If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
C
A
E
A
Thank
you
so
nobody's
surprised,
Angelo
had
to
be
out
for
family
emergency,
so
I'm
just
filling
in
for
it
right
now.
A
Any
objectives
objections,
no
no
okay
and
all
right
Jen
is
adopted.
Approval
of
the
meeting
minutes.
The
minutes
for
the
last
meeting
were
included
in
the
distributed
in
the
last
email
as
well.
Any
corrections
or
addendums
adjustments,
nothing.
A
Okay,
then
the
minutes
are
approved.
Now
we
have
public
comment.
People
in
the
public
are
welcome
to
three
minutes.
Yes,
sir,
with.
F
So
I'd
like
to
find
out
is
sort
of
beating
the
effort
so
and
those
members
that
are
like
to
work
together
on
common
issues.
F
F
Consultants
seemed
concerned
about,
and
this
week's
meeting
I
would,
if
you're
interested
in
issues
related
to
biodiversity,
degrade
canopy
mitigation
for
climate
change,
we're
we're
having
a
guest
come
in
from
SC
Iris,
which
I
also
belong
to,
and
she
now
is
a
park
Department
employee
as
well,
and
so.
F
So
if
we
will
meet
this
Thursday
so
unusual
and
intervening
and
our
meeting
in
the
same
week,
but
we
so
rarely
have
visitors,
it's
a
novelty
to
have
somebody.
F
F
A
A
Okay,
well
then,
that's
that's
perfect,
yeah
we're
discussing
ways.
We
can
do
that
now
having
it's
more
social
events,
so
that
people
can
talk
between
the
commissions
between
public,
just
really
anything
that
that
can
kind
of
mix
up
the
ideas
and
help
people
find
Partnerships.
We.
F
We
were
talking
about
either
take
helping
me
on
tables
at
the
spring
flower
show
as
an
example
of
whatever
events
where
we
would
have
members
of
the
EC
there,
and
hopefully
other
again,
people
that
might
be
who
can
help
table
nice.
A
Okay,
so
yeah,
maybe
that's
a
mixture
that
we
can
propose
that
we
can
maybe
bear
up
then
meet
everybody
on
both
commissions.
It's
a
good
idea.
Thank
you.
A
Are
there
any
other
comments
from
the
public
any
online.
A
All
right:
well,
the
the
report
from
the
active
chair
as
I
said:
I'm
just
filling
in
for
Angela
as
she's
out
I
think
we
don't
have
a
quorum
so
we'd
probably
do
we
hook.
One
I
thought
we
had
12
people
in
the
Commission
presently.
A
Vacancies
I
see
okay,
well
speaking
of
which
we
we
were
gonna,
go
over
the
new
member
orientation.
B
Yeah
I
didn't
mean
to
say
that
we
do.
G
I
know
this:
is
this
commission
had
discussed
in
the
past
I,
don't
know
if
it
was
resolved
or
not
I
think
Matt
Flaherty
brought
it
up
that
it
was
undecided
whether
a
quorum
is
a
quorum
of
actively
serving
members
or
if
it's
a
quorum
of
the
total
possible
members.
So
I
don't
know
what
was
determined
with
that
yeah.
H
We
did
I
think
in
February
or
March
of
this
past
year,
update
the
bylaws,
so
that
Quorum
is
defined
as
a
majority
of
the
members
of
currently
filled
seats
on
the
commission.
So
it
is
not
the
total
available
seats.
So,
given
the
current
number
of
vacancies
and
the
current
attendance,
there
is
a
problem.
Okay,.
A
Well
then,
we
were
just
going
to
discuss
the
the
ways
of
bringing
in
new
members
discussing
a
new
member
orientation
packet
and
then
perhaps
we
want
to
look
at
the
ways
that
we
can
influence
people
that
want
to
be
involved
or
influence.
The
the
selection
of
new
members,
as
we
discussed
before,
there's
Council
appointments,
mayoral
appointments
and
we
don't
get
a
lot
of
transparency
to
that.
