Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
For
the
city
of
bloomington,
this
will
be
our
regularly
scheduled
session
for
tuesday
june
22nd.
A
We'll
kick
off
here
in
just
a
couple
minutes
I'll
turn
it
over
to
dana
palazzo
board.
President.
A
For
the
board
of
public
works,
we've
got
several
items
on
the
agenda
for
this
evening's
meeting.
A
We've
got
title:
six
enforcement
for
four
properties:
we've
got
a
pretty
large.
A
Then
we'll
have
three
items
for
new
business
and
so
looks
like
it's
officially
5.
B
C
Of
businesses
and
roadways
so
happy
that
all
of
you
were
out
there
working
so
hard.
Thank
you.
B
B
Residents
who
have
come
together
to
support
each
other
during
this
difficult
time,
just
really.
B
So,
thank
you
all.
Okay,
next
up
we
have
staff
reports
and
we
have
the.
A
Adam
wayson
public
works
director
for
the
city
of
bloomington,
we've
been
since
march
of
2020.
A
A
Parks,
commissioners,
finishing
up
discover
probably
still
in
discussion
on
this
topic,
but.
A
A
Citing
a
loss
of
access
to
the
to
areas
of
the
park
due
to
mobility,
issues,
age,
etc,.
A
Or
didn't
folks
felt
they
were
not
accessible.
The
survey
results
so
in
the
staff
report.
A
You'll
see
that
the
impact
survey
that
we
began
in
the
20
in
the
fall
of
2020
of
394.
A
A
Average
rating
to
reopening
both
lanes
to
vehicles
there's
also,
obviously,
numerous
concerns
cited.
A
A
A
As
part
of
a
reopening
of
the
roadway,
we
have
some
recent
damage
to.
A
We've
had
some
significant
damage
that
took
place
this
last
weekend
during
the
significant.
A
Rainfalls
where
I
will,
I
think,
you'll
be
able
to
see
me
sharing
my
screen
here.
This
is
just.
A
Of
a
parkway
setting
so
there's
some
some
typical
standards
for
and
instituting.
A
Of
that
that
kind
of
parkway
and
air
quotes
so
we'll
look
to
install
traffic
calming
devices.
A
A
That
screen
with
my
screen
being
shared-
maybe
I
have
to
do
that
as
the
host?
Oh
boy,.
A
A
A
Help
reduce
these
speeds
throughout
this
park
and
parkway
cited
several
reasons.
Why
there's.
A
A
A
A
A
A
It
should
be
completed
as
well,
so
we'll
do
a
mill
paving
and
restriping
of
the
road
we'll
install.
A
A
Lighting
improvements
throughout
the
park
so
again
sorry
I
had
to
regurgitate
all
that.
A
A
A
Time
all
of
these
improvements
would
be
made
and
the
current
damage
is
fixed.
So
with.
A
All
that
being
said,
that
does
not
require
any
action
from
the
board
this
evening,
because.
A
This
was
a
pilot
project,
we're
you
know,
simply
reopening
the
pilot
project.
I
know.
A
It's
going
to
garner
some
good
discussion
and
and
some
feedback
from
the
public,
but
at
this
time.
B
Thanks
adam,
I
don't
have
a
question.
I
did
just
want
to
make
a
quick
comment.
B
A
couple
things
I
I
did
want
to
thank
you
and
the
park
staff.
I
do
feel
like
they
communicated.
B
B
To
for
listening
to
that
feedback,
because
we
did
hear
a
lot
of
concerns
about
everything
that.
B
Reopening
the
the
the
roadway,
but
also
you
know
with
improvements,
so
I'm
excited
to
see.
B
B
I
really
appreciate
it
and
you
know
it
was
nice
to
see
this
kind
of
play
out
this
pilot
project.
B
Time
so
that's
my
comment,
any
other
comments
or
questions
from
board
members
at
the
time.
A
You
know
what
I
would
say
too
is
this:
this
doesn't
preclude
anything
from
the
future.
