July
8th
through
the
14th

school
will
look
like
for
students
and
teachers.
Bloomington
Public
Schools
is
hosting
a
community
engagement
meeting
on
July
14th
at
7
p.m.
district
leaders
will
provide
information
about
planning
for
the
upcoming
school
year.
They
will
cover
information
about
the
new
Bloomington
online
school
facilities
and
instruction
you
can
find
information
about
where
to
watch.
At
the

on
your

A
Amenity
repairs
are
complete
and
the
Cedar
Crest
splash
pad
is
open
for
the
season
Dudek
over
19,
the
city
had
planned
to
close
it
and
bush
lake
beach
for
the
season.
After
further
consideration
and
guidance
from
the
minnesota
department
of
health,
the
city
decided
to
open
in
June,
the
city
hosted
its
first
ever
drive-in
movie
for
the
public.
The
event
was
in
the
parking
lot
of
Bloomington
ice
garden.
It
was
at
capacity
with
250
people
in
attendance
per
the
governor's
space
safe
order.
A
Residents
voted
on
the
movie
on
the
parks
and
recreation
Facebook
page
in
advance
of
the
screening
secret
life
of
pets.
Too,
was
the
winner,
Parks
and
Rec
hopes
to
host
another
drive-in
movie
in
the
city
in
the
near
future,
follow
them
on
Facebook
for
the
latest,
from
a
modern
day,
drive-in
to
a
flashback
in
time.
In
1966,
a
drive-in
theater
opened
at
7800
France
Avenue
south
it
launched
with
a
double
feature.
The
Man
France
Avenue
drivin
was
called
the
world's
most
distinctive
drive-in
theater
and
had
space
for
about
1,600
cars.
A
Unfortunately,
all
good
shows
must
come
to
an
end.
The
last
time
a
movie
was
shown
there
was
1982
and
it
was
raised
four
years
later,
a
big
congratulations
to
Bloomington's
communications
team.
They
were
honored
with
five
awards
at
the
Minnesota
Association
of
government
communicators,
Northern
Lights,
Awards
virtual
event.
A
first-place
award
was
given
for
the
2019
corporate
report
to
the
community
and
the
graphics
work
for
the
Bloomington
engagement
vehicle
was
also
awarded
first,
the
Bloomington
briefing
and
life
in
Bloomington
photos
contest
both
received
second-place
awards
and
the
2019
State
of
the
City
received.
