Boulder
I'm,
Jocelyn,
Evan,
Daniel,
the
city
of
Boulder,
began
the
Baseline
Road
Transportation
safety
project
this
week.
The
goal
is
to
enhance
Transportation
safety
for
all
travelers.
This
project
is
currently
in
its
first
phase
and
focuses
on
the
stretch
of
Baseline
Road
from
28th
Street
to
Foothills
Parkway.
We
spoke
to
Erica
madore
senior,
Transportation
planner
for
the
city
of
Boulder
to
learn
more
about
this
project.

Have
a
vision,
zero
goal
in
the
city
of
zero,
serious
injuries
and
fatalities
on
our
roadways
and
a
safe
streets
report
recently
found
that
67
percent
of
those
crashes
are
happening
on
our
busiest
streets
just
like
Baseline.
So
when
city
council
found
that
out,
they
elevated
this
Corridor
to
a
priority
in
the
core

phase.

and
also
we'll
see

who
are
walking,
biking
and
rolling.
We'll
also
see
separation
for
bikes
between
the
bike,
lane
and
vehicles,
and
also
some
vertical
separation
in
terms
of
flexible
delineators
or
concrete
barriers.
