If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
B
C
Oh
for
many
chairs,
you
are
delightful,
so
hello.
C
We
have
a
fairly
short,
as
you
can
see
agenda
today.
The
only
item
that
we
will
really
need
to
discuss
is
the
improvement
project
application
that
was
in
your
packet.
I
hope
that
you
all
received
the
updated
memo
this
afternoon.
Thank
you
martha
for
making
those
adjustments.
C
There
was
a
little
bit
of
confusion
with
regard
to
the
budget
that
we
had
clarified
it,
and
so
the
new
memo
is
the
correct
amount
that
that
boise
state
and
the
city
are
seeking
levy
funds
for
if
that
makes
sense,
so
I'm
gonna
kind
of
tee
this
up
a
little
bit
and
we
are
not
going
to
be
asking
for
a
recommendation
at
this
time.
C
The
project
before
you
today
and
for
your
consideration
is
a
joint
proposal
between
the
city
of
boise.
Being
you
know,
the
parks
and
rec
department
in
public
works
and
boise
state
university.
We
have.
C
Restoration,
ecologist
and
steve
hubbell
with
the
environmental
manager
is
that
right
action
manager,
action
manager.
I
apologize
climate
action
manager
with
public
works
here
to
address
any
questions,
I'll
go
ahead
and
just
kind
of
provide
a
summary
of
the
application
and
then,
as
you
move
through
it,
if
there's
anything
that
pops
up,
they
can
address
any.
A
C
C
Maybe
three
years
ago,
we
embarked
on
a
restoration
effort
in
whole
gulch
to
remove
russian
olives
and
replace
them
with
native
trees
and
shrubs
and
flowering
plants,
and
through
the
course
of
discussions
on
that
project,
one
of
the
things
that
came
up
was
trying
to
figure
out
how
we
could
quantify
the
ecosystem
benefits
of
planting
trees
and
by
ecosystem
benefits.
I
mean
carbon
sequestration
potential
and
even
potentially
carbon
credits
and
over
the
you
know
course
of
those
conversations.
C
D
C
Which
has
some
specific
goals
in
it
related
to
how
the
city
is
mitigating
its
carbon
use
and
defining
the
carbon
benefits
that
we
are
providing.
C
E
C
To
read
through
make
some
notes:
this
is
the
first
science-related
proposal
that
has
been
before
you.
We
will
not
be
getting
necessarily
a
restoration
project
out
of
it
like
we
have
in
most
of
the
other
proposals,
but
we
will
get
information
that
would
help
us
meet
multiple
goals
across
many
city
initiatives.
C
So
that's
sort
of
the
framework
and
summary,
please
take
your
time
over
the
course
of
the
next
month
to
look
through
the
application.
Like
I
said
and
come
up
with
any
questions.
Do
you
have
any
questions
at
this
time
for
either
steve
with
regard
to
the
climate
nexus
or
martha?
With
regard
to
how
this,
how
the
science
will
work
sleep
with
that.
B
Yes,
because
I'm
just
curious,
because
the
u.s
soils
conservation
service
do
they
have
like
a
template
that
you
can
use
or
is
there
something
that's
already
out
there,
so
this.
F
Is
dr
degraff,
who
will
be
here
to
present
in
a
month
from
now?
There
is
some
understanding
of
carbon
and
sagebrush
stuff
ecosystem
from
vegetation
from
using.
E
F
From
using
remote
sensing
from
using
mapping,
however,
60
to
70
percent
of
the
amount
of
carbon
stored
is
actually
in
the
soil,
and
so
there
is,
there
has
never
been
testing
done
on
soils
in
the
boise
foothills
to
see
what
the
carbon
and
sequestration
is
it.
What
kind
of
carbon
sequestration
is
occurring
below
the
soil
surface,
but
that's
where.
F
Carbon
is
stored,
so,
yes,
there
is
some
templates
out
there.
There
are
some
remotely
sensed
tools
that
different
science
organizations
have
produced,
but
that
is
all
based
on
remote
sensing,
which
is
only
telling
a
fraction
of
the
story.
E
Because
I
kind
of
have
a
question:
what
is
the
sort
of
the
end
game
here?
Is
it
I
mean?
Are
you
gonna,
try
to
claim
carbon
credits,
or
is
that
typically
for
new
sequestration
or
new
capture,
not.
