The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department needs the help of our community to develop the North Trail Study Area Plan. This plan seeks to improve visitor experiences on OSMP lands north of Linden Avenue and the Diagonal Highway by creating high-quality recreational amenities that are compatible with the city’s natural, cultural and agricultural conservation goals. In the wake of the historic flood, the Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department, along with hundreds of volunteers, repaired miles of trails and numerous trailheads. However, some trails sustained so much damage during the flood, they require substantial repair efforts in order for OSMP to reopen them to the public. Here's a look at those trails. http://osmp.org

The City of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks Department (OSMP) uses motion-detecting cameras to learn how local wildlife use Boulder-area landscapes. The information the cameras provide also helps OSMP staff to identify important wildlife areas and assists the department in crafting long-term management plans that protect local wildlife habitats. http://osmp.org
