A
B
Welcome
to
Bloomington
today,
I'm
Laurie
Schulte
thanks
for
joining
us.
First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
September
30th
through
october.
Sixth,
throughout
the
summer,
we've
been
highlighting
the
art
installations
taking
shape
in
the
south
loop
and
now,
improvements
to
roads
will
also
enhance
the
area.
Lindau
lane
was
under
construction
for
the
last
few
years,
but
now
it's
open
from
trunk
highway
77
to
the
new
30th
Avenue,
there's
a
roundabout
at
28th
in
lindale
lane,
with
a
sculpture
at
the
center.
A
trail
is
also
complete,
connecting
30th
Avenue
to
Central
Station
park.
B
Roads.
Aren't
the
only
things
opening
in
this
area.
The
parking
lot
at
the
28th,
Avenue,
Park
and
Ride
is
ready
for
cars.
The
north
side
parking
lot
across
the
street
is
still
waiting
for
lights
and
should
open
in
October.
Well,
there's
not
a
ton
of
traffic
in
the
south
loop
today
that
will
change
as
the
years
go
on.
We.
C
Expect
the
area
to
grow
to
one
of
those
multimodal
use
a
lot
of
people
will
live
in
the
area
visit
in
the
area.
There
are
lots
of
hotels
that
are
under
construction
or
planned
for
construction.
I,
think
sixty-five
percent
of
development
growth
is
going
to
occur
in
the
South
Loop
area,
and
so
we
are
getting
a
jumpstart
on
the
future
hotels
in
retail
and
residential
uses
that
are
going
to
be
moving
into
the
area.
Road.
B
Construction
in
this
area
is
complete
for
now,
but
you'll
see
private
development
springing
up
and
demolition
of
existing
buildings
taking
place.
The
city's
new
garbage
and
recycling
service
will
start
this
spring,
but
staff
is
working
to
answer
your
questions
before
then
just
head
to
the
city's
website
and
search
garbage.
There
you'll
find
answers
to
frequently
asked
questions
concerning
current
services,
the
new
service
billing
and
pick
up
specifics.
B
Some
common
questions
include
what
happens
to
my
cart
when
the
new
service
starts
April
first,
the
answer
haulers
will
continue
to
use
their
own
carts,
but
if
your
current
hauler
is
assigned
to
a
new
neighborhood,
you
will
see
your
carts,
which
many
residents
also
have
questions
about.
Enrolling
in
the
garbage
and
recycling
service
city
staff
says
a
confirmation.
Letter
will
be
set
out
in
January
to
confirm
your
service
level.
Under
the
new
system,
wondering
how
you
pay
your
bill,
you
can
pay
online
by
mail
or
at
Civic
Plaza.
B
You
can
also
sign
up
for
autopay
from
your
checking
or
savings
account.
The
new
schedule
and
collection
zones
are
expected
to
be
announced
in
February.
Your
collection
day
will
stay
the
same
under
the
new
city
system
again
for
more
answers
to
these
questions.

is
being
organized.

city
is
recruiting
applicants
who
will
gather
information
and
recommendations
to
present
to
the
City
Council.
This
will
help
council
members
determine
the
possible
future
of
a
new
community
center.
B
The
task
force
will
start
meeting
late
this
year
and
will
meet
periodically
until
2017.
