From YouTube: 2022 ANNUAL CITY GOALS
Description
Tune in as Mayor Hamilton and Deputy Mayor Don Griffin as they discuss the recently released mid-year update for the 2022 City Annual City Goals.
In keeping with the Hamilton administration's commitments to transparency and accountability, this update offers the opportunity to monitor each City department's progress toward stated goals. The summary reflects fifteen city departments reporting on nineteen individual components of city functions and their corresponding goals. In total, 564 goals were identified for 2022.
The Annual City Goals Report and previous reports, including the 2021 Year End Report, are available at bloomington.in.gov/citygoals.
B
And
I'm
don
griffin,
the
deputy
mayor
for
the
city
of
bloomington,
today
we're
going
to
talk
about
our
city
goals.
We
just
put
out
our
report
for
2022.
and
it's
it's
a
it's
six,
almost
600
different
goals
that
we
set
for
ourselves.
It's
a
way.
We
account
right.
A
Yeah,
I
mean
you
know
don.
This
is
not
the
most
exciting
things
for
some
people
when
they
look
at
city
government,
but
it
is
the
nitty
gritty,
transparent,
accountable
way.
We
approach
it
with
goals
in
every
city
department
and
what
we
just
released
was
the
mid-year
update
on
where,
where
we
are
in
2022
and
there,
as
you
said,
there
are
almost
600
of
these
calls.
A
They
run
through
all
of
our
departments
and
look
you
kind
of
maybe
have
to
be
a
little
bit
of
a
nerd
or
a
geek
to
want
to
get
into
this
stuff.
But
it's
got
really
the
details
of
how
city
government
works.
You
can
find
out
how
many
rounds
of
golf
were
played
this
year
or
last
year
you
can
find
out
how
many
kids
went
to
camp
this
year
compared
to
last
year.
You
can
find
out
the
tons
of
trash
that
are
getting
picked
up
or
recycling.
A
You
can
find
out
water
quality
and
go
all
just
just
hundreds
of
these
and
every
department
does
one
every
department
does
one
and
what
we
put
it
out.
We
put
it
out.
You
can
look
at
it.
You
can
find
your
favorite
area
or
your
least
favorite
area
and
and
see
what
you
think
about
it
now.
The
mid-year
report
has
mostly
in
progress.
You
know
we're
working
on,
but
if
you're
tempted
you
can
go
back
to
2021
and
see
the
full-year
report
from
that
and
you
can
be
waiting
for
the
full-year
report
for
2022..
