Description
In this week's Verbrugge View, I provide some information on this year's Employee Giving Campaign and how employees can participate.
A
Hello
and
welcome
back
to
the
verb
Rubio
an
insider's
Edition.
Today
we
only
have
one
topic
and
it's
going
to
be
a
quick
hit.
It's
once
again
announcing
its
time
of
the
year
for
the
employee,
Giving
Campaign.
This
is
your
opportunity
to
join
us
in
making
the
world
or
our
state
or
your
community
we're
Bloomington
a
better
place
to
be
through
just
a
little
bit
of
generosity
on
your
part.
A
In
addition
to
the
standard
organizations
that
we
have
as
options
to
participate,
we
added
the
Bloomington
Community
Foundation
and
I
really
think
that
had
a
lot
to
do
with
the
increased
numbers.
As
many
people
chose
that,
because
they
could
localize
the
impact
of
their
giving
and
once
again
we're
encouraging
you
to
think
about
how
we
can
through
our
actions,
demonstrate.
A
We
are
one
Bloomington,
and
so
the
Bloomington
Community
Foundation
option
is
one
way
that
we
can
do
that
by
taking
a
little
bit
of
what
we
have
and
providing
it
as
a
as
a
donation
back
to
the
community
to
make
Bloomington
a
better
place
to
be,
or
if
you're,
motivated
by
the
work
that
any
of
our
other
charitable
organizations
by
the
work.
They
do,
that
you
have
that
opportunity
available.
A
But,
more
importantly,
is
just
a
request
that
you
think
about
participating,
even
even
if
it
is
in
what
may
seem
like
a
very
small
way,
just
through
five
or
ten
dollars,
one-time
just
to
get
in
the
habit
of
saying
that
as
the
city
of
Bloomington,
that
we
all
come
together
to
make
the
world
a
little
bit
better
place
to
be.
So
the
employee,
Giving
Campaign
will
run
through
December
22nd
and
our
HR
rep
Tory
Addison.
A
If
you
haven't,
met
her,
it's
a
good
excuse
to
go
up
and
say
hi
to
her
she's
she's,
coordinating
this
year's
Giving
Campaign
and
then
you'll
see
the
first
deduction
if
you
choose
the
bi-weekly
payroll
deduction
and
the
second
paycheck
of
January.
So
again,
thank
you
in
advance
for
your
generosity.
Thank
you
for
what
you
do
to
make
Bloomington
and
the
world
a
better
place
to
be
and
we'll
see
you
next
time
on
the
Verburg
Evo.
