out
of
a
floodplain
as
part
of
the
Gregory
Canyon
Creek
mitigation
plan,
this
home,
located
along
8th,
Street
and
University
Avenue,
also
known
as
the
Nelson
house,
will
soon
be
removed
from
its
current
location
to

the
year.
The
millionth
visitor
crossed
the
library
doors
on
Saturday
December
15th,
a
milestone
that
had
not
been
surpassed
in
12
years.
This
count
includes
visitors
from
all
five
Boulder
public
libraries
to
check
out
the
countless

The
holiday
shopping
season
is
in
full
swing
and
Boulder
shoppers
are
looking
for
the
best
deals,
but
beware:
shoppers
aren't
the
only
ones.
A
Looking
for
opportunities
we
spoke
with
David
Kaufman,
with
the
boulder
Police
Department,
to
give
you
tips
on
what
you
can
do
to
prevent
yourself
from
falling
victim
sweet
crime,
this
holiday
season,
it's
the
most
wonderful
time
of
the
year,
but
not
even
the
holiday,
stop
criminals
from
knocking
at
your
door.
So
we
gathered
the
following
safety
tips
to
keep
in
mind
for
a
peaceful
holiday
season.
Well,.
D
A
D
Of
things
we
see
are,
for
example,
somebody
in
a
store
and
they'll
leave
their
purse
open
in
the
front
of
the
shopping
cart.
While
they
look
at
the
shelves,
person
runs
by
takes
items,
especially
the
wallet
right
out
of
the
purse
and
they're
across
the
street,
making
purchases
on
your
credit
cards
before
you
even
knew
it
was
gone,
but.
A
D
D
Responsible,
the
average
price
for
a
taxi
is
$15,
a
DUI
could
set
you
back
fifteen
thousand
dollars
and
in
this
day
and
age,
you've
got
social
apps
for
like
meat
like
uber
and
lyft
use
those
services
or
just
get
a
designated
driver
old
school,
but
don't
risk
it
don't
risk
your
livelihood
and
your
family.
Just
because
you
had
a
couple
of
drinks
for.

Americans
create
20
percent
more
trash
and
send
out
about
1.5
billion
cards
this
time
of
year?
Here's
how
you
can
reduce
waste,
this
holiday
season,
wrapping
gifts,
use
recycled
paper
such
as
old
maps,
calendars
and
even
blueprints.
You
can
stop
by
Boulder
sustainability
offices
and
pick
up
recycled
paper
materials
to
use
for
your
gifts
for
those
planning
holiday
parties.
A
You
can
reduce
waste
by
using
washable
dishes
or
come
possible
dinner
plates
an
opt-out
of
using
plastic
tablecloths
for
cloth
ones.
Websites
such
as

the
food
calm
will
help.
You
calculate
how
much
food
yo
needs,
depending
on
the
number
of
guests
who
minimize
the
amount
of
food
wasted
and
after
the
holidays,
are
over,
don't
forget
to
place
your
natural
Christmas
trees
next
