First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
july
13th
through
the
19th,
the
city
of
bloomington's,
commitment
to
advance
racial
equity
continues.
The
city
recently
established
the
office
of
racial
equity,
inclusion
and
belonging
in
june
staff.
Members
of
the
office
hosted
a
number
of
events
to
connect
and
answer
questions
about
the
mission,
values
and
purpose
of
the
office.

We
created
this
new
office
as
a
way
to
sustain
the
racial
equity
and
inclusion
work
that
we've
been
doing
over
the
last
three
years,
and
so
by
expanding
our
work
and
expanding
our
team.
Hiring
new
equity
includes
and
program
specialists.
What
we
hope
is
that
we'll
be
able
to
embed
this
work
throughout
every
department
in
the
organization
and
make
sure
that
it's
something
that
continues
from
time
to
time.

The
annual
event
is
on
for
tuesday
august
2nd.
The
goal
of
national
night
out
is
to
build
relationships
within
your
neighborhoods
and
with
local
law
enforcement
register.
Your

party,
by
following
the

renovation
to
its
visitor
center,
the
minnesota
valley,
national
wildlife
refuge,
will
be
reopening
its
confluence

this
month.
