If
you
plan
to
visit
a
city
building
for
services
that
you
need.
Please
wear
a

July
13th,
the
mayor
issued
a
proclamation
requiring
people
wear
face
coverings
in
all
city
buildings
for
the
latest
on
city
masks,
policies,
visit,
bloomington,
MN,
dot-gov,
a
new
emergency
assistance.
Loan
program
aims
to
help
Bloomington
businesses
negatively
impacted
by
Cova
19.
The
program
has
a
total
of
1.3
million
dollars
to
assist
businesses
through
the
cares
Act.

The
city
is
accepting
applications
now
through
August
3rd,
to
learn
more
and
apply
had
to
BLM

SBA
loan.
Last
year,
the
city
made
affordable
housing
a
top
priority
by
approving
an
opportunity,
housing
ordinance
and
a
15
million
dollar
housing
trust
fund.
Recently,
a
on
a
mission
driven
non-profit
developer,
closed
on
financing
to
build
172
new
units
at
village
club,
which
has
been
renamed
solo
apartments.
The
development
is
located
near
a
mixed-use
transit
corridor,
just
south
of
the
Mall
of
America
to
learn
more
visit,

o
the
city,
is
looking
for.
A
Teens
and
young
adults
to
bring
their
unique
perspectives
to
local
government.
If
you
or
someone
you
know,
is
16
to
23
years
old
and
lives
in
Bloomington,
they
can
apply
to
serve
on
city
commissions,
the
Human
Rights,
Commission
parks,
arts
and
Recreation
Commission
and
sustainability.
Commission
all
have
openings
the
City
Council
values
the
comments
and
recommendations
of
those
who
serve
on
the
Commission's.

and
engagement

Early
absentee
voting
for
the
August
11th
primary
is
well
underway.
If
you
haven't
cast
your
vote
yet
you
have
a
few
options.
If
you'd
like
to
vote
ahead
of
time,
you
can
cast
your
vote
by
mail
to
help
limit
the
number
of
people
you
come
in
contact
with
and
help
prevent
the
spread
of
Cova
19
or
you
can
vote
early
in
person
at
Civic,
Plaza
from
8
a.m.
to
4:30
p.m.

through
Friday.
