buzz
for
the
week
of
June
17th
through
the
23rd,
as
we
enter
the
longest
and
hottest
days
of
summer.
Busch
lake
beach
is
now
open
to
the
public
Dudek
open,
19,
the
city
plan
to
close
the
beach
for
the
summer.
After
further
consideration
and
guidance
from
the
Minnesota
Department
of
Health,
the
city
decided
to
open
the
beach
on
June
12th.
With
some
changes,
the
public
restrooms
won't
be
open,
only
porta-potties
will
be
available
and
lifeguards
will
not
be
on
duty.

you
would
anywhere
else,
please
stay
home
if
you
are
sick
practice.
Social
distancing,
especially
with
anybody
outside
your
household
at
least
6
feet,
and
please
wash
your
hands
whenever
possible.
Summertime
in
Minnesota
is
so
precious

we
understand

Everybody
has
been
cooped
up
and
we
wanted
to
provide
recreation
opportunities
for
the
community
super.

Crest
splash
pad
is
also
set
to
open
once
amenity
repairs
have
been
completed,
check
the
city's
website
for
updates
the
Bloomington
family,
Aquatic
Center,
will
remain
closed
for
this
season.
Many
city
facilities
have
been
closed
since
March
20th
and
will
remain
closed
to
the
public.
Many
services
are
available
online
via
phone
or
mail.
Please
call
the
number
on
your
screen
or
check
the
city's
website
before
coming
to
a
city
facility,
the
motor
vehicle
office
reopened
on
May
21st
for
appointment
only
services
and
has
been
very
busy.

need
a
service
at
the
motor
vehicle
office
appointment
times
are
released
each
Thursday
for
the
following
week.
Customers
have
the
option
to
renew
tabs
by
mail
or
Dropbox
to
make
your
appointment
or
answer
questions.
Call
the
number
on
your
screen
or
visit
BLM
slash
vehicle
governor
Walz
recently
signed
a
bill
that
might
allow
you
to
renew
your
drivers
license
online.
It
waives
the
photo
and
vision,
screening
requirements
for
renewing
or
replacing
your
standard
driver's
license
or
ID
card.

long
as
you
haven't
had
a
name
address,
signature
or
card
number
change,
this
change
is
valid
through
June
30th
of
2021
and
applies
only
to
standard
driver's
licenses
visit
drive,
MN
gov
for
more
details.
The
city
anticipates
a
high
demand
for
Real
ID
to
continue,
even
with
the
deadline
being
extended
to
October
of
2021.
The
city
wants
to
hear
from
you
to
help
shape
the
future
of
Bloomington
parks.

hosting
two
virtual
park
system
master
planned
community
listening
sessions,
it's
an
opportunity
to
provide
input
and
share
your
priorities
for
the
city's
parks,
trails
facilities
and
programs.
The
first
is
on
Thursday
June
18th
from
6:30
to
8:00
p.m.
the
second
is
Saturday
June
20th
from
9:00
to
10:30
a.m.