G
Existing
my
take
is
that
we're
looking
to
potentially
quantify
the
benefits
of
future
restoration
projects
from
from
a
climate
or
a
carbon
emissions
sequester
perspective.
I
think
we're
also
maybe
in
a
weird
way.
This
is
a
bit
of
a
marketing
project
because
I
think,
potentially,
once
we
have
this
information,
we
could
go
to
partners
who
might
be
interested
for
their
own
purposes,
whether
it's
corporate
or
institutional,
in
some
some
type
of
carbon
sequestration
activity
and
say,
hey
the
city
has
land
available,
that's
denuded,
it
needs
soil
or
vegetative
improvements.
G
You
know
certainly
going
to
the
process
of
actually
getting
formal
carbon
credits.
Approved
is
probably
pretty
far
down
the
road
and
certainly
complex
in
and
of
itself,
but
but
my
hope
is
that
we
can
help
to
answer
that
scientific
question
and
then
potentially
generate
support
for
either
preservation
or
restoration
activities
in
a.
C
Lot
of
ways
we
talk
about
these
ecosystem
benefits
in
sort
of
the
esoteric
section
other
than
the
market
value.
You
know
we
don't
really
have
a
way
to
define
the
value
of
these
open
space
reserves
from
a
climate
perspective
or
from
a
a
credit
potential
in
perspective,
so
this
would
be
laying
the
stage
for
for
some
of
defining
those
ecosystem
benefits
with
a
quantitative.
B
B
F
Not
that
I'm
aware
of
no
so
there's
no
general
data
set
for
the
whole
country
or
the
world
there
isn't
so
so
park
city
recently
did
a
carbon
map
using
remote
sensing
and
that's
when
you
just
looked
at
their
web
page
quite
a
bit.
So
if
you
google
park
city
carbon
mapping,
you
can
see
what
they've
done,
but
it's
all
based
on
you
know
what
type
of
remote
sensing
imagery
you
have
sure.
I
understand
who's.
C
Yeah,
so
that
just
real,
quick,
martha,
I
know
you
remember
the
details
of
the
budget
more
than.
A
F
E
Thank
you,
yeah,
so
would
an
example
be
something
like
well
to
follow
along.
We
tore
out
all
these
russian
knowledge
and
we
could
plan
x
plant
or
we
plant
y
plant
tree
that
are
both
native,
but
one
has
a
higher
carbon
frustration
than
the
other.
Something
like
that.
We.
F
Are
less
strategic
for
decision
making
correct
and
we
more
or
less
try
to
do
that?
With
this
initial
conversation
we
had
three
or
four
years
back,
we
were
trying
to
quantify
how
much
carbon
could
be
sequestered
in
this
restoration
project,
but
but
we
found
out
that
there
was
no
data
that
existed
that
could
guide
that
decision,
making.
A
So
you
mentioned
dr
mcgrath
was
going
to
present
next
month,
so
is.
F
C
If
you
want
yeah,
I
figured
what
we'd
do
today
is
introduce
the
proposal,
give
you
some
time
to
digest
it
and
then
bring
in
the
bsu
partners
next
month.
If
that's
what
the
committee
would
like,
because
they
can
answer
very
detailed
questions
about.
C
How
they're
going
to
accomplish
this,
what
it
can
provide
in
the
scientific
community,
maybe
not
as
much
what
it
can
provide
to
the
city?
Do
you
know
what
I
mean,
because
we
have
our
own
frame
of
reference
and
interest
right
from
a
policy
perspective
yeah?
But
I
didn't
want
to
start
there
because
they
they're.
C
C
A
C
E
C
I
think
that
could
be
a
recommendation
you
can
make
to
council.
I
think
the
carbon
credit
options
are
so
far
out
that
it
would
probably
be
a
separate
decision-making
process,
but
again
none
of
that
could
happen
if
we
didn't
have
this
separation,
so
this
is
sort
of
like
the
the
baseline
that
we
would
need
in
order
to
build
on.
G
Yeah
and
sarah,
I
think
it
might
be
a
two
phase
process
as
well.
You
know,
first
of
all,
we'd
want
to
get
credit
for
as
a
city
for
the
work
that
we're
already
doing
with
restoration
and
just
count
that
and
there's
not
necessarily
a
financial
component
to
that.
But
then,
if
there
was
other
interest
or
a
broader
range
of
projects,
then
potentially
it
could
evolve
to
that
sort
of
transaction
model.
