City
of
Bloomington
doesn't
do
a
lot
of
old
rehabilitation
projects
because
a
lot
of
the
community
was
built
in
the
early
50s
yeah.
We
have
our
old
town
hall
and
we
have
some
significant
historic
properties
around
town,
but
we
don't
have
a
lot
of
them.
So
it's
a
fairly
unique
project
for
the
city
of
Bloomington.
This.

Will
look
very
similar
to
what
the
bridge
looked
like
in
1920s?
It
won't
look.
What
probably
a
lot
of
people
remember.
A
lot
of
people
remember
the
wood
deck
that
got
put
in
in
the
50s.
That's
not
original!
Their
original
deck
was
concrete.
So
we're
going
to
go
back
to
the
1920
concrete
we're
going
to
paint
it
the
same
1920s
industrial
gray
color.
So
it
won't
be
the
lovely
rusty
metal
that
you
see
today.
You.
A
People
probably
won't
be
able
to
use
it
until
the
following
spring.
That's
because
crews
will
have
to
remove
this
temporary
span
safely.
The
special
mix
lightweight
concrete
on
the
bridge
will
also
need
time
to
settle
without
salt,
but
by
next
year
long
hopes.
This
historical
bridge
will
be
a
blast
from
the
past.
Everyone
can
enjoy.
