center
today
learning
about
some
of
the
basic
basketball
programs
that
the
city
of
Boulder
offers
for
little
kids
up
through
the
adult
basketball
league
and
joining
us
to
talk
about
some
of
the
foundational
basketball
moves
is
Dean

What
kinds
of
things
will
you
teach
little
kids
yeah.

our
classes
called
mini
coopers
and
we
started
about
age
5
and
go
to
age,
about
10
in
the
winter
actually,
and
we
really
talked
about
control,
just
kids
at
ages,
they're
out
of
control.
So
what
we
do
is
we
use
a
junior
sized
ball,
rookie
gear
ball,
and
it's
about
half
the
size
of
a
big
ball
in
ways
a
little
bit
less.
So
it's
easier
to
control
and
easier
to
get
into
the
stuff.
So
one
of
our
main
moves
that
we
go
with
the
control
is
our
Triple
Threat
position,
which
is
right
here.

the
three
main
factors
of
basketball
which
are
shooting
dribbling
and
passing
so

can

stop
get
control
and
pass
it
and