This.
A
Is
you
know
this
is
a
way
to
make
some
changes
now
that
we
hope
will
be
major
improvements.
A
From
what
it
was
before
that
it's
kind
of
balancing,
both
balancing
all
the
need,
you
know.
A
This
decision
at
all-
and
you
know
as
public
officials
and
everything
else-
it's
that's
that's.
A
A
A
A
A
A
And
bikepad
and
others
we'll
you
know
if
we
need
to
make
updates
to
policies
or
codes
to
make.
A
C
C
C
And
and
always
feel
free
to
ask
questions,
but
thank
you
to
everyone.
That's
involved
in
this
very.
B
Discussions
throughout
this
process,
I
also
know,
obviously
you
know
we're
not
the
parks
board.
B
Really
thrilled
to
hear
some
of
the
the
cool
things
that
are
being
developed
there
in
cascades.
B
B
B
Towards
in
the
future,
as
well
to
continued
improvements
through
this,
this
area
and
it's.
B
B
Invested
in
this
process,
thanks
kyla
at
this
time,
are
we
taking
public
comment
on
this
adam.
A
Yeah,
I
would
recommend
we
just
open
it.
It's
you
know,
I'd
open
this
item
up
to
public
comment.
A
At
this
time,
I
you
know,
given
the
number
of
participants,
I
I
think
it
makes
sense
for
you
to.
A
Possibly
limit
to
two
to
three
minutes
and
if,
if
you're
going
to
do
that,
I'd
just
make
a.
A
Volume
of
folks
that
we
have
in
the
meeting
all
righty
is
there
a
motion
from
the
board.
B
A
F
Put
in
on
this
I'm
thrilled
to
death
that
the
park's
gonna
be
reopened.
It's
been
a
long.
F
Haul-
and
you
all
have
listened
to
us-
it
hasn't
been
a
walk
through
the
park,
no
pun
intended,
but.
F
A
All
righty,
thank
you,
carol,
looks
like
we
have
greg
alexander
with
his
hand,
raised
I'll.
A
G
G
G
G
G
G
G
G
G
A
E
E
That
worked
anyway,
I
appreciate
and
support
rick
alexander's
comments.
I
want
the
very
least.
E
E
A
All
right,
we've
got
council
member
sue,
scandalari
who's
up
next
on
mute.
H
H
Feedback
and
in
particular
their
their
broad-based
approach,
their
the
recommendation.
H
Is
not
simply
just
open
the
road
and
call
it
a
day.
There
is
a
recommendation
to
think.
H
Responsive
to
residents
and
their
concerns,
paula
and
tim
have
gone
above
and
beyond.
H
Thank
you
for
your
consideration.
Thank
you
for
engaging
so
many
residents
in
this
process.
A
Thank
you,
councilmember.
I'm
going
to
read
a.
A
A
A
A
A
I
think
you
should
be
all
set,
sir,
yes,
okay!
Thank
you
thanks.
So
much
for
the
information
sharing.
I
Tonight
and
at
the
board
of
parks,
commissioners
meeting
as
well
light
councilman,
scamularia.
I
My
colleague
I've
certainly
followed
this
project
with
interest
and
just
been
a
long
time
user.
I
Of
that
space
for
essentially
my
entire
time
in
bloomington,
so
it
was
really
interesting
to.
I
Interested
in
this,
since
the
city
council
approved
bonds
prior
to
either
council
members
gamblers.
I
I
I
Where
the
road
has
collapsed
and
fallen
in
over
half
a
lane
around
a
bend
that
that
storm,
we.
I
I
More
intense
we're
going
to
see
more
of
that
if
we
are
trying
to
overbuild
that
space.
I
Liability
in
the
future
that
I
think
is,
is
perhaps
poor
planning.
I'm
also
worried
about
how
far.
I
The
money
can
go,
you
know,
let's
say
we
close
a
lane
and
and
put
put
a
a
a
raised
path.
That's
just.
