The
park
is
illuminated
with
more
than
250,000
LEDs
twinkling
daily
from
four
to
eleven
o'clock
p.m.
now
through
februari
20th.

season,
you
can
lace
up
your
skates
and
welcome
the
return
of
winter
skate
presented
by
boulder
creek
events.
Winter
skates,
grand
opening
is
november
29th.
The
rink
will
operate
on
the
13th
Street
Plaza
visit,
BCE
productions.com

winter
skate
for
ice
time.
The
rink
will
be
adorned
with
additional
city
installed
lighting
and
decor,
created
from
downed
ash
trees.
As
part
of
the
tree
debrita
opportunity,
project
movies
in
the
park
will
host
a
showing
of
The
Polar
Express
on
December
10th,
and
there
are
even
self-guided
scavenger
hunts.

hidden
lights
and
learn
more
about
the
trees
in
Central
Park
snow,
much
fun.
Events
are
just
some
of
the
activities
designed
to
keep
the
Civic
area
vibrant
and
bustling
during
the
construction
that
just
began
in
parts
of
the
park
west
of
broadway.
That
construction
will
continue
throughout
the
winter
months
and
into
late
2017,
making
the
area
more
inviting
and
easier
to
access
for
years
to
come.
When
finished,
the
park
will
feature
an
innovative
nature
play
area
near
the
main
library,
an
open
event
lawn
for
special
events
and
a
new
eleventh
Street
bridge.

grants
are

city
of
Boulder
Arts
Commission
allows
individuals,
nonprofits

cultural
community
to
apply
for
funding
through
grants
online
a
colorado-based
internet
service.
This
year's
approved
budget
is
bigger
than
ever
with
six
hundred
and
seventy-five
thousand
dollars
in
funds.

assistance
fund,
developmental
scholarships
and
grants
for
art,
education,
guidelines
and
deadlines
can
be
found
online
at
BAC
cultural
grants.
Org

new

is
the

of

jury
panel
