First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
april
6th
through
the
12th,
a
friendly
reminder
to
gather
your
items
for
curbside
cleanup
this
coming
saturday
april.
9
items
will
be
picked
up
at
homes,
with
a
tuesday
hauling
day
from
penn
to
portland
avenue.

reminder
that
curbside
cleanup
will
now
be
held
every
other
year
on
even-numbered
years,
and
small
items
are
no
longer
accepted
for
a
full
list
of
changes,
dates
and
guidelines
head
to
blm.mn.

Or
visiting
blm
dot,
mn
juan
happy
golfing
bird
scooters
are
coming
to
bloomington.
In
march,
the
city
council
approved
a
memorandum
of
understanding
with
bird
inc
that
will
allow
the
company
to
launch
their
e-scooter
sharing
service
in
the
city.
The
council
limited
the
areas
where
the
birds
will
be
allowed.
Those
neighborhoods
include
the
south
loop
pen,
american
district
and
the
normandale
lake
development.
District
geo-fencing
technology
will
ensure
scooters,
don't
work
outside
of
those
areas.
Bird
hopes
to
have
the
scooters
out
by
mid-april.

police
department
is
currently
hiring
9-1-1
dispatchers.
