From YouTube: Bloomington Home Improvement Fair: Picking a Contractor and Kitchen Remodeling - Durst & Gans
Description
Get useful tips for picking a contractor as well as information on kitchen remodeling from local contractor David Durst of Durst & Gans Building Corporation. Durst discusses some of the important things homeowners need to know before making home improvements
A
A
A
Hello:
everyone,
my
name,
is
Dave
Durst
I'm,
a
building
contractor
I've
been
doing
this
since
1976
I,
don't
look
like
it,
but
anyways
I'm
to
do
a
speech
on
kitchen
remodeling
and
somehow
there
were
some
wire
switch.
So
what
I
have
is
something
on
how
to
build
a
how
to
pick
a
building
contractor,
remodeling
contractor
but
I'm
going
to
wing
it
on
the
kitchens,
because
that's
what
I'm
supposed
to
do
we're
going
to
get
to
a
question
answer
period
and
we'll
probably
get
there
quicker
than
then
I
had
hoped.
A
A
So
we
find
that
people
are
calling
us
a
lot
about.
How
do
we
do
this?
What
the
process
is,
once
you
pick
the
contractor,
we
will
come
out
with
free
charge,
no
obligation
and
chat
with
you
and
see
what
it
is
that
your
needs
are.
Some
people
say
well,
I
just
want
to
have
cabinets
put
in
it's
a
little
bit
more
more
involved
than
that
you've
got
to
take
into
count
doing
some
heating
electrical
plumbing.
You
may
be
changing
locations
of
where
the
sink
is.
A
A
Ovens
ranges
that
kind
of
stuff,
but
anyway,
so
we
come
out
and
chat
with
you
and
see
what
it
is
that
you
have
prioritized
or
we'll
ask
you
to
prioritize.
What's
the
most
important
thing
for
you
in
doing
a
kitchen
and
then
the
and
take
it
on
down
to
what's
least
important,
then
we'll
do
a
design
for
you
most
times.
I
can't
say
that
a
lot
of
times
we're
limited
due
to
the
square
footage
of
the
house
to
really
make
it
bigger.
A
A
A
A
But
we
see
that
a
lot
of
people
if
you're
planning
on
doing
a
kitchen
and
you're
putting
your
budget
together,
figure
that
you're
going
to
have
or
the
overrun
the
over
cost
is,
could
be
ten
percent.
At
least
I
tell
people
in
your
minds,
because
what
will
happen
is
you'll
you'll
get
into
the
cabinet
shop.
A
When
you
do
when
you
get
to
that
point
after
the
proposal
that
goes
into
a
contract
phase-
and
we
can't
really
start
on
your
project
until
we
know
when
the
cabinets
are
going
to
come
because
that's
a
critical
part,
we
can,
we
can
do
the
mechanical
ruff
endz.
We
can
do
the
gutting
of
the
kitchen,
but
we
don't
want
to
start
until
we
know
what
the
cabinets
are
going
to
be
delivered
so
that
we
can
keep
an
even
smooth
flow
of
the
job.
A
So
the
once
we
have
a
contract
in
place,
we
asked
for,
depending
on
the
size
of
the
job
somewhere
between
five
to
ten
thousand
dollars,
I
don't
take
as
a
consumer
in
in
other
areas.
I
don't
like
to
take
a
lot
of
money
before
I
really
have
done
ever
anything
I
would
never
I.
Don't
ever
want
to
be
tempted
to
take
your
money
and
go
someplace
else
or
do
something.
That's
foolish,
so
I
don't
front
end
load
them
as
much
as
maybe
other
people
do.
A
Maybe
the
countertops
are
on
and
then
we'll
ask
for
another
interim
payment
and
then,
when
we
get
to
the
to
the
end
and
we'll
ask
for
our
final
payment,
I
don't
expect
people
to
pay
us
until
the
job
is
completed.
The
punch
list
is
completed
and
we
get
a
CEO
from
the
building
department
in
whatever
municipality
you're
in
so
back
to
the
contract.
The
first
thing
that
will
happen
is
we
want
to
come
in
and
cover
everything
that
is
a
finished
area,
so
we'll
bag
off
under
the
hallway
that
goes
to
the
bedroom.
