Welcome
to
bloomington
today,
I'm
emily
taplin
thanks
for
joining
us.
Now
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
august
12th
through
the
18th.
The
city
has
expanded
a
tool
to
help
residents
get
connected
to
resources
they
need.
The
coven
19
outbreak
has
had
an
enormous
impact
on
people's
health,
work
finances
and
day-to-day
lives.
Bloomington
public
health
has
a
resource
line.
You
can
call
if
you
need
assistance
accessing
food,
housing,
medical
care,
transportation
or
other
resources.
A
B
A
very
difficult
time
for
many
families
right
now
and
there
are
a
lot
of
resources
available
in
the
community,
but
many
times
it's
hard
to
find
them,
and
so
we
at
public
health
have
a
lot
of
experience
in
the
community
over
many
years.
Many
of
these
agencies
we've
worked
with
several
times
before,
and
so
we
can
be
really
helpful
in
directing
families
to
the
resources
that
might
be
best
for
them
at
that
time.

If
you
have
a
lawn
sign
in
your
yard
here
are
some
helpful
reminders,
be
sure
that
the
sign
follows
city
ordinances.
They
can't
be
placed
on
publicly
owned
land
utility,
poles,
street
signs
trees
or
between
sidewalks
and
the
street.
They
have
to
go
on
private
property,
going
onto
someone
else's
property
or
lawn
to
damage
or
steal.
Their
sign
is
against
the
law.
