Description
This week on Inside Boulder News: Boulder's New Heating and Cooling Incentive, Bike to School Day and What's Up Boulder.
A
This
week
on
inside
boulder
news,
the
city
and
county
promote
a
renewable
way
to
heat
and
cool
homes.
She
may
only
be
in
the
4th
grade,
but
she's
becoming
a
shining
example
for
the
community
and
mark
your
calendars
for,
what's
up
boulder,
welcome
to
inside
boulder
news,
your
source
for
all
things:
Boulder
I'm,
Annie's
aruba.
This
week
the
city
launched
comfort,
365,
a
partnership
between
the
city
and
Boulder
County
to
provide
residents
with
cleaner
and
more
efficient
way
to
heat
and
cool
their
homes.
We
spoke
with
Brett
Kim
Caron
to
learn
more
about
this
incentive.
A
B
A
Like
burning
natural
gas
inside
of
homes,
whether
it's
through
water
heaters,
furnaces
or
even
gas,
cook
stoves
add
significant
amounts
of
carbon
monoxide
and
other
harmful
chemicals
to
our
homes.
Air
quality,
electric
heat
pumps,
however,
can
improve
a
households.
Air
quality
by
replacing
gas
systems
inside
homes
for.
B
Many
of
us
who
live
here
in
town
and
have
central
air
furnaces
a
lot
of
times,
you'll
have
one
room,
that's
really
cold
one
room,
that's
really
hot
or,
as
I've
said,
a
lot
of
houses.
Don't
even
have
air
conditioning.
So
one
of
the
great
things
about
heat
pumps
is
that
you
can
actually
put
them
where
you
need
them
and
get
not
only
heating
but
also
cooling.
There
are
also
hot
water
heat
pumps,
which
actually
can
provide
that
same
sort
of
electric
based
heating,
but
through
a
high-efficiency
heat
pump
for
your
water
here.
For
this.

Earlier
this
week,
Boulder
Valley
School

was
a
smooth
ride
for
participants
this

School,
takes
bike

to
a
whole
other