A
So
let's
say
we'd
put
if
there's
finished
floors,
we
cover
them
with
rasen
paper,
cardboard,
thin
masonite,
depending
on
whether
it's
a
travel
path
or
whether
we're
going
to
be
dragging
heavy
things
around
that's
when
we'd
have
masonite
in
there,
then
we
drop
everything
on
the
floor,
so
the
walls
come
off.
That
ceiling
sometimes
are
taken
down,
depending
on
how
many
penetrations
we
have
in
the
ceiling.
Sometimes
it's
easier
just
to
pull
it
all
down.
A
It
gives
you
real
good
light.
You
guys
probably
have
old
fixtures
centered
in
the
kitchen.
Perhaps
it
really
brightens
it
up
and
we
put
on
dimmers
so
that
it
can
be
dimmed.
Another
lighting
feature
that
we
have
that's
popular
is
led
rope
lighting
and
it's
got
a
driver.
That's
basically
a
transformer.
A
What
else
do
we
do
so
we
do
these
mechanical
ruffin,
so
you've
got
your
plumbing.
You
mate,
like
I,
was
saying
you
may
move
the
apply
or
the
fixtures
a
lot
of
times
what
we'll
run
into
in
projects
in
older
homes
as
they've
got
different
types
of
waste
pipes,
so
we
might
run
into
a
ductile
steel
cast
iron.
We
might
run
into
galvanized
piping.
At
some
point.
We
have
to
make
a
transition
over
to
plastic,
and
so
that's
all
done
it
at
the
ruffians
stage.
The
next
thing
is
to
do
the
heating.
A
We
may
be
moving
a
heat
run
here
there
we
may
be.
A
lot
of
people
have
non
venting
hood
fans,
so
will
vent
them
for
them
and
bring
it
out
through
the
roof
which
a
lot
of
people
are
pretty
particular
about
that
they
really
want
that.
They've
always
had
the
recirculating
and
they
I
can't
put
up
with
it
anymore.
A
Well,
when
we
have
it
opened
up,
it's
pretty
easy
to
take
care
of
those
kinds
of
issues,
and-
and
that
would
be
one
of
my
questions
to
the
people
that
I
talk
to
then
you've
got
the
electrical.
Quite
often
will
end
up
putting
another
circuit
or
two
in
there.
We
try
and
cover
all
the
bases.
As
far
as
the
electrical
goes,
some
people
like
phone
chargers,
they're
tired
of
having
the
phone
phone
charger
and
the
phone
sitting
on
the
countertop,
so
we'll
do
a
drop
zone
for
them.
It's
just
a
can
be
most
anything.
A
A
A
A
A
We
normally
do
custom
cabinets
and
the
reason
that
we
do
it
or
one
of
the
reasons
that
we
do
it
is
that
we
don't
waste
any
inches
in
your
kitchen.
There's
no
modular
cabinet,
they
might
see
it
a
cash-and-carry.
They
come
in
certain
widths
and
so
you're
limited.
So
if
you've
got
an
extra
2
inches
in
that
kitchen,
I
want
to
use
that
up,
because
if
you've
got
pull
outs
or
something
like
that
that
the
small
you
make
the
box
is
a
smaller,
the
pull
outs
are
going
to
be.
A
A
In
the
return
airs
not
bad
insulation,
but
a
form
of
of
that
to
minimize
the
amount
of
dust
that's
spread
around
the
house,
drywall
is,
is
really
a
difficult
thing
to
try
and
control
and
I
can't
do
a
job
without
having
some
kind
of
a
little
bit
of
dust
coming
forth.
But
you
take
care
of
that
at
the
very
end
we
clean
up
every
day.
All
of
our
subcontractors
are
required
to
clean
up
after
themselves.
A
A
A
So
cabinets
or
hung
I
need
to
go
back
to
the
cabinet
shop.
There's
in
a
kitchen
there's
a
few
selections
that
you
folks
have
to
make.
