School sophomore, Dylan Ackerman, is part of the dimensions program where high school students take classes at the college.

Started about a month and a half ago coming up with idea trying to figure out just how we do it like what we'd use. We have ended up with eight individual fingers instead of a few different mallets. Really, it was just a lot of just trial and error to see what would work best for a project.

Our robot had servo motors a whole bunch of motors connected to an Arduino which is little computer, that understands what it's playing and then we had to set up the servomotors to their fingers and then make them hit the xylophone at the right angle so that it can play each key from.
