us.
First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
weeks
of
june
30th
through
july
13th
funding,
requests
to
replace
the
public
health
building
and
make
improvements
at
bloomington
ice
garden
have
been
submitted.
In
june,
the
city
submitted
a
capital
bonding
request
to
the
state
for
the
governor's
2022
budget
to
partially
fund
a
new
public
health
building.
A
On
june
14,
the
city
council
approved
a
resolution
to
submit
two
capital
budget
requests
to
the
state
with
the
public
health
facility
as
the
first
priority
and
improvements
to
big
as
the
second.
Both
facilities
have
been
identified
by
the
city
as
regional
assets
serving
communities
beyond
bloomington.

The
architectural
firm
hga
has
provided
an
estimate
of
17
million
dollars
to
replace
the
public
health
building.
Any
updates
will
be
provided
when
governor
tim
walls
presents
his
capital
budget
to
the
legislature.
In
january,
2022
creekside
community
center
will
be
buzzing
with
activity
again
in
july.
It
will
be
open
for
indoor
activities
on
thursday
july,
8th
with
the
reopen
house
on
july,
7th
from
9
a.m.
To
noon
some
favorite
activities,
including
arts
and
crafts,
car
groups,
education,
fitness,
music
and
recreation-
will
all
be
back.

will
follow
the
hours
of
operation
listed
on
your
screen
through
the
rest
of
2021.
