Description
InsideBoulder - 2 Minute Workout: Yoga
A
We're
at
the
east
boulder
rec
center
to
learn
about
yoga
moves
that
we
can
do
it
the
office
or
at
home
to
get
in
better
shape
and
joining
us
today
to
teach
us.
The
basic
yoga
moves
is
Lou
Ann
Harlow,
who
is
our
yoga
program
coordinator
for
the
city
and
yoga
instructor
Tom
shwetha
who's
going
to
demonstrate
what
some
of
the
more
advanced
moves
are.
So
I'm
going
to
step
back
and
let
Jen
be
our
guinea
pig
today
and
the.
B
Yoga
program
consists
of
yoga,
tai,
chi,
chi,
khong,
feldenkrais
and
Alexander
Technique.
Our
programming
includes
classes
for
children,
parent-child,
pre
and
postnatal,
and
almost
any
fitness
level.
So
Jennifer
today
we're
going
to
focus
on
the
upper
body
and
stretches
that
are
excellent
for
paddling
rowing
cycling,
all
these
sports
that
you
might
be
doing
in
the
summer
as
well
as
just
everyday
work
at
the
computer
or
even
cooking
things
like
that
that
we
do
with
their
shoulders
and
arms.
B
So
Jennifer
we're
going
to
do
the
what
we
call
the
wall
dog
but
can
be
done
on
your
desktop.
It
can
be
done
on
your
kitchen
cabinet
top,
even
if
you're
traveling
on
a
picnic
table.
So
if
you
come
up
to
the
surface
and
come
into
almost
a
judo
chop
with
your
little
fingers
down
and
then
walk
your
feet
back
bring
your
hands
about
the
width
of
your
shoulders.
It's
a
little
bit
wider.
B
There
then
drop
your
head
down
and
we
call
this
blossoming
the
buttocks,
the
sitting
bones
spread
and
from
this
end
of
the
stretch,
this
moves
in
this
direction.
The
hands
are
moving
in
this
direction.
So
very
nice
and
long
letting
the
sternum
drop
excellent,
lift
the
kneecaps
ground
the
feet
and
breathe
through
the
nose.
The
breath
is
the
cornerstone
of
all
of
our
practice.
