A
A
A
B
Madam
mayor
council
members,
I'm
here
tonight
to
speak
to
a
request
for
a
land
surplus
at
3912
west
state
street
as
part
of
the
public
hearing
I'll
be
providing
a
quick
overview
of
the
property
and
state
staff
findings
for
a
recommendation
to
convey
the
property
mary
grant
from
legals.
Here,
she's
been
a
big
help
and
she'll
be
here
to
answer
any
legal
questions
about
the
surplus
property.
B
The
property
is
associated
with
the
entitled
housing
land
trust
property
project
that
stayed
in
arthur,
we're
hoping
to
surplus
the
southernmost
tip
of
the
site.
The
narrow
triangle
makes
difficult
the
design
of
the
efficient
design
of
multi-family
housing.
We
intend
to
surplus
about
600
square
feet
and
then
complete
a
land
swap
with
the
adjacent
neighbor
for
a
pr
for
a
portion
of
their
property
of
similar
site
or
a
similar
size
and
shape.
B
This
would
represent
a
big
win
for
both
the
city
and
the
adjacent
property
owner.
It
will
create.
It
will
square
off
the
edge
of
the
site,
which
allows
for
a
more
compatible
development
pattern
on
our
side,
as
well
as
more
desirable
development
on
the
retail
side,
and
this
opens
up
no
less
than
four
additional
housing
units,
as
well
as
creating
a
more
comfortable
space
for
that.
What
we
have
proposed,
which
is
a
retail
service
potential
daycare
site
on
that
corner
and
just
to
provide
a
visual
example
of
what
this
would
be.
B
An
alien
here
is
the
approved
rendering
it
has.
The
project
has
received
both
planning
and
zoning
and
design
review
approval,
so
we're
looking
at
101
units
on
this
site,
and
so
we
have
gone
through
the
required
process
to
surplus
the
land
and
the
next
step.
D
Adam
here
just
real
quickly,
there
was
reference
to
the
two
trees
that
are
on
these
small
remainder
sites
and
I
believe
one
of
them
is
going
to
be
preserved
and
the
other
one
I
assume,
will
be
mitigated
because
it
will
be
cut
down.
Is
that
correct.
B
A
All
right,
it
looks
like
there's
nothing
further,
I'm
just
I
just
want
to
say
thanks.
This
is
a
great
I
mean
a
lot
more
comes
out
of
such
a
small
who
would
who
would
have
thought
such
a
small
surplus
and
trade
and
would
make
it
possible
to
have
that
many
more
units
and
homes
for
boiseans
and
really.
D
A
Really
exciting
project
in
general,
that's
happening
right
there.
So
thank
you
for
all
your
work
on
that.
