B
Yes
carol,
there
are,
I
mentioned
earlier,
our
small
business
development
center
that
we're
working
to
develop
in
the
in
the
old
fire
station
number.
Three.
We've
got
a
number
of
grant
applications
through
non-profits
through
foundations,
through
the
state
of
minnesota,
to
basically
fund
what
we
need
to
to
get
this
up
and
running
and
very
excited
about
it.
Carl
henderson,
our
community
development
director,
is
kind
of
spearheading
this
and,
if
you've
met
carla
she's,
just
a
a
bundle
of
energy
and
she's
she's
going
to
make
it
happen.
A
This
is
a
very
small
slice
of
the
hour
and
a
half
conversation.
The
full
recording
can
be
found
on
the
city's
youtube
channel
at
blm.
youtube
improvements
on
a
busy
bloomington
intersection
have
begun.
The
city
is
working
in
partnership
with
hennepin
county
on
a
safety
improvement
project
at
the
98th
and
normandale
intersection.
A
Work
will
continue
through
the
fall
with
an
anticipated
completion
in
late
2022,
with
minor
restoration
items
to
be
done
in
spring
2023..
The
intersection
will
be
brought
up
to
ada
compliance
and
sight
lines
will
be
improved.
The
east-west
bike
lane
will
also
be
extended
on
98th
through
the
intersection.
A
A
D
Retirement
can
be
fun
for
a
little
bit
and
then,
as
you
kind
of
transition
to
this
next
chapter
in
your
life,
some
people
need
to
have
a
purpose
and
something
to
do
whether
that's
a
paid
position
or
a
volunteer
position.
So
I
think
this
this
resource
fair,
definitely
gives
other
seniors
the
opportunity
to
explore.
What's
out
there.
F
I've
been
retired
for
a
few
years
and
I'm
kind
of
thinking
about
getting
back
into
something
a
couple
days
a
week
or
something
that's,
maybe
even
more
flexible
than
that.
So
I
figured
a
lot
of
different
places
to
check
here,
but
I
think
the
fact
that
there's
so
many
in
one
spot
is
is
the
big
draw,
a
big
plus.
A
The
event
was
co-sponsored
by
bloomington
parks
and
recreation,
public
health
and

senior
living
and
care.
If
you
weren't
able
to
attend
this
year's
job
fair,
but
would
like
more

visual

autism
runs
through
sunday
september
11th
at
the

at
the

the

That
is
the
buzz
on
bloomington
today
for
the
week
of
august
24th
through
the
30th.
If
you
would
like
to

go

there
