Hello,
I'm
ben
vinar

of
discover,

that
highlights
activities
the
arts,
local
businesses
and
much
more.
Let's
check
out
some
upcoming
events
around
the
city
of
bloomington
adventures
continue
at
the
gideon
and
agnes
pond
house
with
a
mystery
house
tour
on

the

three
years

tim

and
city
manager,
jamie

as
they
share
major
accomplishments
and
challenges
from
this
past
year,
as
well
as
look
to
what's
on
the
horizon
for
the
future
of
bloomington.

City
of
bloomington
also
has
volunteer
opportunities
available
throughout
the
year,
but
if
you're
looking
for
a
good
paying
summer,
gig
look
no
further
than
parks
and
recreation.
The
department
is
hiring
now
for
upcoming
seasonal
jobs.
The
large
number
of
summer
parks
and
recreation
programs
that
many
of
us
enjoy
can
only
happen
with
enough
staffing.
We
need
facility
attendance
and
leads
lifeguards,
youth
and
inclusion
program,
coordinators,
counselors
instructors,
golf
services,
zamboni
drivers
and
more.
C
Working
for
parks
and
recreation
is
a
great
step
to
get
some
experience
if
you've
never
had
a
job
before
this
can
be
your
first
job
and
we'll
train
you
and
anything
you
need
to
know
you
get
to
be
outside
in
the
summer,
doing
what
you
love
and
getting
paid.
At
the
same
time,
some
of
our
youth
programs
are
at
risk
for
having
low
participation,
numbers
or
even
full-on
cancellation.
C
So
we
have
a
new
bonus
offering
if
you
stay
the
entire
season
with
us
here
in
park
and
rec,
you
get
an
extra
hundred
dollars
just
for
sticking
around
also,
if
you're
already
working
for
us-
and
you
maybe
want
your
friends
to
work
with
you-
we'll
give
you
another
hundred
dollars
just
to
recommend
your
friend.
And
that
means
you
guys
both
get
to
work
together,
have
fun
all
summer
and
make
that
extra
hundred
dollars.
A
We'll
look
back
on
some
of
our
favorite
segments
from
the
past
year,
including
discovering
the
japanese
garden
at
normandale
community
college,
some
self-care
tips
with
forest
bathing,
a
visit
to
agape
african
market
and
practicing
our
aim
at
the
marsh
lake
archery
range.
If
you
have
any
story
ideas,
we
invite
you
to
share
them
with
us
by
emailing.