A
If
do
you
have
the
the
links
for
the
things
I
sent
you
for
the
new
member
packet
and
everything
see.
A
This
is
something
that
Joe
provided
that
Lauren
had
put
together
in
a
previous
year
kind
of
a
new,
an
orientation
packet
that
we
could
probably
do
to
update
I
think
that
maybe
not
tonight,
but
we
should
review
it
and
see
if
we
want
to
make
any
changes,
maybe
bring
those
changes
to
the
next
meeting
for
discussion
just
so
that
when
we
do
have
new
members
come
along,
they
have
a
jump
start
and
we're
not
kind
of
the.
For
example.
A
The
way
I
came
on
I
found
out
in
a
meeting,
as
did
that
we
were.
We
were
new
members,
but
we
didn't
know
about
this.
Yet,
for
example,
you
might
you
might
find
this
useful.
Actually
did
you
receive
a
copy
of
this
as
well.
A
A
Let's
really
all
I
had
to
discuss
if
I
want
to
move
on
to
the
oh.
Yes,
please
sorry
Anna.
I
Please
I'm
super
excited
to
be
here,
so
thank
you.
I
graduated
in
2019,
from
spea,
with
the
BS
in
environmental
science
and
I'm
a
very
tree
focused
person,
so
I'm
the
part-time
forestry
director
for
canopy
Bloomington,
which
is
a
new
urban
forestry
non-profit.
We
focus
on
Community,
Tree
plantings
and
urban
Forest
education
and
then
I'm
a
part-time
tree
technician
and
arborist
for
the
for
the
University.
I
So
I
do
the
tree
inventory,
project
and
I
manage
that
data
set
and
tree
Health
initiatives
and
such
on
campus
and
then
I'm.
Also,
a
research
associate
with
the
environmental
resilience
Institute,
so
I'm
involved
with
a
few
different
Grant
projects
and
I
curate,
something
called
the
Indiana
Green
City
mapper,
which
is
a
project
of
the
ERI.
I
It's
sort
of
a
Statewide
interactive
web
mapping,
platform
that
Maps
different
socioeconomic
Urban,
green
infrastructure
and
climate
data,
and
then
over
the
past
several
years,
I've
been
involved
with
several
different
sustainability
projects
on
campus
as
well
so
yeah
I'm.
A
C
Hello,
nice
to
see
you
all
again,
anybody
that's
not
already
aware
I
think
you
guys
all
already
are,
but
Lauren
has
transitioned
out
of
her
position
with
the
city.
She
accepted
a
new
position
as
the
climate
action
manager
for
Whatcom
County
in
Washington,
so
super
exciting,
so
that
that
job
position
is
vacant
right
now
or
we're
accepting
applications
for
a
couple
more
weeks,
so
until
that's
filled
I'm
acting
staff
liaison
in
the
interim,
so
any
questions
would
be
fielded
through
me.
C
I
appreciate
the
patience
while
I'm
still
learning
all
of
this,
because
I've
only
done
commission
meetings
like
two
or
three
times
so
yeah
any
Direction
I.
You
guys
feel
that
you
can
offer
for
sure.
I
will
accept
that,
but
I
will
be
the
staff
liaison
for
this
meeting.
Obviously,
the
next
meeting
and
likely
be
around
for
the
ones
following
that
when
the
80
position
is
filled
to
kind
of
help
that
be
a
smooth
transition
updates
on
vacancies
and
appointments.
Since
that
is
a
topic
of
interest.
C
Obviously,
we've
had
one
position
filled,
there's
still
three
vacancies,
so
that's
two
Council
positions,
one
mayoral
appointment,
the
last
set
of
council
interviews
took
place
on
February
1st
and
then
Council
vacancies
are
still
in
progress,
so
as
I
get
updates
on
those
I
will
continue
to
provide
them
to
everybody,
but
yeah,
just
kind
of
kind
of
stay
tuned.
C
For
that,
as
an
Earth
Day
update
the
last
time,
I
had
spoken
with
you
all
a
few
months
ago,
we
were
still
kind
of
planning
that,
in
the
works,
I
do
I,
have
updated
the
city's
website
for
Earth
Day.
