You

as
a

and
the
accompanying
economic
impacts.
The
city
of
boulder
has
had
to
make
service
changes
and
cut
budget
to

the

lost

staff
provided
an
update
on
this
during
the
June

board
meeting
highlights
of
the
tuesday
evening.
Meeting
night
includes
a
report
on
the
city
sales
tax.
For
the
month
of
April,
the
staff
reported
that
the
I
sales
taxes
decreased
nearly
7%
in
april,
compared
to
april
2019
sales
and
use
taxes
currently
account
for
48
percent
of
city
revenue.
A
The
city
has
been
working
diligently
over
the
past
several
months
to
identify
cost
savings
costs
through
adjustments
to
non-essential
programs
and
services
projects.
I
have
identified
more
than
18
million
dollars
in
non-personnel
cost
savings
through
their
adjustments.
Some
of
these
include
deferred
capital
projects
such
as
the
construction
of
the
hospital
or
paintball
sham,
and
the
parks
and
recreation
department
master
plan.
There
has
also
been
a
reduction
in
city
staff.
In
addition
to
this,
the
city
has
implemented
extended
city,
vacation
closures.
All
city
staff
will
have
a
total
of
six
days.
