Welcome

today,
I'm

thanks

First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
october
27th
through
november
2nd
a
busy
bloomington
intersection
could
soon
see
safety
improvements.
The
city
is
working
in
partnership
with
hennepin
county
on
a
safety
improvement
project
at
the
98th
and
normandale
boulevard,
intersection.
B
This
intersection
is
labeled
as
one
of
hennepin
county's
prioritized
urban
intersections
on
their
roadway
safety
plan
due
to
a
high
frequency
of
crashes,
as
well
as
some
challenging
sight
lines
for
the
the
larger
channelized
right
turn
lanes
that
are
in
the
intersection.
There's
also
some
ada
accessibility
concerns.
Some
of
the
intersection
needs
to
be
brought
up
to
ada
compliance
and
there's
also
some
pedestrian
mobility
concerns
in
the
intersection.
A
B
A
Construction
on
the
project
would
begin
in

or

Metro

kraus
anderson
has
proposed
a
partial
redevelopment
of
the
clover
shopping
center
at
lindell
avenue
and
98th
street
lake.
Winds
with
over
23
000
square
feet
would
anchor
the
first
phase
of
redevelopment.
A
According
to
the
plans,
a
future
phase
calls
for
an
eight-story
119
unit
apartment
building
with
retail
space
along
lindell
avenue.
The
project
received
a
hearing
at

and
is
scheduled
to
go
before
the
city
council
on
november
15th
provide
your
input
to
help
shape
the
future
of
bloomington.
A
As
we've
shared
with
you
here
on
bloomington
today,
the
city
is
launching
a
strategic
planning
effort
that
will
involve
the
community
in
decisions
for
the
future.
The
initiative
is
called
bloomington
tomorrow.
Together,
there
are
many
ways
to
get
involved,
including
registering
for
a
community
cafe
where
you
can
discuss
your
ideas
and
plans
for

with