So
it's
at
bloomington.in.gov
sustainability,
slash
Earth
day.
C
It
is
going
to
be
very
zero
in
Bloomington
focused,
so
we're
hosting
a
community
challenge
that
will
basically
be
like
a
bingo
board
full
of
sustainability
actions
that
community
members
can
complete
those
actions
for
the
three
weeks
that
the
challenge
runs
to
win
prizes,
sustainable
prizes
and
then
that
will
conclude
on
Earth
Day,
where
we're
going
to
have
a
Earth
Day
event
that
we're
co-hosting
with
go
Bloomington,
which
is
this
is
the
city's
alternative
transportation
platform
that
launched
last
year
as
well.
C
So
zero
in
and
Global
meeting
are
kind
of
collaborating
on
that
effort.
We're
going
to
have
vendors
at
the
event
related
to
alternative
transportation,
Energy
Efficiency,
environmental
nonprofits,
Etc,
we've
reached
out
to
members
of
the
community
for
that.
So
that
should
be
a
super
fun
and
exciting
event.
We're
also
going
to
be
having
an
EV
ride
and
drive
for
anybody.
C
That's
interested
in
testing
out
an
electric
vehicle,
so
we
have
greater
Indiana,
Clean
Cities,
helping
us
on
planning
that
aspect
of
the
event,
so
hopefully
it'll
just
be
a
really
well-rounded
kind
of
sustainability,
focused
event
for
Earth
Day
this
year.
I'm
super
excited
for
that
again.
That
information
is
updated
on
our
site
and,
as
we
finalize
details,
we'll
continue
to
update
the
site
to
reflect
that.
C
That
being
said,
we've
also
reached
out
to
a
variety
of
environmental
non-profits,
other
departments
in
the
city
to
say,
if
anybody
knows
of
ongoing
environmental
events,
specifically
in
the
month
of
April
kind
of
leading
up
to
Earth
Day,
we
also
want
to
be
able
to
list
those
on
the
site
so
that
everybody
knows
what
events
are
ongoing
related
to
environmental
issues.
C
C
C
We
have
an
intern,
that's
researching
commission
grants
and
other
cities
and
kind
of
the
successes
that
that
they've
seen
there
so
that
we
can
work
to
develop
kind
of
a
neighborhood
sustainability
grants
for
you
all
to
be
able
to
take
advantage
of
so
I'll
continue
to
update
you
guys
on
that,
as
we
kind
of
make
some
some
more
decisions,
but
that'll
probably
be
something.
That's
addressed
more
in
depth
once
the
ad
position
is
filled
just
because
we'll
have
more
capacity
to
kind
of
address.
C
Setting
that
program
up
once
we
have
a
new
assistant
director
of
sustainability,
so
that
will
probably
be
April
before
we
have
more
information
on
you
guys
receiving
body
grants
too.
A
A
C
C
Yeah,
so
Matt
is
not
here
he's
at
a
conference
in
Washington,
but
he
sent
his
updates
he's
continuing
in
his
role
as
Council
ex
officio
representative
for
vicos.
No
major
legislative
updates
council
member
Rolo
is
taking
over
as
chair
of
the
council's
climate
action
and
resilience
committee.
Although
the
committee
makeup
is
going
to
remain
the
same,
so
that's
council,
members,
Flaherty,
Piedmont,
Smith,
Rolo
and
Smith
pieces
of
Interest.
The
committee
is
holding
a
meeting
on
Tuesday
February
21st
at
6,
00
PM.
C
So
that's
next
Tuesday
the
room
is
still
being
determined
and
either
it
will
either
be
council
chambers
or
McCloskey,
but
that
meeting
is
going
to
be
to
gather
input
from
staff,
the
public
and
other
stakeholders
on
phasing
out
gas
powered
off-road
equipment,
especially
blowers
string,
trimmers,
mowers,
Etc
and
details
for
that
can
and
will
be
found
on
the
council's
website
and
calendar,
or
anybody
interested
that
is
all
of
updates
from
Matt.
