From YouTube: Navigating Open Data
Description
How to navigate the City of Boulder's open data catalog
A
A
It
is
searchable
on
google
or
you
can
just
type
in
this
url
once
you're
on
the
site,
you'll
notice
that
there
are
several
ways
to
browse
data
sets.
So
at
the
top
of
the
page,
there
is
a
magnifying
glass
if
you
know
specifically
what
you
are
looking
for.
You
can
type
in
a
keyword
here,
for
example,
if
we
wanted
to
look
at
data
sets
having
to
do
with
the
boulder
police
department
bpd,
we
could
type
that
in
and
we
would
see
all
affiliated
data
sets
and
dashboards.
A
If
you
don't
know
what
you're
looking
for
and
you
just
like
to
browse,
you
can
scroll
down
the
page
and
explore
datasets
by
different
areas.
For
example,
you
can
look
by
popular
topic
if
you'd
like
to
see
base
maps
such
as
road
center
lines
or
historic
base
maps
that
we've
used
in
the
city.
You
could
click
on
our
base
map
section
you
can
scroll
through
all
of
these
categories
to
see
the
corresponding
data
sets.
A
We
also
have
data
sets
sorted
by
our
sustainability
and
resilience
framework.
So,
if
you
were
interested
in
in
data
sets
corresponding
to
a
safe
community,
that
would
often
include
things
like
bpd
or
the
fire
department.
You
could
click
on
safe
and
at
the
bottom
we
allow
you
to
explore
data
sets
by
department.
So
if
you
wanted
to
see
all
of
the
data
sets
in
our
human
resources
department,
for
example,
you
could
click
on
human
resources.
A
This
is
all
off
of
the
main
page.
So
if
we
were
to
click
on
human
resources,
it
would
take
you
directly
to
that
page
with
the
data
set.
The
data
sets
corresponding
to
human
resources,
so
we
only
have
one
that
is
our
employee
salaries
data
set
and
you
could
choose
to
open
that
and
click
on
that
data
at
any
time.
If
you
wanted
to
go
back
to
the
main
page
or
to
search
you
can
use
this
magnifying
glass
in
the
top
right
corner
to
search
and
in
the
top
left
corner.
A
You'll
see
this
open
data
that
you
can
click
on,
and
that
will
take
you
back
to
the
main
page.
So
from
this
page,
you
should
be
able
to
find
any
data
set
that
you're
interested
in.
If
you
don't
know
a
particular
category,
sustainability
and
resilience
framework
or
department,
you
can
also
click
on
all
data
sets
here
at
the
top
right.
Sorry
top
left.
A
A
However,
that
does
not
mean
the
data
is
current.
As
of
then
that
is
just
the
last
time
it
was
updated.