What
the
floor
finish
is
what
the
light
fixtures,
maybe,
if
we're
going
to
add
surface
mounted
fixtures
to
the
ceilings
or
or
what
have
you
will
need?
A
lot
of
people
are
doing
ceramic
tile,
backsplashes
and
those
are
typically
run
from
the
top
of
the
counter
top
to
the
bottom
side
of
the
upper
cabinets.
A
Appliances,
I
probably
missed
one,
and
when
you
go
into
this
process,
we're
going
to
ask
you
to
make
your
selections
on
your
appliances
and
so
that
when
we
do
our
design,
we
know
what
kind
of
openings
we
have
to
have.
There's
27
inch
wide
cooked
our
wall.
Ovens.
There's
30
inch
well
I
need
to
know
that
otherwise
it
are
going
to
have
another
problem
and
trying
to
mitigate
problems
as
as
what
we
try
to
minimize
ourselves
so
that
we
don't
have
those
issues
at
the
end.
Again,
it's
communication.
A
If
you
don't
have
communication,
you've
got
nothing
so
before
those
kit
that
cabinets
are
set.
We
need
to
have
the
appliances,
that's
the
first
thing
that
we're
going
to
ask
for
and
then
we're
going
to
have
meetings
at
the
cabinet
shop,
and
it's
usually
at
two
meetings.
One
is
to
come
up
and
see
what
they
have
have
a
Salesman
go
through
features
how
they
build
their
stuff.
A
Full
extension.
Drawers
are
popular,
the
old
slides
are,
are
out,
you're
wasting,
you
know
two
or
three
four
inches
of
that
pull
out
or
that
drawer
that
you
can't
get
to
the
drawer
guides
are
now
set
on
the
bottom
of
the
drawer
instead
of
the
sides,
so
you're
not
looking
at
that
ugly
stuff,
and
it
also
gives
us
an
opportunity
to
make
the
drawer
a
little
bit
wider.
A
A
Colors
are
an
issue.
What
kind
of
wood
are
we
using
oak
is
not
being
used
very
much
today,
but
you're
going
to
see
maples
alders,
alderwood
cherry
wood
and
then
once
all
of
those
details
are
put
out
there
and
the
drawing
the
cabinet
man
is
gonna,
come
out
there
and
done
his
field
measure
to
get
this
initial
plan
put
together.
We
go
through
all
of
those
things
and
then
it
seems
like
you
have
to
stand
back
and
kind
of
analyze.
Do
I
really
want
this
here
that
there
is
this
the
right
finish.
A
So
then,
there's
usually
a
second
meeting
up
there,
that's
very
short
in
which
you
finalize
everything
and
you
have
to
sign
off
on
a
plan
again
we're
all
on
the
same
page.
If
we
don't
do
that,
we
have
problems
at
the
end
and
then
they
go
into
production
and
it
usually
takes
somewhere
between
two
to
three
weeks
to
get
a
get
cabinets
built
and
finished.
We
don't
like
to
finish,
am
in
your
house,
because
then
we're
playing
around
with
more
dust,
we're
playing
around
with
varnishes
and
stains,
and
it's
it's
bad
news.
A
They'll
come
to
me
anyways
this
field
measured
and
then
we
need
to
know
what
that
sink
is.
Is
it
a
nun
bouncing
which
seems
to
be
typical
of
what's
put
in
with
hard
surfaces
like
the
Granite's
and
the
Cambrian?
And
so
we
we
need
to
know
the
cutout
size,
usually
there's
a
template
that
comes
with
it,
but
a
lot
of
times
we'll
just
send
the
sink
up
to
the
cabinet
shop.
So
they're,
not
they
know
it's
fits
so
they
did
the
pre
finishing
and
they
came
out
and
they
hung
the
cabinets.
A
We
did
the
measure
for
the
countertops,
that's
usually
about
a
week
and
a
half
usually
two
weeks
from
the
time
they
measured
of
the
time
they
go
set,
and
so
we
have
to
find
a
way
of
filling
time.
But-
and
we
are
usually
pretty
good
at
taking
care
of
other
issue
or
not
other
issues
with
other
part
pieces
to
the
construction
process
countertops
are
set.