C
H
I
guess
this
might
be
addressed
better
next
time,
but
I
was
sort
of
curious
about
the
the
reporting
of
the
data
that
was
being
collected.
You
know
it
says
it's
going
to
be
reported
to
us.
They'll
obviously
be
used
for
scientific
publications,
but
I
was
wondering
how
available
it
was
going
to
be
to
you
know
other
land
managers
or
decision
makers
or
folks
in
the
city
as
it's
it's
coming
in
to
make
various
decisions
before
it's
a
full
data
set.
So.
C
H
And
how
readily
will
it
be
available
like
over
what
period
of
time
will
it
become
available
to
folks
within
the
city
and
outside
of
it
yeah.
E
C
C
Then
we
would
probably
report
that
through
our
climate
action
roadmap,
which
is
a
annual
report,
it
would
be
something
we
would
be
adding
to
our
america,
the
beautiful
campaign
as
well,
and
we
have
an
interagency
management
agreement
with
all
public
agencies
that
own
property
in
the
hills
and
they
would
have
access
to
that
data.
So
it
would
be.
F
C
C
Okay,
well,
thank
you
for
your
consideration
again.
If
you
have
further
thoughts
questions
you
know.
F
E
Of
what
you
want
to
hear
about
next
time,
we
meet,
like
I
said,
we'll
bring
in
our
bsu
partners,
they'll
be
available.
C
At
steve
and
martha
can
join
us
again
love
to
have
you,
mr
chair,
if
you
don't
mind
I'll,
just
move
on
to
committee
updates:
okay,
okay,
the
only
update
I
have
for
you
right
now
is
we
did
receive
the
results
of
the
register,
rivers,
midterm
pilot
program
survey
and
they
were
very
favorable
in
terms
of
continuing
with
each
pilot
program
at
each
site
and,
as
you
will
recall,
this
is
a
lower
holes,
gulch
hull
cat
around
the
mountain
and
the
bucktail
trail
and
the
new
was
it
two
prong.
C
Yeah
we
got
really
great
feedback
for
this
survey
and
today
a
newsletter
is
going
out
to
people
who
have
signed
up
coverage
to
rivers
updates,
letting
them
know
that
the
survey
results
are
available.
So
if
you
go
to
the
richter
rivers,
facebook,
web
page,
you
can
see.
E
C
Comments
all
the
results,
but
okay,
great
chloe,
will
also
send
it
to
you.
We
are
getting.
You
know,
70
80
percent.
I
guess
happiness
rating.
C
C
It
is
so
we
decided
to
not
make
any
changes
at
this
time.
You'll
notice
that
most
of
the
people
who
provided
comments
were
the
folks
who
were
not
necessarily
pleased
with
the
pilot
management
programs
but
kind
of
taking
those
comments
in
perspective
with
the
yes
or
no.
Do
you
like
this
graphs?
We
determined
that
at
this
time,
in
the
middle
of
the
program,
we're
going
to
continue
on
course
we'll
be
doing
another
survey
at
the
end
of
the
pilot
management
program,
asking
people
whether
or
not
we
need
to
make
this
permanent.
A
C
C
D
Mr
president,
I
just
want
to
committee
members.
I
just
wanted
to
reiterate
what
sarah
said.
I'm
glad.
D
Through
the
the
updated
surveys,
it's
just
interesting
how
all
the
comments
do
not
mirror
what
the
results
of
the
survey
are,
which
is
really
odd.
So
if
you
read
through
the
comments
which
I
have
done,
and
obviously
sarah
has
done,
it's
those
that
are
speaking
out
against
everything
so
and
there's
a
lot
of
them.
D
C
D
Never
going
you
know,
obviously
this
is
not
moving
forward
until
you
see
the
results
of
how
people
actually
voted,
so
they
just
don't
match
up
which
isn't
uncommon.
I
think
it's
in
a
lot
of
the
surveys
that
we
that
we
provide
because
you're
giving
people
the
opportunity
to
contact
they're
going
to,
particularly
if
they're
not
happy,
there's
very
few.
I've
had
that
were
really
really
pleased
and
they're
amazing.
B
Are
there
any
questions?
Do
we
just
go
ahead
and
move
on
because
we
don't
need
to
go
into
a
separate
session?
I
would
like
about
five
minutes
of
your.
