First,
we
bring
you
the
buzz
for
the
week
of
may
18th
through
the
24th
members
of
the
bloomington
police
department
gathered
for
a
ceremony
in
honor
of
national
police
week
this
year
national
police
week
was
recognized,
may
15
through
the
21st
on
peace
officers.

Every
person
that
puts
on
this
uniform
pays
a
cost.
Some
of
us
unfortunately
pay
the
ultimate
cost,
which
is
the
loss
of
our
lives.
That's
the
one
thing
that
we
cannot
get
back.
This
is
the
most
noble
profession
on
the
face
of
the
earth
and
I
firmly
believe
that
and
everybody
that's
here,
look
at
these
police
officers.

Food
inflation
and
supply
chain
shortages
are
hitting
local
food
pantries
hard
veep
says
many
of
the
items
it
generally
has
in
stock
are
harder
to
get
and
they're
looking
to
the
community
for
support.
Those
items
include
things
like
whole
grain,
rice,
toilet
paper,
paper,
towels,
diapers
and
more.

city
currently
has
a
donation
bin
set
up
at
creekside
community
center,
where
you
can
drop
off
items
monday
through
thursday
from
8
a.m,
to
3,
30
p.m
and
fridays
8
a.m
to
1
p.m.
The
bin
will
be
at
creekside
until
may
31st
if
you're
looking
for
other
ways
to
help.
Veep
has
great
purchasing
power
and
can
stretch
a
one
dollar
donation
into
three
meals.

be

annual
plant
exchange.

gardener

The
free
plant
exchange
is
an
opportunity
to
donate
exchange
or
adopt
indoor,
outdoor
and
vegetable
plants.
