we

you
the
Buzz
for
the
week
of
July
26th
through
August
1st
seal
coating
has
started
in
the
city.
Crews
began
sealcoating
streets
on
Monday,
July
24th
streets
will
remain
open
to
traffic
during
the
seal.
Coat
process
affected
streets
will
be
marked
with
signs
and
there
will
be
temporary
no
parking
during
daytime
hours
for
a
sealcoating
progress.

they'll,
keep
you
posted
on
things
like
road
closures
and
detours
just
visit
the
short

the
four-year
project.
Art
and
engagement
plans
for
the
city's
Small
Business
Center
continue
to
take
shape.
The
city
has
been
hosting
workshops
to
engage
with
the
community
and
continue
to
get
feedback
on
plans
for
the
Small
Business
Center,
which
will
be
located
at
the
former
fire
station
number.

The
Small
Business
Center
will
serve
as
a
space
for
aspiring
entrepreneurs
by
providing
educational
and
Financial
Resources,
creating
long-lasting
jobs
that
will
benefit
the
community
and
drive
economic
growth.
The
Small
Business
Center
has
received
more
than
1.5
million
dollars
in
Grants
to
repurpose
the
former
fire
station
with
a
goal
of
opening
in
2024..
If

open
house
will
be
on

August

from

A.M
to
2
p.m.
Right

at
former
fire
station

anybody
from
the
community
is
welcome
to
stop
in
anytime
during
those
hours.
There's
no
set
program,
but
just
take
a
tour
of
the
facilities,
see
some
of
the
architectural
drawing.
What
that
space
is
imagined
to
look
like
and
ask
questions
of
the
architect
team
and
also
City
staff.

Wednesday
August
9th,
the
city
will
host
a
job
fair
at
Creekside
Community
Center,
the
free
job;
fair,
connects
attendees
with
local
businesses
eager
to
welcome
older
adults
and
retirees
to
their
Workforce
for
paid
part-time
and
seasonal
opportunities.

happening
from
1
to
4
P.M
at
Creekside
and
is
being
co-sponsored
by
Bloomington
Parks
and
Recreation
Public
Health,
Ebenezer
senior
living
and
Martin
Luther
living
and
Senior
Care
to
learn
more