G
Task
force
I
think
she
mentioned
last
time.
We
started
reviewing
existing
city
and
county
plans
that
have
anything
to
do
with
heat
management,
just
to
make
sure
we're
collaborating
where
possible
and
not
overstepping
and
redoubling
efforts,
so
we're
still
doing
that
we've
kind
of
distributed
all
those
amongst
our
amongst
our
group.
G
D
G
Hannah's
on
there
too,
so
yeah
we've
got
a
great
we're
well
represented
with
both
folks
from
the
County
Health
and
emergency
management
department
and
City
and
other
folks,
Red,
Cross
and
other
organizations,
so
yeah
we're
making
a
lot
of
progress,
we're
looking
into
making
some
Outreach
materials,
education,
materials
and
yeah.
We're
still
waiting
to
hear
about
I,
don't
think
we
mentioned
last
time
we
applied
for
a
grant
for
a
heat
mapping
for
Bloomington
for
extreme
heat,
so
we're
we
applied
so
yeah
fingers
crossed
we'll
see
what
happens.
G
We
didn't
have
any
matching
funds
or
anything,
but
it
was
all
pretty
last
minute
right
found
out
about
it.
So
so
I
forgot,
we
should
hear
back
within
the
next
I
forgot
when
it's
all
for
this
summer.
So
in
the
next
few
months.
G
G
I
D
C
I
did
send
some
literature
on
Ira
funding
that
might
be
relevant
that
we're
happy
to
help
with,
as
applying
like
for
applying
as
a
municipality
that
I
told
her
I'd
be
happy
to
help
with
that,
specifically,
the
environmental
and
climate
Justice
block
grants
that
mentions
Urban
heat
islands
and
with
a
specific
focus
on
vulnerable
communities,
and
so
we're
hoping
to
update
our
vulnerability
assessment
this
summer
fingers
crossed
for
that.
But
if,
if
that
is
something
that
can
be
of
help
in
the
future,
there's
also
kind
of
an
overlap.
C
Opportunity
for
the
just
transition
group
and
the
heat
group
to
kind
of
collaborate,
and
that
can
make
a
project
proposal
even
stronger
for
for
something
like
Federal
funding.
So
yeah
I've
sent
that,
along
to
today,.
G
Yeah
she
did
mention
that
you
had
mentioned
what
the
ESD
would
be,
somebody
who
could
work
with
and
we,
when
we
did,
discuss
yeah
Ira
a
few
different,
great
opportunities
there.
So
so.
D
A
But
then,
when
you
can
move
on
to
waste
management,.
B
I'll,
go
we
met
and
we're
working
on
setting
our
yearly
kind
of
goals
like
our
timeline
throughout
2023.
B
K
Yeah
hi
Caitlin
here
for
the
just
transitions
working
group,
I'm
only
I'm
hearing,
maybe
about
85
of
what's
happening
in
the
meeting,
so
I'm
assuming
now's
the
time
for
me
to
talk
and
if
not
somebody
can
just
jump
in
and
correct
me.
Nigel
is
not
here
tonight,
but
her
and
I
have
made
a
little
bit
of.
K
There's
a
couple
of
areas
that
we're
looking
at
specifically
because
of
the
Monroe
County
Health
Report,
that
identified
some
disparities.
The
biggest
disparities
Monroe
county
is
actually
has
the
worst
waste
disparity
in
the
entire
State
and,
of
course,
some
issues
that
come
up
with
that
are
Equity
issues
and
the
sustainability
of
that.
So
one
area
that
we're
looking
at
is
actually
trying
to
put
a
number
to
on
the
death
toll
of
the
unhoused
in
Bloomington,
and
that's
not
something
that's
reported
currently
by
the
Monroe
County
coroner.
K
So
I'll
start
with
that,
because
that's
an
area
that
I've
been
kind
of
doing
a
little
bit
of
research
on
it
seems
like
that
data
is.
If
it's
gathered,
it's
only
gathered
in
kind
of
a
summative,
the
summative
part
of
the
death
report.