I
I
Limits
the
driving
just
to
one
direction
or
something
like
that.
I
But
you're
still
missing
the
opportunity
of
what
could
be
done
with
this
space
if
it
was
a.
I
A
street
that
remained
for
non-car
users,
because
you
are
that
money
can
go
farther.
You.
I
Can
actually
properly
connect
it
up
to
the
dog
park
to
down
to
the
multi-use
path
at.
I
I
Transportation
system
making
sure
those
dollars
go
as
far
as
they
can
is
really
important.
I
High
school
students
asked
for
safe
biking
routes
to
school,
high
school
in
particular,
and
the.
I
I
High
school
north
right
now
for
a
lot
of
attendees,
so
you
know,
I
think
I
think
it's
just
the.
I
In
the
transportation
plan,
climate
action
plan
comprehensive
plan,
so
well
I'm
disappointed.
I.
I
On
all
sides
of
this
issue
definitely
look
forward
to
continuing
to
follow
up.
A
Thank
you
councilmember.
I
don't
see
any
other.
A
A
A
Across
the
city
this
weekend
and
across
the
county
across
the
region,
you
know
weather
events
like.
A
A
Think
some
of
these
severe
weather
events
and
and
and
climate
change-
and
so
you
know
again.
A
A
Three
weeks
ago,
during
a
major
rain
event-
and
you
know
it
seems
to
be
happening
more-
you.
A
Know
on
a
more
regular
occurrence,
and
so
you
know
working
closely
with
staff
at
the
utilities.
A
A
All
the
different
players
and
whether
city
and
county
and
everyone
and
just
it
deserves
some.
A
A
Had
folks
from
the
sanitation
department
step
up
and
come
in
for
overtime
to
help
us
clean
up,
we.
A
Admin
office
out
there
all
weekend
getting
things
cleaned
up,
pretty
proud
to
say
that
by
one.
A
A
A
Showed
up
and
and
did
the
work
that
was
needed
to
be
done.
Chief
moore,
chief
decoff
and
all
their.
A
Teams
deserve
just
a
ton
of
credit,
it
was
a
busy
busy
weekend
and
it
reminds
me
of
why
I'm.
A
Leave
it
at
that
and
just
say
thank
you
to
all
those
staff
members
that
were
out
there.
Yeah.
A
So
I'm
just
gonna
go
back.
We've
got
one
more
public
comment
that
looks
like
it
came.
A
In
in
the
chat
for
lower
cascades,
this
was
and
I'll
just
wrap.
My
staff
report.
A
A
These
things
are
not
always
easy
and
just
appreciate
everybody.
You
know
offering
the.
A
Input
doing
it
respectfully
and-
and
you
know
it's
it's
something
that
there's
no
limitation
on.
B
A
Shelton
with
the
chamber
of
commerce
I'll
asked
on
mute
and
lower
jim's
hand.
A
Jim
go
right
on
ahead
good
evening
on
behalf
of
the
chamber,
I
want
to
second.
J
All
the
kudos
to
all
the
city
entities
that
helped
deal
with
this
crazy
weekend.
J
J
A
Well,
thank
you
jim.
I
appreciate
that
I'll
just
make
one
note,
based
on
jim's
comments
with.
A
The
college
mall
road
and
sarah
and
morris
pike
intersection
improvements.
You
know
there.
A
Less
than
desirable,
in
terms
of
you
know
how
how
it
was
all
functioning
during
construction
and.
A
J
J
J
J
J
Much
thank
you,
jim,
but
and
I'll
just
finish
to
say
you
know
it's.
The
combination
of
all
those.
A
Improvements,
the
signal
improvement,
the
shorter
crossing
difference,
different
distances
for
the.
A
Pedestrians,
you
know,
and
then
with
the
college,
mall
road
project
and
and
the
bike
lanes
there.
A
It's
we've
we've
gotten
there,
although
it
was
slightly
painful
at
times.
So,
thanks
for
that,
jim.
A
