support
them
because
it
goes
to
to
a
great
cause
and
many
of
those
students
actually
come
back
in
the
community
and
participate
in
some
way
shape
or
form.
So
I
just
want
to
say
that
thank.