It's
not
kind
of
checked.
You
know
what
the
status
is
of
that
individual
when
they
pass
away,
but
we
haven't
made
too
much
Headway
with
the
staff
I'd
love
to
get
a
staff
contact
at
with
the
county.
K
If
somebody
has
that
I
think
I
heard
the
the
heat,
Management
Group
say
that
they've
been
working
a
little
bit
with
the
county
or
if
mccailyn
you
have
any
contacts
with
the
county
that
could
assist
with
that
this
week
we
will
be
meeting
with
a
representative
from
Bloomington
Transit
to
some
to
figure
out
some
Equity
issues
there
and
to
just
get
some
information
on
what
their
current
strategies
are.
K
Really
more
of
a
relationship
build
meeting
and
then
the
other
meeting
we
had
this
week
is
with
the
Sycamore
land
trust
to
establish
some
relationships
there
as
well.
So
it's
still
just
natural
and
I.
So
if
there's
any
new
committee
members
who
haven't
really
found
a
place
yet
and
want
to
join
the
team
again
we're
kind
of
in
the
relationship
building
standpoint
and
then,
as
we
move
into
the
year,
we'll
be
really
focusing
and
laser
pinpointing
sort
of
our
short
term
and
our
intermediate
goals
for
the
year.
K
So
I'm
pretty
excited
about
that
and
then
I
just
briefly
caught
a
little
bit
about
one
that
Kailyn
was
talking
about
the
heat,
Management,
Group
and
just
transitions.
Collaborating
I
would
I
think
that
we
would
be
happy
to
collaborate
if
there's
any
communication
that
you
can
share
with
us
about
that.
E
A
We'll
we'll
double
check
the
minutes
make
sure
it's
not
in
there.
C
A
A
A
If,
if
I
can
preach
into
it
to
something
else,
can
I
ask
anybody
what
they
would
say
the
mission
of,
because
is.
A
What's
the
the
objective
of
the
commission.
G
B
A
Have
a
we
have
a
definition
which
I
just
sent
you
from
Caitlin.
It's
the
same:
bye
yeah.
B
A
On
the
books,
it
says,
public
policy
and
purpose
is
sustainable.
Community
seeks
to
enhance
the
socioeconomic
or
socio-environmental
economic
well-being
of
the
community,
while
taking
precautions
not
to
compromise
the
quality
of
life
of
future
Generations.
Toward
that
end,
it
reduces
its
use
of
non-renewable
resources
in
its
production
of
waste
while
at
the
same
time
improving
livability.
The
mission
of
the
Bloomington
Commission
on
sustainability
is
to
promote
sustainable
socio-environmental
economic
well-being
of
Bloomington
and
all
this
inhabitants.
A
That's
a
lot
I
just
thought.
Maybe
if
you
guys
wanted
to
consider,
maybe
making
a
briefer
more
direct
mission
statement
that
we
can
reference
from
time
to
time,
maybe
Sunday
the
demol
over
just
because
we've
run
into
it
in
the
past.
Where
there's
a
lot
of
confusion
on
what
sustainability
versus
Environmental
preservations,
now
that
we
have
the
the
17
sdgs
from
the
UN
that
we've
adopted,
we
can
incorporate
them
somehow,
just
maybe
one
of
you
are
a
better
Wordsmith
than
I.
A
Am
that's
if
you
have
any
ideas
for
something
catchy
that
would
be
very,
very
helpful,
and
also,
while
we're
doing
these
Outreach
efforts,
it
would
be
nice
to
have
something
on
hand
that
we
could
point
to.
B
A
Yeah
and
also
dude
did
we
come
to
a
conclusion.
I,
don't
remember
last
time
as
to
when
we're
going
to
have
the
social
event
or.
A
B
A
A
A
There
was
one
other
thing
I
wanted
to
discuss,
and
this
is
just
a
just
a
proposal.
If
do
you
guys
think
you
would
benefit
from
having
a
educational
presentation
on
project
management?
