It's
been
four
weeks
since
the
state
of
Colorado
went
into
its
safe
at
home.
Face
Coloradans
are
strongly
advised
to
continue
staying
at
home
to
the
greatest
extent
possible,
all
interacting
with
household
context,
and
only
leaving
first
century
activities
at
risk.
Individuals
such
as
people,
65
and
older,
should
continue
to
stay
at
home
unless
absolutely
necessary.
A
Current
cases
in
the
state
are
as
follows:
statewide
the
total
number
of
kovin
19
cases
stabbed
at
over
twenty
four
thousand
eight
hundred
and
sixty
counties,
Boulder
County
reports
having
over
nine
hundred
and
fifty
cases
of
Kobe
nineteen.
This
week,
governor
jared
Polis
announced
that
the
Colorado
Department
of
Public,
Health
and
Environment
said
that
the
safe
at
home
executive
order
has
been
amended
and
extended
until
June
1st
2020.
According
to
that
order,
additional
businesses
can
open
with
abundant
precautions.
This
includes
private
campgrounds,
effective
May
25th
by
Nanette
restaurants,
effective
May
27th.

camps
in
sports
camps
for
kids,
effective
June,
1st
curbside
service
at
libraries,
personal
training
at
pools
and
indoor
pools
may
have
no
more
than
four
people
in
regards
to
the
city
of
Boulder.
Since
May
18,
the
bullet
Pollak
library
has
offered
limited.
No
contact
carry
out
service
for
items
that
were
already
on
holds
on
the
shelf,
recreation,
centers
age,
well,
centers,
libraries,
picnic
areas
and
shelters.

Municipal,
Building
and
most
city
offices
remain
closed,
more
information

the

of
reopening
and
city
facilities
currently
open
is

Last
week,
Boulder
County
Public
Health
extended
the
use
of
facial
coverings
through
Tuesday
June
30th.
Every
person
over
the
age
of
12
must
waive
face
masks
whenever
in
public
anywhere
in
Boulder
County,
where
social
distancing
of
6
feet
cannot
be
maintained,
a
cloth
mask
prevents
large
droplets
of
respiratory
particles
from
being
expelled
into
the
air
which
may
contain
the
virus
particles.

The
intent
of
the
program
is
to
support
health
and
safety
while
reopening
dining
service
under
the
state's
new,
safe
at
home
restaurant
guidelines,
beginning
May
29th
several
blocks
along
Pro,
Street
and
University
Hills
event.
Street
will
close
to
provide
pedestrian
friendly
zones
where
restaurants
and
retailers
can
expand
operations
into
the
street.

million
dollars
in
grant.
Funding
was
awarded
to
the
city
of
Boulder
by
the
Colorado
Department
of
Transportation,
for
several
transportation
projects
for
separate
grants
were
submitted
and
received.

grant
funding
will
help
address
safety
concerns
at
baseline,
Road
and
Canyon
Creek
Road,
which
includes
adding
during
traffic
signal
crossing
among
other
safety
improvements
pleases
at
Boulder
transportation,

more

and
programs.

farmers
market
is
back,
however,
things
look
a
little
different.
The
market
is
to
be
used
strictly
for
grocery
shopping.
Those
who
wish
to
attend
in
person
to
the
market
must
make
a
reservation
through
event.
Breaks

things
will
not
be
available
at
the
market
until
further
notice.

and
social
distancing
will
be
required
at
the
farmers
market
this
year.
