With
the
white
rocks
trailhead
right
now,
great
trail,
just
off
of
Valmont
across
the
road
from
North
Tower
trail
great
place
to
go
if
you're
in
a
wheelchair
or
a
person
with
disabilities,
it's
really
flat
trail,
easy
to
moderate
all
the
way
it's
about
1.25
miles
out
so
2.5,
then
I'm
back
a
couple
spots
are
a
little
difficult.
There's
one
at
the
beginning.
That's
eleven
percent
grade
for
about
twenty
feet.
Sometimes
the
trail
gets
washed
out
there.
So
you
get
a
double
cross
slope,
there's
a
railroad
track
that
you
have
to
cross
over.
A
That's
pretty
easy
and
a
bridge
that's
fairly
easy
to,
but
it's
in
a
great
place.
It's
in
a
habitat
conservation
area.
No
dogs
are
allowed.
There's
a
huge
diversity
of
species
out
here.
Sometimes
you'll
see
a
red
tail
hawk
flying
on
top
bald
eagles
live
out
here,
great
blue
herons,
a
lot
of
different
water
pal.
So
keep
your
eyes
peeled.
There's
a
trail
between
the
two
trails,
the
North
teller
trail
and
the
white
rocks
trail.
Pretty
difficult,
though
so.
I'd
recommend
parking
down
here
in
the
two
disabled
spots
that
are
available.
A
A
This
is
the
milkweed
plant
beautiful
plant,
the
flowers,
bloom,
real,
pretty
it's
where
that
monarch
caterpillar
lives
and
is
raised.
Basically,
it
lives
off
the
silicate,
this
white
milky
stuff
from
the
plant,
or
it
gets
its
name
and
it
becomes
poisonous
so
that
when
it's
a
monarch
butterfly
it's
poisonous
to
birds,
any
animals
that
try
to
eat
it.
A
A
A
B
I
try
to
learn
more
about
my
local
bird
species,
not
something
that's
not
been.
One
of
my
strong
suits
lately.
So
I
heard
this
is
a
great
place
to
come.
This
habitat
conservation
area
has
a
ton
of
different
wetlands
and
riparian
areas
and
all
these
trees,
and
apparently
the
birds
love
this
spot.
So
so
far,
I
haven't
had
a
lot
of
luck.
I
have
been
here
that
long,
but
I've
seen
a
snapping
turtle.
Did
you
guys
pass
that
on
your
way.
A
Yeah,
that
was
cool,
I'm.
A
A
A
Get
you
a
bridge
at
the
end
here
little
slope
and
we
are
almost
to
the
end
of
the
trail
unless
you're
really
struck
and
crazy.
Just
the
trail
goes
up.
The
side
of
the
hill
here
keeps
winding
pretty
steep,
pretty
tough
I
be
able
to
do
it
on
a
hand,
cycle
type
thing
and
there
you
go
fix
you
up
to
the
east
trail
and
that's
the
end
of
the
white
rocks
trail.