The
next
thing
we
do
is
is
start
to
device
out.
A
So
we'll
do
our
finishes,
we'll
get
our
appliances
delivered
and
then
the
electrician
and
the
heating
man
and
the
plumber
will
come
and
start
hooking
up
all
of
their
products
and
making
sure
they
work.
And
then
we
go
into
detailing
out
painting
the
walls.
The
final
coat
I
don't
floor
finishes
we're
seeing
a
lot
of
hardwood
pudding
being
put
back
in
a
lot
of
the
houses
in
Bloomington
that
the.
A
We
want
to
put
our
finish
floor
down
so
that
we
can
drop
our
cabinets
down
on
top
of
those
we
normally
put
in
an
unfinished
floor,
so
it
we
call
them
strip
floors,
they're,
three
quarter
by
whatever
width.
You
want
the
wider,
the
width,
the
more
possibility
you're
going
to
have
that
those
the
floorboards
will
cup
on
you
sometime
the
norm
in
the
industry
is
two
and
a
quarter
by
three
quarter:
thick
tongue
and
grooved.
A
So
that's
installed
prior
to
putting
the
cabinets
down,
I
told
you
I
didn't
have
this
thing
speech
all
put
together,
and
then
we
like
to
finish
it
before
the
cabin
has
come.
So
we
will
grind
on
the
floor
and
a
lot
of
times.
We
end
up
going
down
the
hallway
and
over
to
the
dining
area.
We
grind
them
down
stain
and
we'll
put
one
coat
of
poly
on
before
we
go
and
then
we'll
cover
up
our
floors.
Then
the
guys
come
and
drop
the
cabinets
or
install
the
cabinet's
hardwood
floors.
A
You've,
probably
seen
those
things
before
that
guys
and
commercial
buildings
are
buffing
their
floors.
That's
basically
what
screening
is
and
then
we'll
put
down
that
final
coat
final
coat.
You
have
to
stay
off
of
for
about
a
day,
so
you
can
you're
going
to
have
to
vacate
and
then
you're
going
to.
You
can
come
home
that
evening
and
get
on
that
floor.
It's
going
to
be
a
little
soft,
so
I
limit
the
amount
of
traffic
and
dragging
anything
across
it.
A
So
we've
anyway
so
I'm
going
to
jump
back.
We
finished
up
the
cab
we
finished
up.
Painting
I
got
the
light.
Fixtures
hung
hooked
up
the
the
venting
if
it's
a
space,
saver,
microwave
or
whatever
venting
clients
that
you
have,
and
then
we
clean
up
the
project
and
depending
on
how
people
want
to
do
it,
we
can
send
in
a
cleaning
crew
that
does
new
construction
or
does
new
construction
cleaning.
A
A
It's
not
to
say
that
we
will
only
do
one
punch
list
and
that's
it
we'll,
never
see
you
again.
Thank
you.
You
get
the
tail
light
guarantee.
We
also
have
a
warranty
at
the
one-year
anniversary
and
if
we
were
13
months
or
something
like
that,
that's
not
a
not
an
issue
for
us
and
then
we
have
a
handle.
Please
past.
A
We
do
that
quite
a
bit.
In
fact,
we
do
it
a
lot.
That's
done
at
the
rough
end
stage.
We
don't
know
you
can
have
a
custom-made
window
that
we
can
insert
into
the
rough
opening
and
not
have
to
do
any
changing.
Some
people
want
to
go
wider
with
windows.
So
when
we
open
up
the
the
walls,
that's
when
we
can
put
a
header
in-
and
you
know,
reframe
it
to
take
care
of
that
new
window.
A
A
B
A
A
Oh
and
we
do
a
lot
of
42
inch
cabinets
upper
cabinets
in
height.
Your
standard
ones
are
all
30,
probably
all
have
30
inch
tall
upper
cabinets,
there's
a
lot
of
homes
that
have
soffits
that
are
put
into
the
kitchens
and
we
will
usually
take
those
down
there,
tired
of
them,
and
that
gives
us
the
ability
to
get
the
cabinet
all
the
way
up
to
the
ceiling
or
within
a
couple
inches
in
the
the
molding
then
goes
on.
