This
Labor

weekend
welcome

Boulder
I'm,
Joslyn
Avendano.
It's
been
one
year
since
the
purchase
of
the
Ponderosa
mobile
home
park
located
in
a
Boulder
County
enclave
along
Broadway.
Since
then,
the
city
has
collaborated
with
residents
to
find
ways
to
maintain
the
affordability
of
Ponderosa
and
avoid
the
displacement
of
residents.
A
Earlier
this
month,
the
project's
Community
Concert
plan
for
the
future
of
the
mobile
home
park
was
presented
to
council,
the
city
of
Boulder
purchased
the
Ponderosa
mobile
home
park
in
August
of
2017
for
the
purposes
of
annexing
the
property
into
the
city
and
to
replace
and
improve
a
failing
infrastructure,
as
well
as
to
preserve
the
committee
as
permanently
affordable.
The
concept
plan
for
the
Ponderosa
project
was
presented
to
Council
in
the
August
23rd
special
meeting.

where
we
have
a
remarkable
example
of
a
net
zero
building,
we're
gonna
go
out
and
look
at
one
of
our
carbon
sequestration
projects.
The
city
has
going
as
well
as
all
week
talking
about
some
of
the
leading
work.
That's
taking
place
around
the
world
in
zero
emission
transportation,
in
reducing
natural
gas
use
and
in
developing
a
whole
bunch
of
new
renewable
energy.
Each.

Like
Boulder
who've
stepped
out
to
try
to
take
leadership
in
this
also
need
support,
and
so
one
of
the
best
ways
that
we
can
find
to
improve
our
own
work
to
find
ways
to
work
with
our
community
even
more
effectively
is
to
draw
on
the
lessons
and
the
practices
and
the
innovations
that
are
taking
place
around
the
world.
