Jonathan,
Daniel,
the
city
of
Boulder,
continues
to
work
with
public
health
and
community
partners
to
limit
the
spread
of
corona
virus
and
to
put
resources
in
place
to
help
the
community.
This
week,
many
counties
around
Colorado
instituted
stay
at
home
orders,
including
Boulder
County
governor
jared
Polis,
followed
soon.
After
issuing
a
statewide
stay
at
home
order,
effective
March
26th
at
6
a.m.
the
order
requires
all
individuals
anywhere
in
the
state
to
stay
at
home,
except
for
certain
defined
essential
activities,
work
and
services.
A
The
order
is
in
place
until
April
11th
2020
this
day
at
home.
Orders
goal
also
known
as
shelter
in
place,
is
to
control
in
slow
the
spread
of
cleaning
team.
There
are
currently
55
Boulder
County
residents
who
have
tested
positive
for
coronavirus
according
to
Boulder
County
Public
Health
at
the
time
of
recording
of
this
broadcast,
while
a
state
has
over
1000
cases.
Under
this
order,
all
individuals
living
in
Colorado
are
ordered
to
stay
in
their
place
of
residence.
Residents
can
only
leave
for
essential
activities,
essential
government
functions
or
to
operate
essential
businesses.
A
Essential
activities
include
obtaining
medications,
visiting
a
healthcare,
professional
or
obtaining
supplies.
They
need
to
work
from
home,
going
out
to
buy
groceries
and
supplies
for
one's
household,
engaging
in
outdoor
activity
individually
or
in
groups
of
no
more
than
four.
As
long
as
social
distancing
requirements
are
still
being
followed,
including
walking,
hiking
biking
or
running,
performing
work,
providing
essential
products
and
services
at
the
site
of
an
essential
business
to
care
for
a
family,
member
or
pet
in
another
household,
and
to
relocate
a
household
from
one
resident
to
another.

the
stay
at
home
order,
businesses
may
continue
operations
for
their
employees,
contractors
and
volunteers,
work
remotely
or
from
home
essential
businesses
that
must
remain
open
have
to
comply
with
social
distancing
requirements
of
in
a
6-foot
distance
from
others.
Essential
businesses
include
healthcare
operations
and
essential
infrastructure
and
essential
government
functions.

Grocery
stores,
farmers,
markets,
farm
and
produce
stands
supermarkets,
food
banks,
convenience
stores,
licensed
liquor,
stores,
licensed
marijuana,
dispensaries,
food
and
plant
cultivation,
businesses
that
provide
food,
shelter
and
social
services,
newspapers,
television,
radio
and
other
media
services,
restaurants
and
other
facilities
that
prepare
and
serve
food
only
for
delivery,
takeout
or
drive
through
the
city
of
Boulder
continues
to
provide
essential
city
services
to
the
community,
including
Public
Safety,
water
utilities
and
emergency
response
services.

city
services
are

online.

order
is
in
effect
until
April
11th
2020
unless
rescinded
or
modified
by
further
executive
order
on
Friday
March
20th,
the
East
Boulder
rec
center
became
home
to
the
köppen
19
Recovery
Center
for
unhoused
individuals.
This
is
an
effort
developed
by
the
homeless,
solutions
for
Boulder
County,
a
partnership
of
the
city
of
Boulder
city
of
wok,
Mont
and
Boulder
County.
A
This
plan
includes
housing,
vulnerable
individuals
who
show
symptoms
of
the
virus
or
have
tested
positive
and
are
currently
experiencing
homelessness.
The
response
team
works
under
the
direction
of
the
emergency
operation
centers
for
Boulder
County,
the
Cova
19
recovery
center
serves
homeless
individuals
from
Boulder
and
Longmont.
Those
who
appear
to
show
symptoms
of
Kobe
19
and
who
require
further
testing
will
be
transported
from
homeless.
Shelters
to
the
CRC.
Individuals
must
be
screened
through
an
existing
shelter
program.

As
the
CRC
is
not
a
walk-up
service,
the
CRC
will
be
open
24
hours
a
day,
seven
days
a
week.
Community
members
who
would
like
to
volunteer
and
support
this
initiative
can
sign
up
at
the
website.
Seen
on
your

all
staff
and
volunteers
at
the
CRC
will
receive
training
and
personal
protective
equipment
visit
the
city's
newsroom
for
more
information.

This
week,
the
city
of
Boulder
issued
an
emergency
order
that
allows
Borden
Commission's
meetings
to
occur
as
long
as
they
are
health
remotely.
Under
the
new
order
signed
by
city
manager,
Jane
Prodigal,
the
department
has
the
authority
to
schedule
and
hold
a
remote
board
and
Commission
meeting
under
the
order.
Individuals
can
participate
by
telephone
or
computer
as
no
in-person
gatherings
is
permitted.
These
meetings
may
be
held
remotely
in
the
following
circumstances.
The
meeting
is
necessary
to
award
funds
appropriated
by
City
Council.
A
The
meeting
is
necessary
to
provide
feedback
for
an
item
scheduled
for
action
by
City
Council
or
the
meeting
is
necessary
for
another
reason
approved
by
the
city
manager.
The
city
will
continue
to
monitor
any
new
developments
and
will
be
responsive
to
the
guidance
and
directives
of
its
partners
in
community
health,
as
they
share
new
information
for
more
information
about
Cova
19.