So
you
actually
gain
another
shelf.
C
A
Yours
is
probably
12
feet
wide
I'm,
guessing
a
cabin.
A
base
cabinet
is
24
inches
deep
with
the
tongue
with
the
top
on
there.
It's
25
I
like
to
have
a
travel
path.
Minimum
of
thirty
six
inches
islands
and
can
be
anywhere
from
standard
is
probably
two
feet
wide
by
whatever
the
length
is,
if
there's
a
being
an
island
there's
another
pathway
on
the
other
side,
so
I
need
another
36
and
then
I
need
another
I've
got
another
Bank
of
cabinets.
A
A
That's
not
a
problem.
No
there's
a
tree
off
of
your
furnace
and
the
furnace
gets
gas
to
it,
and
then
we
just
add
on
to
that
tree
and
take
a
line
back
up
to
know.
The
tricky
part
is
if
we're
working
in
a
kitchen
where
the
basement
is
finished,
that
gets
to
be
an
issue
for
running
gas
lines
and
new
home
runs
for
electrical,
but
usually
find
a
way
around
that
it's
not
uncommon
for
us
to
take
up
a
portion
of
the
floor
rather
than
damage
the
ceiling
and
making
the
project
bigger.
A
Plastic
laminate
has
some
limitations.
If
you
want
to
put
a
sink
in
there,
it's
going
to
have
to
be
a
self
sink,
so
it's
going
to
be
dropped
in
from
the
top,
which
then
gives
you
a
ring
around
your
sink
and
trying
to
get
the
stuff
off
of
the
countertop.
It's
it's
always
going
to
get
trapped
in
there
I
like
to
like
to
put
in
undermount
sinks.
A
A
A
Every
selection
that
you
make
the
colors
are
always
the
same.
They
don't
they
don't
fluctuate
at
all
cambria
likes
to
do
all
their
own
fabrication.
So
if
you
buy
these
countertops
they're
going
to
make
them
they're
going
to
fabricate
them
and
they're
going
to
set
them
for
you,
a
granite
company,
more
than
likely
does
not
do
that.
Granite's
are
popular
quarry
on
that
was
the
top
that
I
was
looking
for.
We
don't
see
a
lot
of
quarry
on
put
in
anymore.
That's
a
solid
surface.
A
Some
more
of
a
plug,
I'm
going
to
say,
plastic.
It's
made
by
Dow,
more
of
a
plastic
kind
of
its
solid,
but
it
is
for
plasticky
and
when
I,
for
trying
to
find
a
word
that
would
describe
it.
You
don't
see
a
lot
of
them
in
the
kitchens
anymore.
You
do
see
them
in
commercial
buildings,
so
you'll
see
them
at
the
twins,
stadium
or
any
high-rise.
You'll
see
that
that
kind
of
product.
It's
it's
easy
to
fix.
It's
easy
to
seem.
You
can
sand
out,
scratches
the
harder
surfaces.
A
A
I
I
think
you
know
a
lot
of
them
will
say:
well
it
you
can
put
a
hot
pan
on
it
or
you
can
spill
grape
juice
on
it.
I
think
you
have
to
have
some
common
sense.
You
know
when
you,
you
don't
take
some
pan
and
throw
it
on
the
countertop
and
not
put
a
something
to
take
the
heat.
So
you,
you
know,
use
some
common
sense.
A
Oh
I
spilt,
the
grape
juice
well
you're,
going
to
let
it
sit
there
for
till
you
get
home
from
work,
that's
just
common
sense
thing:
usually
they
don't
stain
a
granite
having
the
grain
in
it
is
more
porous.
Then
then,
a
quartz
product
courts
products
has
got
a
binder
in
it
of
all
sorts
of
things
mixed
into
it
that
are
impervious,
so
things
don't
get
through
it.
They
they
polish,
both
ports,
end
and
granites.
A
Is
a
quartz
product,
they
all
have
some
minor
limitations
or
one
has
a
better
track
record,
but
they're
either
one
is,
is
going
to
be
fine
again.
