Description
MSP runway closures could create nighttime noise for Bloomington residents, an update on COVID-19 vaccines administered by Public Health and closed captions are available for City meetings.
A
A
Construction
and
maintenance
activities
have
two
runways
closed
overnight,
redirecting
air
traffic
and
increasing
nighttime
noise
over
bloomington,
the
metropolitan
airports.
Commission
has
a
24-hour
noise
complaint
hotline
for
any
concerns
you
might
have.
That
number
is
listed
on
your
screen
as
of
june
17th
bloomington
public
health
administered,
nineteen
thousand
six
hundred
covid19
vaccine
doses
to
area
residents.
Since
early
this
year,
public
health
has
transitioned
from
clinics
at
civic,
plaza
to
the
public
health
center
with
clinics
for
people
18
years
and
older
every
thursday
afternoon.

If

The
annual
event
was
canceled
last
year
due
to
the
pandemic,
but
is
back
on
for
tuesday
august
3rd.
The
goal
of
national
night
out
is
to
build
relationships
within
your
neighborhoods
and
with
local
law
enforcement.
B
Oftentimes
people
actually
meet
with
law
enforcement
during
incidences
of
high
stress
or
crime
or
reporting
an
incident
that
is
maybe
it's
a
medical
issue
or
their
home
was
burglarized
and
we
just
love
national
night
out
because
it's
an
opportunity
to
just
socialize
and
engage
just
on
a
positive
level.
So
we
really
look
forward
to
just
getting
out
in
the
community
again
in
this
way.
