A
Thank
you.
Welcome
to
Bloomington
today,
I'm
Emily
taplin
thanks
for
joining
us.
First,
we
bring
you
the
Buzz
for
the
weeks
of
April
5th
through
the
18th.
This
is
your
friendly
reminder
that
curbside
cleanup
is
now
held
every
other
year
on
even
numbered
years.
That
means
no
curbside
Cleanup
in
2023,
but
we
have
a
list
of
alternatives
for
you.
As
part
of
the
bulky
item
Management
program,
the
city
is
piloting
a
new
service
for
a
monthly
collection
of
certain
bulky
items
for
reuse
and
recycling.
A
Some
items
that
were
collected
during
the
cleanup,
like
appliances
and
metal
items,
can
be
taken
year
round
to
the
Hennepin
County
problem
waste
drop-off
center
located
here
in
Bloomington.
The
facility
also
accepts
Electronics
hazardous
waste,
extra
recyclables
and
more
for
items
that
need
to
be
picked
up
as
garbage
as
well
as
large
appliances
and
electronics.
You
can
also
schedule
bulky
item
pickups
year
round
for
a
fee
through
utility
billing
and
each
year
the
city
will
host
a
recycling
drop-off
event.
The
first
was
held
in
Fall
of
2022
and
there
will
be
one
again.
This
fall.

A
B
Been
taking
pictures
professionally
for
10
years,
but
had
my
hand
on
a
camera
when
I
was
seven
years
old,
so
I've
been
taking
pictures
for
a
long
time.
Most
of
these
image
that
you
see
required
my
getting
on
an
airplane
to
take
the
image
that
you
see
here
today,
but
most
of
them
just
require
just
getting
your
car
and
driving
to
the
North
Shore,
where
I
love
to
shoot
up
near
Lake,
Superior
to
Harbors
Silver
Bay,
which
is
just
an
absolutely
gorgeous
place
to
practice.
My
craft
Landscapes
I
love
the
beauty
before
I.
B
Take
any
picture.
I
have
to
feel
it
within
my
heart,
but
there
are
three
items
that
I
specifically
look
for
before
I
snap,
the
shutter
and
the
first
one
is
flow
relationships
and
simplicity.
I,
don't
try
to
make
the
shot
too
complicated,
I,
try
to
add
some
sort
of
depth
with
a
foreground
background
leading
the
viewer
through
the
picture
trying
to
keep
them
in
the
image
as
long
as
possible.
A
A
The
Bloomington
symphony
orchestra
normandale's
concert
choir
the
Angelica
Encore
Chorale
Ensemble
and
Twin
Cities
Catholic
Chorale
are
joining
forces.
This
is
footage
of
them.
During
a
recent
rehearsal
at
Creekside,
Community
Center
they'll
be
performing
Beethoven's
Ninth
together
on
Sunday
April
16th
at
Orchestra
Hall
in
Minneapolis.
This.
D
Important
thing
about
coming
to
a
concert
like
this
is
that
the
experience
is
what
you
call
a
total
Music
Experience.
You
not
only
have
a
full
Symphony
Orchestra.
You
have
an
85
piece
course.
You
have
four
soloist
soprano
Alto
tenor
and
bass,
just
singing
their
hearts
out
in
a
message
that
Beethoven
wanted
at
his
worst
time
to
be
about
Joy.
He
could
have
written
about
love,
but
he
decided
not
to
do
that.
D
E
F
To
me
is
the
most
universal
language
like
anyone
like
it's
just
it's
everywhere,
like
no
matter
where
you're
going,
you
can
take
a
step
and
there's
always
going
to
be
music
there,
either
in
your
ears,
in
your
head
out
on
the
street,
someone
blasting
music
like
walking
the
music
of
life.
Like
you
hear,
birds
chirping,
like
trees,
just
blowing
in
the
wind
making
noises
it
is
beautiful
and
to
like,
finally,
as
a
community
to
come
together
and
make
huge
noise
I
think
that's
the
peak
of
humanity.
