A
C
A
C
D
A
And
then
number
three
is
our
consent
agenda.
All
items
with
an
asterisk
are
considered
to
be
routine
by
the
council
and
will
be
enacted
by
one
motion.
There
will
be
no
separate
discussion
on
these
items
unless
a
council,
member
or
citizen
so
requests
in
which
the
item
will
be
removed
from
the
general
order
of
business
and
considered
in
its
normal
sequence.
C
A
Just
for
clarification
will
that
be
considered
separately.
It.
A
D
D
A
C
Given
that
we
have
two
of
us
here,
perhaps
we
could
discuss
this
and
then
make
the
motion
so
that
if
we
get
a
second
we'll
get
it
here
in
the
room.
E
We're
we're
working
this
out,
we're
not
used
to
just
three
of
us
here.
I
asked
for
this
travel
request
to
come
off
the
consent
agenda.
This
particular
request
is
obviously
fifty
five
hundred
dollars
to
go
to
Europe
for
a
conference.
I
do
not
believe
that
that
is
a
taxpayer
dollars
well
spent
I,
don't
think
it's
fiscally
responsible
to
send
a
city
employee
to
Europe
on
taxpayer
dollars
the
money
that
or
excuse
me.
The
information
that
we
received
in
our
packet
did
not
seek
or
say
that
there
was
Private
funding.
E
A
Thank
you.
I
just
want
to
note
that
the
travel
expenditure
is
for
a
library
conference
that
happens
every
other
year
in
Europe,
it's
one
of
the
best
in
class
Library
conferences
and
is
considered
essential
for
for
librarians
of
the
caliber
of
Boise
City
Librarians,
so
I
definitely
support
the
travel
expenditure.
C
Yes,
I'm
going
to
move
to
approve
the
request,
because,
although
it's
a
lot
of
money
on
this
trip,
I,
don't
really
recall
a
ton
of
travel
in
the
library
and
we
do
dribs
and
drabs
in
other
departments
that
add
up
to
a
lot
more
than
this.
So
although
it's
a
large
single
request,
I
understand
it's
an
important
trip
and
you
know
on
the
net,
I
I,
don't
think
it's
much
more
than
other
departments
spend.
Thank.
B
E
D
I'll
second,
the
motion,
yeah
I,
also
give
the
motion.
I
have
a
comment
great.
D
Yeah
Madam
Mary,
yes,
I
I,
totally
understand
the
concern
with
taxpayer
dollars
and
making
sure
that
we're
spending
this
correctly
I
also
know
that
we
do
have
some
other
funding
sources
at
the
library
that
sometimes
help
with
some
of
these
expenses.
You
know
whether
that's
the
friends
of
the
library
or
a
few
other
things
that
are
there.
D
They
can
be
challenging
because
you
don't
know
exactly
what
it's
going
to
go
to,
and
so,
if
you
don't,
if
you
haven't
been
to
the
library
conference
before
or
if
you
don't
know
the
significance
of
it,
which
I
don't
it's
kind
of
hard
to
figure
out
like
you
know,
what's
worth
it
and
what's
not
worth
it,
but
what
we
hope
is
that
people
are
going
to
go
and
they're
going
to
get
a
level
of
training
that
you
know
that's
going
to
come
back
and
make
the
city
stronger,
and
we
also
know
that
we
we
want
to
make
sure
that
our
our
libraries,
you
know,
stick
to
a
budget,
any
Department
sticks
to
a
budget
and
that
they
use
those
funds
for
whatever
the
best
purpose
is,
and
so
in
this
circumstance
you
know,
I
have
to
have
some
faith,
I
guess
in
the
in
the
library
director
and
the
library
staff
that
they
think
that
this
is
the
best
use
of
funds.

C
D
Yes,
in
order
to
not
say
this
for
later
I
just
thought
I
would
bring
up
a
couple
of
these
address.
Some
issues
that
we've
experienced
with
the
Boise
cruise
and
trying
to
improve
the
improve
the
environment.
That's
down
in
downtown
Boise,
for
restaurants,
for
pedestrians
and
really
for
other
drivers
that
are
on
the
road
and
I
know
that
this
was
a
tremendous
amount
of
work
that
you
put
in,
and
so
I
just
wanted
to.
Thank
you
for
the
work
that
was
done
with
this
and
then
also
thank
the
staff
as
well.
D
I
know
our
clerk's
office
and
our
Police
Department
have
done
a
lot
of
work
with
this
I
think
other
departments
as
well
so
just
just
good
work.
I
think
this
is
a
really
good
first
step
and
then
I
think
that
there's
still
some
Street
design
stuff
that
I'm
even
more
convinced
now
that
I'm
at
a
transportation
Summit
in
DC
that
we
can
use
to
address
some
of
these
issues.
But
I
just
wanted
to
say
thank
you
and
good
job.
E
Madam
mayor,
yes,
I'd
like
to
also
echo
my
thanks.
I
know
this
was
a
lot
of
work.
It
was
a
heavy,
lift
and
I
think
what's
great
about
this.
Is
that
why
we
call
it
the
Boise
Downtown
cruise?
We
also
know
the
areas
of
the
city
have
this
happening
and
we're
making
sure
that
everyone
has
the
opportunity
to
have
a
peaceful
neighborhood
and
that
we're
addressing
it
Citywide.
So
thank
you
for
your
work.
I
know
this
was
at
impetus,
but
we're
going
to
have
great
things
happening
in
the
city
because
of
it.
A
Thank
you
and
I
just
want
to
further
thank
folks
who
really
added
their
input
to
the
kind
of
Shoring
up
of
this
ordinance,
because
it's
not
really
a
new
ordinance.
It's
just
a
new
way
of
looking
at
it,
so
that
it's
easier
to
enforce.
C
B
A
C
B
A
Second
right,
we
have
a
motion
in
a
second.
Is
there
any
discussion
on
this
resolution?
I
just
want
to
note
that
these
last
two
resolutions
are
directly
related
to
the
fines
and
penalties
related
to
I,
guess
breaking
our
ordinance
when
it
comes
to
particularly
noise,
so
that
the
penalties
will
be
a
little
bit
harsher
now
to
try
to
really
curb
some
of
those
problem.
Behaviors
any
further
discussion,
all
right
clerk.
Will
you
please
call
the
roll
willitz.
