A
Welcome

Boulder
I'm,
Jocelyn,
Evan,
Daniel,
the
city
of
Boulder,
in
partnership
with
Boulder
County,
is
working
to
implement
a
solution
that
aims
to
address
both
the
substance,
use
and
the
homelessness
epidemic
in
Boulder
County.
It's
called
project
recovery
and
it
offers
substance
use
recovery
homes
throughout
Boulder.
County
project
recovery
is
an
effort
led
by
Boulder
County
Community
Services.
The
program
aims
to
end
the
cycle
of
incarceration
support
the
recovery
and
re-entry
process,
reduce
incidences
of
crime
and
create
AC
for
community
Through.
B
We're
providing
a
house
that
goes
along
with
it,
because
it's
well
known
that
it's
very
hard
to
be
successful
in
outpatient
treatment
if
you're
living
if
you're
living
new
situation
is
unstable.
So
if
you're,
living,
Outdoors
or
unsheltered,
or
even
in
the
emergency
shelter
it's
difficult
to
to
complete
a
treatment.
A
B
Our
work
specifically
with
folks
experiencing
homelessness
and
unsheltered
homelessness,
like
this,
has
been
identified
as
a
a
need
and
a
gap.
Folks
have
have
substance,
use
and
there's
a
real
lack
of
treatment
for
folks
who
can't
afford
to
pay
for
it.
We
really
were
excited
to
partner
and
to
find
solutions
for
these
things
that
you
know
these
issues
that
have
been
identified
in
Boulder
and
that
we
were
just
looking
for
solutions
to
these
issues.
A
The
city
is
still
in
the
process
of
purchasing
the
recovery
home.
It
is
likely
that
the
additional
homes
will
not
be
within
the
city.
One
set
up
these
homes
will
provide
stable
housing
for
clients,
while
they
access
treatments
at
a
separate
facility.
Evidence
shows
people
can
more
successfully
address
other
problems
such
as
employment,
mental
health
and
addiction.
Once
they
are
stably
housed,
we
feel.
