A
Welcome
to
bloomington
today,
I'm
emily
taplin
thanks
for
joining
us.
We
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
january
13th
through
the
19th
on
december
23rd
bloomington
public
health
received
its
first
shipment
of
the
covid19
vaccine.
The
shipments
will
be
coming
on
a
regular
basis
and
currently
public
health
is
working
to
vaccinate
local
first
responders.
B
It's
incredibly
exciting.
We
have
a
tool
to
help
us
end
this
pandemic.
It's
just
ecstatic
among
our
staff.
We
we
were
able
to
get
a
vaccine
to
stop
people
from
getting
sick
from
kovid
less
than
a
year
after
we
discovered
this
virus
existed.
This
only
happened
with
kovid
because
of
the
fact
that
we
were
able
to
do
things
consecutively
fund
it
incredibly
well,
and
it
was
built
upon
decades
of
research
that
we
had
platforms
and
tools
that
we
could
put
into
place
immediately
and
start
clinical
trials
versus
waiting
to
develop
things.
A
A
Meals
will
continue
to
be
served
monday
through
friday
from
5
30
to
6
30
pm
the
executive
director
kathy
mays,
says
serving
healthy
and
free
meals
continues
to
be
a
top
priority
of
their
mission
and
they
are
relieved
to
continue
serving
the
community
without
interruption.
You
can
now
find
the
bloomington
police
department