A
I
mean
you're
all
pretty
deep
into
your
projects
now,
but
if
there's,
if
there
was
somebody
to
come,
do
an
overview
and
go
over
the
basic
fundamentals
to
help
you
manage
them
or
maybe
resource
management,
do
you
think
that
would
be
beneficial
to
you?
I
mean
it's.
A
Because
my
the
way
I
got
into
project
management
was
I,
went
through
a
course
and
it
changed
my
perspective
on
everything.
I,
don't
think
all
of
you
have
been
privy
to
that
same
kind
of
experience.
So
if
the
trainer
came
in
to
do
a
simple
overview
of
project
management,
maybe
just
basic
concepts,
some
fundamental
tools-
maybe
you
guys
will
find
that
same
kind
of
that
switch
flipped
like
I,
did.
B
Some
value
in
that
yeah
I,
don't
see
why
not
a
brief
presentation
make
it
all.
Okay.
A
I
just
want
to
see
how
it'd
be
received
and
I'll
look
forward
or
look
into
finding
somebody,
that's
qualified
and
quick
and
cheap
and
good.
Okay,
don't
believe
we
have
any
resolutions
on
the
board
or
on
the
table
right
now,
nope.
E
I
just
wanted
to
ask
the
new
member
the
there's
the
bradford
pears
issue,
so
I've
heard
you
talk
about
other
things,.
I
I
E
I
Yeah
so
I
Embassy
Iris
has
still
adopted
calorie
pair
as
their
focused
species
for
this
year,
and
we
just
had
a
meeting
with
them
with
Canada
people,
Bloomington
and
MC
IRS
last
week
to
talk
about
how
we
can
better
collaborate
and
replace,
especially
in
replacing
trees
as
they're
taken
down,
because
obviously
calorie
pairs
are
not
good,
but
they
do
leave
a
gap
in
the
canopy
when
we're
when
we're
taking
them
down.
So
we
need
to
be
replacing
them
with
native
trees
or
trees
that
are
going
to
be
suitable
to
the
changing
climate.
I
So
we
are
working
with
them
to
sort
of
better
collaborate,
and
then
I
know
that
the
city
has
adopted,
like
a
10-year
plan,
to
remove
calorie
pairs,
which
is
a
long
yeah.
It's
long-term
plan
I
know
that
they
did
just
replace
I,
think
seven
calorie
pairs
on
the
B
line.
I
H
I
Bit
and
then
I
know
on
campus,
just
speaking
from
having
my
presence
on
campus
I
know
that
the
arborists
are
working
to
remove
calorie
pairs
as
I
can
so
right.
L
J
I
Meeting
a
couple
weeks
ago
with
someone
and
they
had
never
heard
of
a
calorie
what
a
calorie
pair
was,
and
they
asked
what
the
stinky
trees
were.
D
E
B
E
They're
dormant,
at
least
that's
my
understanding,
yeah,
but
a
lot
of
homeowners.
Don't
have
the
funds.
I
E
I
Yeah
yeah
and
it's
yeah,
it
is
so
expensive
to
remove
trees
with
canopy.
We
have
sort
of
a
long-term
goal
to
create
some
sort
of
fun
fun.
To
have
that
people
can
access
to
help
alleviate
the
financial
burden
for
moving
trees
with
calorie
pears
like
a
star
species
that
we
would
prioritize
for
that,
but
yeah
it's
just
it's.
It's
been
a
long
process
trying
to
get
that
started,
but
I
know
blue
stone
tree
and
there's
one
other
partner.
Tree.
J
I
F
I
will
add
to
that.
As
an
example.
A
neighbor
across
the
street
from
me
has
one
in
her
front
here,
her
front
yard.
They
are
modest
amazing
because
they
have
one
of
their
children.
He
has
along
significant
Health
costs
and
the
calorie
pairs
are
spread
on
Wildfire
yeah
working
in
lowercase
Park.
The
trail.
F
Going
south
in
town
we're
finding
Cal
repairs
popping
up
in
the
park
that
I
live
near.