Do
you
want
a
lot
of
graining,
or
do
you
want
to
have
more
of
a
uniform
color
on
on
the
top?
I
have
I
go
to
more
of
a
consistent
color?
The
courts
would
give
you
because
they
don't
won't
lose
things
on
the
countertop.
A
A
A
A
A
Month,
usually
wear
this
we're
totally
different
than
these
people.
That
say:
oh,
we
can
do
your
kitchen
in
a
couple
of
days.
Our
philosophy
is
we're
going
to
do
it
right.
Do
it
right
the
first
time
and
if
you're
not
satisfied
and
we'll,
do
it
a
second
time
but
we'll
have
a
come-to-jesus
meeting
and
say
you
know
I'm,
only
human
I'll
try
it
again,
but
it
may
not.
It
may
not
be
any
better,
it
might
be
worse
or
will
it
be
improved,
but
you
need
to
know
that
we've
done
our
best
job.
B
A
From
the
time
that
we've
no
one
we're
going
to
get
our
cabinets,
the
demolition,
the
Ruffin's
and
the
drywall
will
be
a
period
of
about
two
weeks.
Cabinets
are
installed.
Now
we
lost
a
week
for
fabricating
the
tops,
and
then
the
finish
goes
fairly
quickly
too
that'll
be
a
week
to
take
get
the
mechanical
contractors
in
there
do
wall
painting,
put
the
cabinet
knobs
on
all
of
this
kind
of
stuff.
A
Another
advantage
to
having
custom
custom
cabinets
made
is
that
you
have
more
more
selections
in
the
actual
poles
or
the
knobs
that
you
put
on
and
they're
drilled
right
there
in
the
shop.
So
they
all
line
up
and
we're
not
taking
a
drilling
jig
and
trying
to
get
them
to
all
line
up.
It's
a
pain
in
the
drain.
B
A
A
A
We
know
that
it's
as
good,
if
not
better
than
other
products
out
there,
and
they
want
to
control
the
fabrication
of
it
rather
than
taking
a
slab,
whether
it
be
a
Cambria
or
a
piece
of
granite
and
shoving
it
off
to
somebody
and
say
make
something
out
of
it,
and
then
you
get
it.
Then
you
get
into
this
well,
whiting,
the
seam,
matchup
or
whited.
A
Why
isn't
ground
right?
White,
yes,
yeah
and,
and
they
stand
behind
their
product
hundred
percent
in
a
building
contractor,
does
enough
of
these
kind
of
tops
that
if
they
want
the
next
job
or
the
next
job
after
that,
I
better
make
sure
that
I'm
happy
and
if
I'm
happy,
then
you're
happy,
even
though
what
else
watching.
C
A
A
Like
many
good
contractors,
they
have
a
team,
so
they
have
an
electrician.
That
they've
had
experience
with
a
relationship
for
a
long
long
time,
and
everybody
knows
how
they're
going
to
work
together
or
they
are
not
going
to
work
for
me.
They
don't
clean
up
and
I'm
working
for
me.
I
do
check
their
prices,
but
usually
you
know
kitchens
and
mechanicals.
Don't
change
a
lot.
You
know.
I
can
tell
you
that
we
can
pull
out
the
sink
put
in
new
sink
new
faucet
water
to
the
ice
maker.
A
Look
up
the
dishwasher,
that's
1,800!
Bucks
fluids
have
includes
a
builder
series
faucet
or
an
undermount
sink
and
from
there
you
can
go
up.
But
again,
I'm
going
to
give
you
that
I'm
going
to
offer
that
up
too
I'll
tell
you
the
pros
and
cons
of
ye
would
or
would
not
do
it
and
don't
ever
make
the
comparison.
C
A
It
is
it
a
son,
finished
floor
that
has
been
sanded
on-site,
not
a
problem.
We
do
it's
called
to
thing
in
so
we'll
pull
planks
back
and
then
go
and
put
them
back
in
and
get
the
spaces
to
be
random.
So
that's
not
if
you
get
a
good
flooring
contractor
and
I've
got
one
of
one
of
the
best
one
of
the
better
ones,
one
of
the
best
again
that
it's
that
team
and-
and
you
know
you
get
what
you
pay
for.
