A
B
Welcome
to
Bloomington
today,
I'm
Laurie
Schulte
thanks
for
joining
us.
First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
january,
fourteenth
through
the
20th
after
a
mild,
December
winter
kicked
into
high
gear,
bringing
sub-zero
temperatures
to
bloomington.
In
january
those
frigid
temperatures
can
create
dangerous
conditions
on
the
roads,
but
there
are
some
things
you
can
do
to
prepare
yourself
in
case
of
an
emergency
as.
C
B
C
Can
buy
kits
at
most
hardware
stores
will
have
the
basic
stuff
the
batteries
the
flashlight
candle
a
can.
So
if
you
want
to
get
a
little
bit
of
heat,
you
can't
run
your
car.
You
can
have
a
little
bit
of
heat
off
a
candle.
It
comes
with
snacks
and
protein
bars
that
kind
of
thing,
so
anything
at
all
it
might
keep
you
through.
A
couple
of
hours,
I
think
would
be,
would
be
beneficial
to
you
if.
B
Having
car
trouble,
Anna
berg
says
you
should
wait
for
help
inside
your
car
to
retain
the
most
heat
he
does
not
recommend
venturing
out
on
foot.
He
says
police
can
better
spot
a
car
on
the
side
of
the
road
compared
to
a
person.
The
cold
weather
can
also
be
fun
for
many
Minnesotans
and
winter
fat.
2015
showcases
that
between
January
17th
and
25th,
the
city
will
be
hosting
different
winter
activities
around
town.
The
nine-day
event
has
been
going
strong
for
12
years.
It
kicks
off
with
hockey
activities
at
running
park
for
Minnesota
hockey
day.
B
There
are
also
two
fat
tire
bike:
races,
an
international
ski
jumping
competition
and
a
warming
house
apalooza
that
will
include
skating
crafts
and
a
snow
art
contest

fat
schedule,