We
have
calorie
pairs
that
are
popular
exponentially
and
at
the
rate
that
the
city's
budgeting
for
removing
just
City
trees,
there
will
be
more
City
trees,
probably
popping
up
from
the
seeds
from
the
existing
trees
and
wine
neighborhood.
There
are
significant
numbers
of
City
trees
that
were
planted
by
the
city.
D
F
We
were
dealing
with
at
the
the
little
Forest
over
there
south
of
the
mall,
and
we
had
one
calorie
pair,
that's
dying
the
when
the
cow
repairs
are
accident
prone
and
the
one
that
we
probably
terminated
on
our
own
had
so
many
dead
limbs
that
believing
it's
just
standing
to
die
after
it's
killing.
It
would
be
potentially
dangerous
when
you
have
a
30,
40
foot
tall
tree
every.
G
L
I
A
Yeah
are
you
involved
in
any
student
groups
that
are
well
still
I
guess.
I
I'm,
not
not
yeah
I'm,
not
really
I
mean
I've.
When
I
was
on,
I
mean
when
I
was
a
student.
I
was
involved
in
students
groups,
and
then
we
have
some
communication
with
some
of
the
student
groups
on
campus,
but
not
any
like
formal,
Partnerships
or.
I
Yeah,
so
we
have
two
part-time
staff
members.
It's
me
and
the
administrative
director.
Her
name
is
Cynthia
ramlo
and
then
we
have
10
board
members
yeah,
so
we're
really
new.
We
just
became
a
non-profit
in
late
2021,
so.
A
A
It's
the
2023
planning.
A
So
this
is
oh
a
lot
of
what
we
were
discussing,
what
we
have
planned
out
for
the
year.
A
We
went
through
the
the
because
social
that
next
month
after
well,
when
we
said
it
after
the
elections,
the
volunteer
poll
I
am
still
working
on
that
I
have
a
it's
complex
with
Partnerships,
but
it's
moving
I'm
still
hoping
to
have
a
soft
launch
in
May
and
a
hard
launch
in
September
or
August,
possibly
I'll.
Keep
you
informed
as
as
I
go
through
the
connection
to
the
appointment
body.
A
A
The
time
in
which
they're
pointed
and
I
think
that
if
we
have
a
volunteer
pool
that
is
regularly
participating,
we
should
be
able
to
have
some
influence
in
their
appointment.
If
they,
if
they're,
showing
up
and
helping
out,
we
should
be
able
to
to
get
them
in.
A
L
A
A
So
when
we're
deciding
on
projects
using
the
sdgs
to
limit
our
our
Focus
just
so
that
we
go
back
to
the
three
or
more
or
app
no
more
than
three
up
to
two,
you
know
I
mean
when
we,
when
we
put
it
in,
for
the
the
number
of
which
you
should
be
focused
on
I,
know
you
weren't
here
for
these,
but
we
are
you
familiar
with
the
17
sdgs.
A
Okay,
then
we
just
adopted
that
so
that
we
can
use
that
template
for
selecting
our
projects,
communicating
our
projects
and
keeping
Focus
so
that
we
didn't
bleed
into
too
many
areas.
If
something's
too
big
probably
be
two,
two
different
groups.
D
I
J
This
is
my
second
meeting
so
still
trying
to
catch
up.
I
have
a
question
about
I
understand
using
the
sdgs
as
a
framework,
but
has
there
been
a
consideration
of
using
the
city
of
bloomington's
climate
action
plan
as
the
framework
for
the
efforts,
because
the
city
has
already
outlined
goals
that
it
is
working
towards?
So
then,
the
work
of
the
commission
would
directly
support
the
city's
strategy
in
climate
action
planning.
J
Just
to
make
you
even
describe
even
more
focused
right,
because
even
if
you
pick
sdg,
three
sdgs
I
mean
they
swing
so
wildly
in
their
scope,
all
of
them
that
even
within
one
sdg,
you
have
so
much.
You
know
lateral
movement
across
one
particular
category
that
it
can
be
hard
to
nail
down.
Even
one
goal
inside
that
versus
the
climate
action
plan
already
has
pre-approved
city-approved
goals
in
it
that
this
group
could
directly
support.
