First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
june
9th
through
the
15th
for
the
majority
of
the
past
15
months,
civic
plaza
has
been
closed
to
the
public
due
to
coven,
19
and
services
have
been
by
appointment.
Only
the
building
will
reopen
to
the
public
on
june
14th,
in
accordance
with
guidance
from
the
centers
for
disease
control
and
prevention.
The
city
asks
that,
if
you
are
not
yet
vaccinated,
you
please
wear
a
mask
indoors
for
an
entire
list
of
guidance
visit
cdc.gov.

If
you
need
help
getting
connected
to
a
coven
19
vaccine
visit.
The
web
address
provided
by
the
minnesota
department
of
health
on
your
screen
phase
two
of
concrete
and
bridge
joint
work
has
started
on
two
bloomington
bridges.
The
work
on
the
american
boulevard
and
auto
club
road
bridges
means
traffic
is
down
to
one
lane
in
both
directions.
This
second
phase
of
the
project
is
expected
to
last
until
mid
to
late
june.
The
contractor
anticipates
starting
work
on
the
west
106th
street
traffic
and
pedestrian
bridges
over
nine
mile
creek.

The
park
system
master
plan
is
a
road
map
for
planning
and
completing
park
improvements
and
guiding
capital
investments
to
ensure
the
services
facilities,
amenities
and
programs
meet
the
needs
of
the
community.
Today
and
in
the
future,
the
city
has
been
gathering
input
from
the
community.
On
this
plan.
Since
november
of
2019.,
there
will
be
a
public
hearing
on
the
plan
at
the
june
14th
council
meeting,
and
it
goes
to
the
council
on
august
2nd
for
final
approval.

Registration
for
the
2021
national
night
out
is
officially
open.
The
annual
event
was
canceled
last
year
due
to
the
pandemic,
but
is
back
on
for
tuesday
august
3rd.
The
goal
of
national
night
out
is
to
build
relationships
within
your
neighborhoods
and
with
local
law
enforcement
register.
Your
block
party,
by
following
the
short

your

june,
is
pride
month
a
time
to
celebrate
the
contributions
of
folks
from
the
lgbtq
plus
community
and
the
contributions
they've
made
to
achieve
equal
justice
on
june
7th.

city
council
read
a
proclamation
to
fly
the
new
progressive
pride
flag.
The
new
flag
includes
black
and
brown
stripes
to
represent
people
of
color
and
those
living
with
or
have
been
lost
to
aids.
The
white
light
pink
and
blue
represent
non-binary
and
transgender
individuals.
The
colors
are
in
a
right
facing
arrow
to
indicate
forward
moving.