You
know
and
I
it's
money
and
we
all
go
through
that.
A
A
B
A
We
as
part
of
our
service,
we
offer
offer
up
an
interior
designer
that
I've
been
with
for
18
years,
she's,
not
an
employee,
she's,
a
subcontractor,
but
we've
worked
on
some
mighty
nice
projects
over
the
years
and
my
background
is
new
construction.
So
you
know
these
were
big
projects.
So
yes,
if
you're,
if
you're,
that
type
of
person-
and
it's
not
bad
or
good,
it's
just
a
way.
Your
maid
will
get
you
hooked
up
with
her
and
and
you
pay
you're
paying
time.
A
I
can
get
it
in
sitting
down
with
you
initially
and
we
talk
about
those
things
which
we
will
I'll
be
able
to
budget
in
what
an
average
would
be.
If
you
can't
make
up
your
mind,
it's
more
more
time,
an
interior
designer
will
have
talked
with
you
and
know
what
it
is
that
you're,
what
you
like,
and
today
with
with
the
house
website,
I
mean
you
can
go
and
look
at
all
just
about
anything.
That's
out
there
to
get
ideas
and
if
there's
a
little
snippet
in
the
corner
of
these
pictures,
that's
what
I
want!
A
That's
what
I
you
got
to
convey
to
me
if
you're,
but
if
you're
struggling
an
interior
designer,
if
she's
got
a
good
idea
or
he
what
you're
doing
wanting
to
accomplish
or
what
style
it
is
that
you,
like
they'll,
eliminate
a
lot
of
these
selections
so
that
we
can
get
it
down
to.
You
know
10
15
selections,
and
so
we
we
take
some
of
the
confusion
out
of
it
for
you
and
yeah.
A
She
will
work
on
the
backsplash
countertop,
your
cabinets
with
you
and
I'm
I'm
at
the
cabinet
meeting
to
as
a
builder
I'm
I
want
to
go
there
and
make
sure
that
it's
it's
pretty
seamless
and
I'm.
Also
looking
for
issues
and
things
that
I
can
contribute
to
it.
That's
a
value-added
that
our
company
would
give
you.
A
B
A
You're
in
a
condo
you're
going
to
have
talked
to
the
Association
people
and
say
this
is
what
I
want
to
do
you
own
the
space
in
there?
But
you
don't
you
don't
own
the
wall,
so
it's
really
up
to
you.
Do
I
want
to
put
that
in
there,
of
course,
when
you
sell
it,
you're
good
selling
space,
so
that
would
go
with
it
but
I.
The
first
thing
you
should
do
is
talk
two
days.
The
Association
boredom.
B
A
Don't
think
so
at
you
know,
standing
up
here
and
talking
to
you
if
I
look
at
it
yeah
I'm
gonna,
I'm
going
to
be
thinking
about
that
and
we'll
discuss
those.
But
yes,
we
do
condos
and
townhouses.
It's
not
uncommon
for
people
to
do
that,
a
little
bit
harder,
sometimes,
if
you're
off
of
the
main
floor
to
get
things
into
the
elevator
if
there
is
an
elevator,
so
that
would
be
one
limitation.
B
A
We
do
will
sign
contracts
with
people
and
it's
its
first
come
first
serve
I
mean
a
lot
of
people
and
I've
got
a
lot
of
people
that
I'm
working
within
plans
stage.
They
get
sidelined,
they
do
it
at
their
pleasure
rather
than
mine.
So
whoever
wants
to
go
first
get
served.
First,
I
would
stay
away
from
the
holiday,
so
unless
you're
not
entertaining
I'll
want
not
to
start
something
in
November,
late
November.
A
As
far
as
the
rest
of
the
year,
there
really
is
no
advantage
plus
or
minus
house
is
going
to
be
closed
up
if
it's
cold
out.
So
what
we're
going
to
have
the
windows
open?
If
it's
warm
out,
you
know
so
we're
still
doing
the
dust
routine.
I've
got
some
brochures
up
here.
If
you
want
to
take
them,
I've
got
some
business
cards.