J
So
I
wasn't
sure
about
the
articulation
between
this
group
in
the
city's
climate
action
plan
or
that
had
been
discussed
before
I
just
know
from
my
experience
working
with
the
university.
If
it's,
if
it's
a
plan
that
has
already
been
approved
by
the
registration,
it
likely
has
the
support
of
time
some
level
of
funding
and
some
level
of
authority,
and
so
your
movement
in
that
lane
can
be
quicker
than
if
you
were
to
try
to
develop
some
offshoot
on
your
own.
J
A
E
Can
I
jump
in
real,
quick
sure
yeah?
For
me,
it's
just
having
the
same
essentially
vocabulary
that
we're
all
speaking
with
the
same
language,
but
we
are
focused
like
with
Waste
Management.
We
do
specifically
look
at
the
city's
climate
action
plan
and
we
find
specifics
within
that
and
we
attach
that
to
the
compost
captains,
because
we
know
the
city
wants
to
reduce
waste
by
a
certain
amount,
and
so
the
compost
captains
is
supported
by
the
climate
action
plan
while
still
having
the
vocabulary
of
the
sdg.
A
That
would
be
something
we
might
be
able
to
include
in
our
mission
statement.
That
way
we
could
avoid
the
the
kind
of
we.
F
A
Struggle
with
the
same
question
is
what
what
are
we
focusing
on?
Is
this
an
environmental
group,
or
is
this
a
sustainable,
all
sustainable,
Endeavors
group
and
I?
Think
we
lean
towards
having
the
the
Liberty
to
go
into
other
sustainability
projects
outside
of
just
just
climate,
but
you're
right?
It's
a
lot
easier
to
go
down
a
path,
that's
already
been
walked,
or
at
least
planned
out.
So
the
initiatives
that
are
in
the
the
city's
climate
actually
plan
art
off
the
table.
I
mean
we
still
want
to
address
all
of
them.
It's
just.
K
B
K
The
sdgs
everyone
knows
them
so
I
definitely
spent
a
lot
of
time
in
reflection,
thinking
about
it,
but
it
really
comes
down
to
the
fact
that
we're
not
a
climate
action
commission
or
the
you
know.
You
know
the
commission
on
sustainability,
which
is
a
lot
broader.
K
Additionally,
to
that
we
are
a
citizen
commission
that
works
jointly
with
staff
and
city
council,
we're
not
an
extension
of
the
city
council,
so
the
city
council
may
push
through
this
climate
action
plan
and
vote
for
it,
but
as
Citizens,
this
is
still
our
platform
to
be
able
to
come
in
and
push
our
own
initiatives,
and
you
know
even
work
with
those
council
members.
K
You
know
on
the
Gap
Community
that
aren't
being
filled
so
and
I
think
the
that
what
you
just
said
was
exactly
right
as
well.
A
lot
of
our
initiatives
are
probably
going
to
be
within
that
climate
action
plan,
but
the
work
that
Angela
and
I
are
doing
on
the
adjust
transitions.
K
Working
group,
I
can
say:
there's
definitely
some
pieces
that
are
not
directly
related
to
The
Climate
action
plan,
especially
with
Equitable
growth
and
Equitable
sustainability
as
well.
So.
L
A
We
struggled
with
this
for
several
months,
so
your
your
questions
are
yeah
that
they
were
discussed
before
you
joined.
Thank
you
for
asking
them
reminding
us
why
we
come
up
with
that
in
the
first
place,
that's
very
helpful
and
aligning
our
new
objectives.
A
So,
while
we're
planning
the
working
groups
that
we
want
to
do
in
2023,
keep
that
in
mind
so
that
we
can
be
very
clear
in
the
message
and
Focus
the
objective
so
that
we
don't
get
out
of
don't
draw
too
big
of
a
scope
with
with
our
endeavors,
like
Jessica,
says.
A
Well,
we
are
going
to
have
a
short
meeting
tonight
with
that
I
will
motion
to
adjourn.
