edition
of
your
newscast
Jocelyn
AvendaƱo
informs
you
about
distracted
driving.
It
has
become
a
serious
problem
responsible
for
numerous
accidents
and
deaths
in
the
city
and
across
the
country
during
distracted
driving
awareness
month.
The
city
would
like
to
raise
awareness
of
the
risks
and
encourage
drivers
to
stay
focused
while
driving
behind
the
wheel.

To
do
some
spring
gardening,
the
boler
parks
and
recreation
department,
forestry
team
is
working
with
play
builder
foundation
and
cooper
to
give
away
tree
seedlings
to
community
members.
On
april
29
at
8am,
around
350
seedlings
will
be
given
away
at
the
event,
including
Texas
among
others.
Raffle
will
be
on
a
first
come
first
served
basis
and
no
additional
seedlings
will
be
available
for
purchase
during
the
event.
Community
members
can
also
provide
email
at
the
event.
To
receive
information
on
tree
care
and
planting,
as
well
as
follow
up
information.

The
Boller
Forestry
staff
will
have
additional
events
in
the
next
couple
of
months,
including
a
community
tree
planting
event
in
May
and
a
tree
sale
in
the
fall.
So
Community
members
are
encouraged
to
provide
their
email
at
the
event
to
stay
informed
and
with
over
15,000
vibrant
tulips
in
bloom.
The
center
of
bolder
is
celebrating
the
season,
and
the
beauty
of
these
flowers
during
the
annual
festival
is
called.
The
event
is
scheduled
for
sunday
april
23
from
1
to
5
p.m.
with
a
rain
date
on
april
30.

festival
offers
mini
walking,
parades
with
the
tuli
fairy,
live
performances,
free
crafts
and
more
the
event
takes
place
between
the
blocks,
1200
and
1400
of
the
next,
with
live
performances
in
front
of
the
bolder
county
courthouse.
The
booming
festival
to
the
Fairy
celebrates
the
beautiful
tulips
that
are
planted
each
year
throughout
the
next.
The
tradition
began
in
the
late
1970s
when
The,
then
sister
city
of
the
Netherlands
sent
5000
tulip
bulbs
annually
to
be
planted
throughout
the
mall
The
holiday
is
a
free
event
and
costumes
are
encouraged.
